Down Time

A day to relax. They didn’t come often for any of the kids studying at the sect. Too many things happened in such a short time. Ashton got out of bed and took a long stretch.

Without some major event occurring Ash felt a little lost. No upcoming fights or crazy people trying to murder him. He aimlessly walked out his room, and made his way to one of the general areas for eating.

Some nutritious food, and a place to relax seemed just fine for this morning. Having three plates of some mystery meat probably wasn’t the healthiest, but it sure made him happy. His friends had soon joined him, and jokes were made.

Adam received a large sum of grief for being the only one to lose, and Kayman had been forced into the agreement of laundry because he never even fought. Ash caught Maeve walking by, and held her stare for a moment longer than the others were comfortable with.

“ So now you gotta fight her right? “ Kayman spoke as he nudged Ashton.
