9 Tests

We stood on the field, wearing UA blue sports uniform. It was comfortable and unrestrictive, which was saying a lot.

 - Today will be a test of your quirks. - Aizawa said as he stood with his back to us.

As expected, there was an episode like that in the anime. Yes, and the more I am in this world, the more I realise that the butterfly effect did not happen. Though perhaps I haven't yet taken the steps that could have shifted the original plot.

- Attestation?! - Many people interjected out of surprise.

- What about the introduction and referral ceremony? - Ochako asked.

- If you're going to become a pro, forget about those useless things. UA thing is that there are no traditions and it's up to the teachers to decide how to conduct the classes. - he said in a bored tone, looking at us. - You've been doing this since junior high school. Haven't you? - Then he pointed to the phone - Physical exercise without using the quirk The country still sets standards that don't take the quirk into account, education is rotten after all. First place went to the Donquixote. Yes? -he looked at me. - What's your softball score?

- 70 metres. - I answered, knowing exactly what was coming next.

Bakugo's was about 65 metres, as I recall.

- Then now try it with a quirk. - said Aizawa

Nodding, I stood in the drawn circle, holding a baseball in my hands

- Within the circle, do whatever you want. Hurry up and show what you can do.

- All right. - I said, and I stretched my arms a little.

I needed to throw the ball as far as I could. Just in case, I decided to use the will of arms that didn't show up. Then I released the strings and wrapped them around the ball.

 - Fly... - swinging, threw the ball as far as I could. It flew very high.

- This is the most effective way to find out your limits as heroes. From now on, your maximum is 715 metres. - said the teacher, pointing to the phone, which automatically calculated the distance when the ball touched the ground.

- 715 metres... Are you kidding? - said Denki, realising the difference,

- That's it. Interesting. - Mina said cheerfully.

- That's cool. We can use the quirk however we want. - some of us were discussing.

- Cool, you say? Will this mindset last for all three years of training? - Aizawa said grimly. - Well, whoever comes last in all 8 exams will be declared unfit and expelled.

Everyone present except me was shocked by this. Especially Midoriya, who even turned pale. But it's just a joke to get everyone to do their best.

 - Welcome to the heroic UA faculty. - said the teacher, throwing back his hair.

And this energised many people as everyone wanted to show off.

- Excluded on the first day of school? That's not fair. - Ochako replied.

- People have always been unequal and it is the heroes who stand up to that. Woe betide you if you just want to study comfortably. Your life is going to be a living hell.

I wouldn't say that heroes overcome and stabilise this inequality. I mean, if you look at it that way, a lot of people here have well-to-do families.

First test. 50m race.

The pairing was Tenya and Tsuyu, who were in a position as comfortable as possible for the start.

I honestly have no idea how to pace myself. I can only let out strings like a spider man, fasten them to the finish line and push off

In the end, Tenya overtook the girl by three seconds. With his quirk, it wasn't hard.

A few pairs passed and now I was with Bakugo, who was looking at me with a combative look. It would be hard to compete with him, but only with a strong opponent could one improve.

 - One, two... Here we go - the camera robot announced the start.

*Boom*

Katsuki pointed his arms backwards and used a quirk that set off a series of explosions that sent him flying at a high speed.

I, on the other hand, released my sticky threads as planned and pulled on them, causing my speed to increase as well.

- 3 seconds and 40 milliseconds. - said the robot as we came to the finish line at the same time.

I definitely need to be more flexible with my quirk. Because these tests don't test combat skills.

 Test 2. Grip strength.

We were given a dynamometer to measure grip strength. When I grabbed it, I used a bit of khaki so that I wouldn't break it, and so that I wouldn't stand out.

*Beep.

The gauge sounded and read 120kg. I was completely satisfied with the result.

- 540kg? What are you, a gorilla? - I heard a hantu's voice in the background, who was surprised by Mezo's strength. This guy had 4 arms that were quite large, so no surprise there.

Third test. Long Jump.

In general, my threads had a very interesting ability that might surprise many people.

- Hurry up! - Kirishima said to my back.

- Watch and learn. - I answered him by raising my head and looking at the sky. There was a cloud above and that's great.

Threads flew out of my hand and encircled the clouds, making me fly safely over without touching the sand.

- No way

- Oh, my God.

I heard the cheers of my classmates.

Fourth test. Repeated steps to the side.

Here too, by strengthening my legs with khaki, I was able to hop from side to side much faster. There were no problems with this test.

The fifth test. Throwing the ball.

Just like last time, I threw the ball.

However, Uraraka surprised everyone, because after covering the ball with his quirk, it flew away and the device gave infinity. This amazed everyone present.

- Infinity? Awesome. - said the dunks.

It was Midoriya's turn. The guy restlessly stood in a circle and tried to focus.

The moment he wanted to throw the ball, his hand was covered in a quirk, but then nothing happened. Izuku only stared at it in surprise. Until he noticed Aizawa using his quirk on him.

- This grading is undeniably irrational, but you've behaved even worse. - He said, ribbons swirling around him.

- Those glasses... - Izuku said, noticing the teacher's glasses. - You're the Erasure Hero! Your gaze doesn't allow you to use your quirk.

- As far as I can tell you don't know how to use your quirk. Are you going to lie on the ground and beg for help again? - Sotrigolova looked at him with judgement.

His ribbons wrapped around the boy and pulled him to him.

- You've got two tries.

The lad only lowered his head.

- Did he give him any advice? - Tenya asked

- He just lacks control, that's all. - I answered the question.

The bespectacled man only put his hand to his chin.

Midoriya decided something for himself and finally began to act. Lucky for the protagonists, they always find power out of thin air.

He swung and this time only covered his finger with a quirk, causing the ball to break the sound barrier and fly very far away.

- 706 metres. - Aizawa said.

The others, however, looked at the guy in surprise.

- He did it! - said Uraraka

- His finger is swollen. That's a strange quirk. - Tenya voiced his thoughts.

Bakugo looked on with his mouth hanging open. The hedgehog had lost his mind and wanted to lunge at the guy, but I prevented him from doing so by wrapping strings around him.

 - Hey, are you all right in the head? - I said.

- Good thing I didn't have to use my quirk. It gives me dry eyes. - Said the teacher, waving at us. - Don't waste time, follow me.

The next disciplines were bench press, gymnastics and long distance running.

When we finished, we gathered again on the field.

- I will now announce the sum of your scores and your places.

The green-haired one took the last place as it should be, while I managed to keep the first place. Then everyone learnt that no one would be expelled and left.

When I left the academy, I texted Mei beforehand, so that we could go out together and celebrate our entry. The girl met me at the exit. She was really beautiful, though, but she had a few cockroaches in her head, but come on.

The guys were envious when they saw the two of us. Especially the perverted Minoru.

Winking at them, showing the difference between us, I went with Mei to the nearest restaurant. I had enough money, because even in this world, there were plenty of ways to make money.
