346 Chapter 346

Over the next month, across every plane, with the exception of the HiveTriad plane, there was a research facility constructed. Each with thousands of warrior researchers and hundreds of thousands of mortal researchers.

Everyday, thousands of animals, beasts or mortals were brought in as experiments.

Samuel currently watched as a Low Rank 1 Hog was tied onto an operating table.

It's body was penetrated by thousands of small wires running throughout its muscles measuring the contractions.

''Family Head, we hope to find some information about how the Spiritual Energy within its muscles move around. If possible it could help us estimate how it moves around a warrior's body.''

The hog wasn't the only thing tied down.

There were dozens of warrior beasts, hundreds of mortal beasts and even thousands of humans!

Some might call this inhumane, but honestly Samuel doesn't care about it. Everyday thousands of research papers including graphs, charts and lots of information were being written.

All of these slowly increase the chances of the Lanford Body Refining Skill being developed further!

''Haha this is far from enough! By the end of the year I want a million researchers at each of these facilities!''

Samuel laughed happily.

''Furthermore, contact all those scientific institutes for me. Offer them a large sum of money to come under my control.''

''Hmm, go to Alchemy City. Search the libraries for books that we can afford. Regardless of their genre I want them bought and placed in the Lanford Family library. Then copy them and distribute them.''

Samuel spoke to a slightly balding man beside him.

His name is Toby, one of Samuel's sons. He was only a Low Rank 2 Warrior but over the last month Samuel decided to exchange the Literary Genius talent for him.

''Yes Father.''

Toby bowed slightly and instantly set out to Alchemy city, allowing the others to contact the Scientific Institutes.

''It shouldn't be long before the number of researchers rises to over ten million. But I need something more.''

Samuel tapped his chin, before vanishing from the spot.

Within an hour he arrived at Alchemy city himself. He rushed forward before arriving at the slave market.

''Hello Sir, is there anything specific that you want to purchase?''

A polite young woman stood at the desk and welcomed Samuel.

''Yes. I want slaves that are specifically talented in research and scholarly duties.''

''Of course we have a lot available. Some of the cheaper slaves are the Dubloids, the Mintors and the Buckers. But we also have more valuable slaves like the Goblins and Megaminds.''

''How much?''

Samuel didn't waste time and quickly received a book depicting the information on each race.

In the end he selected three races to purchase. The Dubloids, Goblins and Megaminds.

Dubloids are a Low Level Race, they are incredibly weak physically however they are extremely intelligent.

Even their dumbest members of the race are comparable to those graduated college students from earth.

Luckily they aren't that high in demand. Meaning their price is relatively low. After all, they don't have high physical fitness and their intelligence makes them difficult to subjugate.

The second race is a well known one, Goblins. They are also a Low-Level Race. However they are extremely skilled at developing technology.

Samuel hopes that they can develop some tools for the researchers to further advance the researching process. Or develop some good equipment for the family.

But the downside is, they are a bit more expensive. One Goblin is the same price as ten Dubloids!

However the final race is undoubtedly the most expensive. Megaminds are a Middle-Level Race with low combat power, but an incredible ability.

Their minds can literally split into multiple minds! It allows them to have hundreds of thoughts in an instant and register information at an unbelievable speed.

Even more amazingly, they can multitask easily. They can be reading dozens of books simultaneously and actually register what they are saying.

The stronger they are the more times they can split their minds!

However this makes them incredibly expensive. Each one sells for 100 Spiritual Crystals just for a Low Rank 1 Megamind Slave!

Of course these are highly inflated prices. But it is difficult to find dubloids elsewhere so Samuel has no choice.

''I want one hundred Low Rank 1 Megaminds and one thousand Mortal Megaminds. I also want One hundred thousand Mortal Dubloids and a thousand Low Rank 1 Dubloids. Finally get me 500 Low Rank 1 Goblins and two thousand Mortal Goblins.''

In a second Samuel spent 10,000 Spiritual Crystals for the Warrior Megaminds and One thousand crystals for the Mortal Megaminds.

And another 10,000 Spiritual Crystals for the Mortal Dubloids and one thousand crystals for the Rank 1 Dubloids.

As for the Goblins, Samuel spent 5,000 Spiritual Crystals for the Warrior Goblins and 1,000 Spiritual Crystals for the Mortal Goblins.

Although it was very pricey, Samuel could barely afford it. And in the end it would increase the productivity of the researchers by a massive amount.

And the research can finally deviate from just one body refining technique to more techniques!

Maybe Warrior Skills, or even rare practice techniques can be deduced. If one Practice Skill comes out then it could change the course of the family forever!

Practice Skills are certain skills that warriors can learn to increase their practice speed, or make it focused towards a certain element.

For example a sword based practice skill would increase the speed of a swordsman practice and make their attacks include a faint sword aura!

But their value is infinitely larger than warrior skills. And Samuel has enough Rank 2 Warriors to actually begin developing some.

So what if they can't create them in a normal warriors lifespan, they are Dogs of War! With a potentially infinite lifespan themselves.

Samuel quickly distributed the newly purchased slaves between the research branches and returned to the Family Headquarters.

''System shows me my status.''
