Turn it to black background for a better experience

Once in a blood moon, On February 29th, the end of February, The doll maker comes out to create a doll like no other in his shop. Not like the dolls he makes everyday but one that overwhelms with human emotion which is close to impossible but not to the doll maker. It's like eating your favorite dessert once every 200 years. Don't ask for the doll maker's age, he won't tell you — like everything else about himself. He gives you information, gives you deals, and gives you...well...treatment for the customers. He rolled up his sleeves and started to get to work. He took pieces and parts from rare places he has been and put them to create the legs, the arms, the chest, the hips, the head. He then added forbidden relics he kept for many centuries. Just for this moment. He wanted this to be an ethereal being. One that even the man upstairs grows envious of wanting to have created such art. He took his time with the eyes, the most out of the whole body. He wanted it to create soothing but destructive emotions in whoever makes contact with them. He then painted brown dots on the doll's eye, nose, lip, cheek, ear, and neck even two on the arm. Moles are a sign of beauty, especially on the eye. He then put cloths of white silk on the doll along with red hair to symbolize the blood moon. The doll maker steps back to admire his work — truly loving it. Was collecting all these relics and using such forbidden material to create this doll worth it? Of course it was. It put all of his other dolls to complete shame. He calls his masterpiece — the blood beauty

Time skip:

It was a very foggy evening and the doll maker wore all black — black tailcoat, black tie, black suit, black boots, even his hair was black but with brown stripes that hung at the top of his head. The only other things that weren't black were the glasses that were hanging on at the tip of his nose and his pale, white skin. It's been four days since he made the Blood Beauty and the doll still hasn't moved...not even once. He sighed thinking about it — Oh well. He went up the old, shallow steps and entered a golden key in the door of a small building that looked like an old book shop that got replaced with dolls.

He stepped inside and closed the door behind him, making a loud squeak. Turning on the lights, he sees all of his beautiful work of dolls. Something caught his eye which was the doll that has the hair of fresh, clean blood. That made the doll his favorite. Also that, even though the doll didn't work the way he wanted it to, he still felt proud of how beautiful his creation was. He turns away and takes off his coat, ending up getting comfortable in his leather chair — Without knowing something, someone was watching his every move. He started to do some paperwork for a little while until he heard the bell ring. He knew who it was...He just didn't want to look up, and continued with his work. "Sir, I'm investigating the disappearance of Milly Neil. I was wondering if you know anything about her." The police... "Milly Neil? You mean that young lady with the daisy in her hair who came by just 3 days ago? Of course I will help! She helped me get customers when I was ill." The deep voice of the doll maker made someone in the room get excited. "Great. Just tell me what happened 3 days ago and I'll be on my way." "Well I was struggling to work and run my shop that afternoon and Miss Neil came in asking if she could help."

"Did she seem off? Sad? Scared?" "No! Not at all. She was very cheerful when she was talking to me and the customers." "I see...well thank you for your help Mr..." The officer waited for the gentleman's name, "Just call me JK." Jk says with a smile. "Alright Mr. Jk, Have a good day." The officer walks out of the shop, making the bell ring. After the officer was out of sight, Jk's joyful, smiling face turned instantly into a cold, dark, and emotionless gaze. He then stood up from his chair and made his way to the back of the store where the supplies closet is located. He opened the door, making a creak noise. There, there was a pool of blood but no body to be seen — only a pure, white daisy. Jk picked up the pretty flower and made his way to one of the dolls, a doll with brown hair, blue eyes, and a dress that was covered in daisy patterns. He put the daisy that was in his hand, in the doll's hair and says, "Oh sweet Milly, you helped me so much with getting customers from how you looked on this shelf. I should say my thanks. I will give you this flower to show it." He then looks up  at the Blood Beauty and smirked, making the light bulb burn out.
