Centenary Special - The Life of The Doctor

The Doctor flicks some buttons on the Tardis console.

Kathy walks over and says "so? Where are we headed? Anywhere fun for a change?" The Doctor says "you know what we have to do Kathy-".

Suddenly, a phone starts to ring.

The Doctor looks over at the console and says "but that's-" Kathy then says "a phone? You have a phone?" The Doctor then reaches into the console, and picks up a flip-up mobile phone and he says "well, I thought I'd lost it, it's-" Kathy says "answer it then!".

The Doctor answers the phone and says "hello?".

Kathy stands there staring at The Doctor.

The Doctor then smiles and says "I'll be there".

Kathy looks at The Doctor as he puts the phone down.

Kathy says "Doctor? Who was it?" The Doctor then says "come on, I've got someone you need to meet".

The Doctor pulls the lever, and the Tardis starts to land.

The Doctor steps out of the Tardis and inhales the air.

Kathy steps out and says "isn't this Earth? Are we safe?" The Doctor says "we'll be quick".

Suddenly, UNIT soldiers start to surround The Doctor and Kathy.

The Doctor looks around nervously and says "no...no-".

Kathy says "Doctor?".

A voice then says "it's okay, stand down! THAT'S AN ORDER!".

The Doctor smiles as Martha Jones then steps out and says "Dr. Martha Smith-Jones, UNIT Lieutenant" The Doctor smiles at her "well, is it good to see you again".

The Doctor stands with Martha.

The Doctor says "you know who I am?" Martha nods at him "yeah, I do, but I know people are forgetting, are you working on it?" The Doctor nods at her "yeah, I am" Martha nods at him "good because that's not why I called you-".

Martha then looks at Kathy and smiles "hey there, I'm Martha" Kathy smiles "Kathy, Kathy Yates, Detective" Martha then smiles at The Doctor and says "detective? I like it...also Doctor, nice new face" The Doctor says "anyway, why did you call me?" Martha says "I called you because you've been a little more off-Earth than usual. And I think we need you" The Doctor says "why?" Martha says "come with me".

Martha unlocks a door, into a warehouse, Martha says "we found this here, it's been in storage for...well, we think since the 1800s... we did some tests...and it's definitely yours, but...no owner, well...I don't know where he is".

The Doctor then lays his eyes upon an oldish-looking Tardis, with a St John Ambulance logo on it.

Kathy shakes her head "but it's the Tardis?"

The Doctor says "my Tardis, but...a long time ago, a very long time ago".

Kathy looks at him "how long?".

TWO HUNDRED YEARS EARLIER:

A voice says "now-now-now, that will not do, no, no...definitely not! How outrageous of you to suggest that, might I suggest something a little more subtle...hmm?".

Inside the Tardis, The 1st Doctor stands with a woman who is wearing a Victorian outfit.

The woman says "oh, come on Doctor...there's nothing wrong with what I'm wearing?" The 1st Doctor says "Vicki, you cannot wear that, it's too revealing, we're supposed to be undercover here".

The 1st Doctor steps out of the Tardis, he's inside a warehouse, but the Tardis door then slams shut.

The 1st Doctor shouts "VICKI?".

Inside the Tardis, Vicki bangs on the Tardis door "DOCTOR? Let me out!".

The 1st Doctor stands looking at the door, but he turns around and says "hello? Is anywhere there?".

A laser then zaps The 1st Doctor in the chest, and he falls to the floor unconscious.

CURRENT DAY:

Martha says "any ideas?" The 14th Doctor says "so, The Doctor...my first face is missing? Have you tried to get inside?" Martha shakes her head "it's locked" The 14th Doctor looks at Martha "you have a key" Martha nods "I know, it still wouldn't open".

The 14th Doctor puts his hand onto the Tardis, and he shivers "it's cold, you're right...1800s".

The 14th Doctor pulls his Sonic Screwdriver and zaps the door "you see, the me that had this Tardis, he never carried a Sonic Screwdriver about".

The Tardis door then opens.

The 14th Doctor looks at Martha and Kathy "come on then".

Walking into The 1st Doctor's Tardis, The 14th Doctor looks at the console and smiles "wow, this brings back some memories".

Martha says "so, any ideas then?" The 14th Doctor goes to speak until Vicki then runs out holding a spear and she shouts "GET OUT, GET BACK! WHO ARE YOU?".

