"Can he do it or not, Aurelia? Please, this is important to me."

Hearing Malacai say please made Aurelia's heart skip a beat, and so did Nerissa's; never in their wildest imagination did they think Malacai would ask for something like this.

Aurelia didn't need to ask further to understand the gravity of the situation.
