Chapter 16- Obtaining a Castle

In a large hall on a decorative chair like thone, a fat middle aged man was tapping his fingers on its armrest of the chair.

"Lord mesto what were you thinking?" Saturus was complaining to his lord sighly as his Castle's Retainer.

"Attacking a mage before her contact goes into effect is a major violation of the treaty between mage association and Order of the crest" Saturus continued his words.

"If they complain and you will charged, they could strip your rank" Saturus told him clearly.

"You should only follow my orders" Mest Meadrich spoke angirly as he drank the wine from the glass nearby kept.

"As you wish" Saturus became silent.

"M.My lorddd.. a young lord is attacking our soldiers mercilessly." A soldier rushed in the throne room and informed the lord Mest Meadrich as he huffed and immediately locked the main door.

"How many men were attacking our castle?" Lord Meadrich inquired.

"Four people, my Lord! Only one of them is attacking and rest are walking behind him " The soldier told the conditions of the attack.

"What nonsense is this! Only one people is breaching our whole castle and all of the 50 soldiers assigned can't stop him" lord Mest Meadrich spoke with desbelief.

"My lord he appears to be a crest bea...." The soldier was informing but a laughing voice came outside the door.

A loud sound came as main door to the throne room was blasted into pieces.

"My..my. did you guys already finished my introduction. Allow even me to a chance to speak for myself" Helix spoke with a mocking gaze.

"You don't need to do this kind of destruction Helix" Kevin tried to reprimand helix.

"Do i need to again remind you of my free tip wandering Knight" Helix spoke in cold tone as Kevin became silent and clenched his fists hard.

"Why do you look so familiar" Lord Mest Meadrich immediately pointed towards our young mage, Cecilia.

"I am Cecilia Evelyn and this young man is my Lord "Helix Cloud" Cecilia introduced both herself and Helix.

"Cecilia, yeah i had heard of you that you were going to master every subject of magic and graduate the academy at seven flying colours" Saturus spoke praising her.

"Yes..yes I remembered you are that damn mage that i had send soldiers to capture as you were the one entering in the contract with Lord Miller, the Count of Artuk" Mest Meadrich spoke angirly as he remembered her.

"Thankyou for the praise but now I am solely devoted to Lord Helix", Cecilia responded to Saturus.

"Are you certain right as the mage who uncertainly voids the contract will be penalized accordingly." Saturus spoke concerned.

"My lord Helix told me that he will take all the responsibilities of mine along with my mistakes." Cecilia again directly sent all her problems to Helix's name.

"What an interesting lord you get" Saturus spoke praising Helix and he look towards him with a happy nod.

"Well, she is my life partner, so afcourse i will take all the responsibilities" Helix admitted without any hesitation.

Saturus, Helix and Cecilia chatted completely ignoring Lord Mest Meadrich who appears to be now enraged.

"What are you doing Saturus" Mest Meadrich spoke in an enraged voice.

"I order you in the name of my crest, sileence them" Lord Mest ordered him.

"Silence.. You have voilated your treaty meaning you will be stripped of your rank and everything else and your contract with me is now void. So i have no reason to listen to your orders." Saturus spoke sternly with a stoic face.

"What did you say" Meadrich spoke with a shocked face as he sttaggerd and fell back on his throne bewildered.

"Now, the matter have been spoken it's time for you to surrender your crest and leave this land permanently" Saturus orderd him.

"Bastards, this is all because you little shit passed through my domain" Mest spoke as he lifted his sword and ran to attack Cecilia.

"Monarch Presence" Helix mumbled as a heavy pressure darted towards the entire hall and pressed on every one.

"Ugh..

All of them stiifned and sweat started dripping from their faces as the Lord Mest Meadrich stopped frozen as his body didn't moved no matter how he tried.

Helix suddenly started to move near the lord as the lord flinched and can't even talk.

"You should stop weilding the sword" Helix spoke no commanded to Mest Meadrich as he suddenly droped his sword.

"Now surrender your crest to me" Helix again gave another command to Mest Meadrich.

Mest suddenly kneeled infront of helix and showed his red Crest as he spoke,

"I Mest Meadrich offer my crest to you.

"I Helix accept your crest as my own" Helix spoke soon after him and joined his crest to Castle's one..

Light blinded everyone as Helix crest became bigger and contains the peak of baron Rank crest's Abyssal mana.

[Congratulations master, on promoting to Baron Rank from Knight Rank], system notification soon also came.