The 14th Doctor says "Vicki?" Vicki stares at him "how do you know me?" The 14th Doctor says "I know this is hard to understand, but I'm The Doctor, a future version of your Doctor, where is he?" Vicki stares at him and says "I...I don't know, we got called here, to the 1800s we were going undercover to find whoever needed help, but he stepped out, the doors shut, and I've been trapped for hours" Kathy says "hours? It's twenty-twenty-two?" Vicki stares at her "what?" The 14th Doctor says "it's the Tardis, she saved Vicki, put her in a mini time loop, so she'd survive. Martha, go and get Vicki something to eat and drink" Martha nods "what about you?" The 14th Doctor says "I'll find The Doctor".

As Martha leaves the Tardis, The 14th Doctor looks at Kathy "come on then detective, what do we do first?" Kathy smiles at him "have a look outside? He must've been taken outside if the doors shut behind him?" The 14th Doctor nods "good idea, come on".

Miles away, water drips down a sewage tunnel.

The 1st Doctor sits on the floor.

The 1st Doctor says "I'm getting sick of this! SHOW YOURSELF".

A voice says "I can't, they're all in my head" The 1st Doctor says "who is? Who even are you?".

A man then walks out from the shadows and says "I'm The Eleven. You won't know me yet, but me and you...we go way back! You sent me to prison, I spent years in a cell".

The 1st Doctor says "I don't know who you are, I haven't done it yet, let me go!".

The Eleven charges toward The 1st Doctor and shouts "NO! YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE, WHILST YOU'RE MISSING, OTHER'S WILL COME AND FIND YOU, THEN...I'M GOING TO KILL THEM!".

Back in the warehouse, The 14th Doctor and Kathy search around, looking for clues.

Kathy says "anything?" The Doctor shakes his head "nothing, it's just old stuff".

Kathy looks around and says "what else can we do?" The 14th Doctor says "I don't know, I'm trying to think".

Vicki then stands near the Tardis looking at them, The 14th Doctor looks at Vicki and says "you said you got a distress call?" Vicki nods "yeah?" The 14th Doctor says "let me check it".

Back inside the console, The 14th Doctor presses some buttons on the console, looking through the Tardis database.

The 14th Doctor says "got it!".

Writing then appears, and it says 'we need help, we're dying, please send help, come to these co-ordinates'.

The writing then signs off with a logo.

The 14th Doctor opens his eyes in shock and says "that can't be possible" Kathy says "what?".

The 14th Doctor points his Sonic Screwdriver, and he zaps the doors, shutting them.

Kathy says "DOCTOR?" The 14th Doctor stares at Kathy "he's come back" Kathy shakes her head "who? What does the logo mean?" The 14th Doctor says "It's a not a logo, it's a marking, marking a coalition, called the Doom Coalition, lead by a man...a Timelord...he calls himself after his incarnations, this one, the leader, he's called The Eleven...a Timelord criminal!".

Vicki stands there nervously "so? Where's The Doctor? Is he dead?" The 14th Doctor says "not likely, as I'm still alive, if The Eleven was smart, he'd keep your Doctor alive, it was my past self that caused him to be sent to prison for his crimes, if he kills your Doctor, he'll unwrite everything I've ever done, he'd cause a paradox, unwriting himself too" Kathy says "but we still need to save him, your first face" The 14th Doctor nods at her "I can find him, easily-" Vicki says "then do it" The 14th Doctor says "I don't know what he has planned!" Kathy says "we'll deal with it, every step of the way, but we have to save him" The 14th Doctor nods "right, I just need to do a search for any traces of strong artron energy, that'll be where he is".

The 14th Doctor pulls a lever.

The 1st Doctor looks at The Eleven and says "so? What happens then? Hm? When someone finds us? What do you have planned?" The Eleven says "I have a war planned, a war preparing to be unleashed on this planet, one of your greatest foes, I've agreed to help them cause destruction on this planet, and I get to kill you, the you that remembers what he did" The 1st Doctor says "and you understand that I can't just allow you to cause this destruction, this planet is full of history and full of love" The Eleven says "you won't have a choice".

Suddenly, two grenades appear and explode with a bright light.

The Eleven covers his eyes screaming as he can't see.

