CULTIVATION PAYS OFF

John look at the newly appeared [Space energy points] and decided to see what it was used for.

[Space energy points:(100): Energy that can only be gotten from using the cultivation skill in the spiritual World. It becomes a second type of energy for the user and allows the user to activate skills. Once depleted the user would have to rest to regain more points or else the user won't be able to use any of his domain abilities. It can only be increased by cultivating in the spiritual World]

There was one question that popped up in John's head whilst he was reading the description. 'Why does every description I read from the system have to be so long.' He was wondering what to do with the points as he currently didn't have any skills other than (Spiritual World) and (Cultivation), just as he was thinking about this the system reacted to his thoughts and gave him a quest to complete for rewards. The rewards weren't clear but the quest was to raise his space energy points to 1000 points. He set it as his goal for today, got into a meditative pose and activated (Cultivation)

He kept cultivating for the rest of the day and when the day was over he checked his system once more before going to sleep. Upon checking the system he realized he only got 100 more points to the space energy reserves that he had. He later found out from his sister that you can only gain a maximum of 100 points everyday and it would stay that way until the next day no matter how hard he tried.

Even though John had been initially happy about getting a domain especially a rare one he quickly found out he had to work hard in order to become as powerful as the domain experts he sees on TV. That also explain why most domain masters were old. He thought that was how his life would be. Wake up every morning to cultivate till 100 points then continue his daily routine till the next day. He didn't want to accept such a thing but he didn't really have a choice.

The next day which was a Sunday he woke up bright and early to go and cultivate in his domain. It only took 5 hours for him to hit the daily limit. He didn't want to accept it just like that and continued the meditation for the rest of the day. His eyes were closed so he didn't see the part of the system named progress was slowly counting forward. At first it was very slow but after the fourth hour it sped up and continued to increase until 10 more hours passed and it was night. He opened his eyes to meet some new changes to the system.

Major changes had occurred to the system which he didn't understand until he got his answer in the form of the system. The first thing he was curious about was the two that appeared near the (Cultivation) skill.

(Cultivation-2: A skill that can only be activated in the spiritual World, it allows the user to obsorb space energy and turns them into space energy points. Level of the skill has increased to 2 due to prolonged usage and has increased the amount of energy the user can cultivate to 1000 per day) John noticed that the description of the skill had changed entirely and he also found out skills have proficiency levels.

The next thing he checked out was the next skill he had unlocked. (Gateway: The user can create portals that can be set to any location he has seen before and can be any size depending on the user's preference and energy points) This skill was the first skill John had gotten that could be used outside of the (Spiritual World) which he wanted to try out but he stopped himself so he could find out about all the changes he received. He checked out a feature he hadn't checked yesterday.

[Progress: This represents the percentage at which the user is close to the next rank]

He also noticed that he was ranked (F) instead of Begginer.

He went back to his room and layed on his bed thinking about the weird thing that happened to his system today. His sister had told him a different story from what had happened. From what his sister said he should have only been able to cultivate 100 energy points but instead he cultivated 1000 and even went up in rank which was the direct contrast of what his sister said.

He stopped thinking after a few minutes and went to sleep.

The next morning he went to school only to find out that school was closed for the week in order to give students time to cultivate. He happily went home and started cultivating to see if what his sister said was true and that the 1000 points was just a boost for everyone.

He went to his room, locked the door and entered his (Spiritual World) which brought him back to his cultivation abode where he then began to cultivate for the next 3 days without rest. After the third day he was looking at his system so happily manly because he got 2 more skills after the Cultivation. He had also gotten himself 4000 energy points. This training speed was impressive but unbeknownst to him and his sister it was in their family bloodline to achieve such cultivation speeds and the sister was in the same predicament he was in, both of them being too scared to tell anyone even each other.

The two skills John had unlocked were

(Spacial Shield: An invisible force field surrounds the user and protects him from damage. The more powerful attacks hit the shield the more energy the user will loose in order to maintain the shield) and

(Shambles: The user is able to control space to a degree where he is able to switch the physical position of any object or person he can see including himself as well as control the objects as if he had telekinesis in a wide area. The heavier the person or object is the more energy is required)

The first thought to pass through his mind was 'How did I unlock such powerful abilities at such a low rank.'
