APTITUDE CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM

On a distant planet very far away from Earth called Clondale. a gigantic floating city that houses 75,000 called APTITUDE CITY stays afloat in the sky. It is nicknamed humanities greatest achievement. Humanities first floating city. The platform is separated into six sections. The biggest platform in the center of the other platforms is simply called Prime. It is the foundation platform that all other platforms are connected to. There are five platforms connected to Prime via a transport and connection systems call acceleration bridges. These bridges allow people to travel from one platform to another. The layout is set in a way that Prime the foundation city which houses 50,000 is connected to the five platforms via five separate acceleration bridges that are not connected to each other in any way. Then from those five platforms two acceleration bridges connect to the platforms left and right of each in a circular motion. The there is a final acceleration bridge that surrounds the whole structure in another circular motion and this one has one branch per one of the five platforms allowing anyone to go from any platform to another platform apart from the center platform. The names of the five surrounding platforms are Outer Banks A B C D E respectively. All each letter holds 5,000 people and act as mini cities connected to Prime the main city. When the entire population of all six platforms are added together you would get 75,000 people. One unique thing about the floating city is that under each of the six platforms there is an acceleration bridge that connects to the ground allowing people to travel to the surface of the planet and back. The whole city is surrounded by an energy shield that is impenetrable as long as it has energy. Then flowing downwards the shield surrounds the acceleration bridges towards the ground in a cylindrical manner. The surface of the planet that the cylinder covers is not bear either as down below directly under the city is another grand city this time on the ground directly under the floating city call Outer banks O. Outer banks O has a 50 meter tall wall that surrounds the base in the same circular motion as the final acceleration bridge around the outer banks. Outer bank O can house 100,000 people.

As the students explored the city filled with state of the art magnificence they were getting more excited by the second. They were told how the school housing and schooling system will work. Outer banks A - E all had a school that would hold 250 students. Every ship that landed held 50 students and every platform other than Prime and outer bank O currently had five ships. The students had a week to explore while things are being set up in the five schools. The system was simple. At the end of every year the five schools would have a competition to see which one had the best students and at the end of every month the five classes that make up a school would have a similar competitions then at the end of every week each team that makes up a class will go on a hunting and exploration competition. While in the new school all old teams are none existing and new ones will need to be formed. Of course people could form teams with their old teammates but usually people create new teams.

The students had different places that they stayed and even though it was a school students were only required to come to school on Fridays. Every student would have a small house with everything essential and the students were given the freedom to leave to explore the planet at will as long as they document their findings and send the information back to the city. There were various different facilities for students who want to do extra studies. You apply for a position for example to a science facility to become a student of that facility and such like that. Students could take quests at outer bank O before they go exploring to earn extra money. Every student is handed 100 Prime credits everyday but it can only buy so much.

Points are awarded to different schools depending on how it's students take the situation being handed to them. It is a learning experience and an experimental experience. One of a kind, this is the first time they are trying such a thing. The special domain users unlike normal domain users are to stay in school for three years before they can leave this planet. The whole thing was amazing and the state of the art facilities made everything just extra. The military was going to milk these students for all they can before releasing them.

"And this is the end of the tour." Professor Winsel said pointing to the giant building in the heart of Prime subcity. "This is the most important building of the city. It is where the world powers meet to discuss humanities future. I hope one day one of you guys will be up there." He finished and decided to take the students back to Outer bank C. Once the he left the children to find out some of the things he didn't include in the tour for themselves. The students immediately started forming groups with their friends and although he wanted to John didn't join his original group but instead formed a new group consisting of Him, Jake, Mickey, Pedro and a friend who Jake later introduced as Coby. Coby was an old student not a late bloomer. With everything set the group started wondering what to do next.