Kathy and Vicki run over to The 1st Doctor and help him up.

The 14th Doctor looks over at The Eleven who has been blinded. The 14th Doctor then says "me and you, we have unfinished business, we'll see each other again".

The Eleven screams "DOCTOR! I WILL KILL YOU!".

Running back into the 1st Doctor's Tardis, Vicki and Kathy help uncuff The 1st Doctor.

The 1st Doctor says "thank you, for helping me".

The 1st Doctor turns around and faces The 14th Doctor.

The 1st Doctor says "and I'm assuming you're the one responsible for all of this?" The 14th Doctor says "my past self, not me, but...I will stop this".

The 14th Doctor presses a button on the console and says "right now, let's get ourselves back to safety-" The 1st Doctor says "you fool! There won't be any safety now, he knows you're here! He told me! He would unleash hell on the planet" The 14th Doctor says "he can't, he's not that strong" The 1st Doctor then says "I didn't say he would do it alone" The 14th Doctor stares at him.

Back in the sewers, The Eleven pulls out a radio and presses it.

The Eleven then says "it's time, to kill as many humans as you can!".

The Tardis materialises in the middle of a park.

The Doctor's run out of the Tardis.

Vicki and Kathy also run out of the Tardis.

Vicki says "so? Are we safe?".

Suddenly, massive golden sphere ships start to descend on the planet.

The 14th Doctor stares in shock "no".

Kathy says "Doctor, those ships...I know them!".

The 1st Doctor says "what are they?" The 14th Doctor says "Dalek War Ships" The 1st Doctor stares in shock "Daleks?".

Inside one of the Dalek War Ships, the Silver and Gold Supreme Dalek then shouts "EXTERMINATE THE HUMANS!".

Silver and Black Daleks start to emerge from the golden sphere ships, and they start to shoot down at everyone.

The 14th Doctor says "we only have a small amount of time before they kill everyone in the country! We need to stop The Eleven!" The 1st Doctor says "and do you have any plans on how we can do that?" The 14th Doctor says "get me to my Tardis, there's only one way I can think of".

The Eleven walks up some stairs and he smiles as Daleks shoot down at the people in England.

The Eleven takes another step until he hears a Tardis materialising.

The Eleven turns around and sees The 14th Doctor's Tardis materialise.

The 14th Doctor steps out of the Tardis and says "I'm here" The Eleven smiles "finally" The 14th Doctor says "I've been pretty busy the last twenty minutes, you've got about five minutes to talk, then...that's it".

The Eleven smiles "I think you'll find I'm the one in charge now Doctor. I have a lot to say to you, after all the stuff you've put me through" The 14th Doctor says "you deserved it, you are a very dangerous person, but...I wanna try and help you" The Eleven laughs "help? I don't want any help from you" The 14th Doctor says "me and you, that makes four of us, me...you, The Master, and The Rani. The last four known Timelords in existence. Gallifrey is gone, the Timelords are gone, you can come with me, I can save you" The Eleven looks at the sky and says "I don't need saving, the world I'm currently in, is more than beautiful to me" The 14th Doctor sighs "you're just like The Master" The Eleven says "I'm nothing like that psychotic idiot!".

The 14th Doctor says "so? You don't want my help?" The Eleven smirks "not even if I was dying".

The 14th Doctor takes a step back and says "I thought you might say that, I'm sorry".

The Eleven stares at The Doctor "for what?" The 14th Doctor says "I told you, I've been busy". The Eleven screams at The 14th Doctor "what have you done?" The 14th Doctor says "I reported you for war crimes!". The 14th Doctor smiles.

Suddenly, Judoon then appears behind The 14th Doctor.

The Eleven stares in shock "no! Not again".

The Judoon captain says "you have been found guilty of war crimes, you will be taken for questioning".

The Eleven looks at the 14th Doctor and says "I will be back...someday" The 14th Doctor nods at him "yeah, but not for a while".

The 14th Doctor watches as The Eleven disappears with The Judoon.

The Eleven's radio then falls onto the floor.

The 14th Doctor picks it up and he says "hello Daleks, this is The Doctor, The Eleven's just been stopped, now if you wanna live, you'll leave, or I'll stop you...just like I stopped him".

The 1st Doctor, Kathy, and Vicki walk out of The 14th Doctor's Tardis.

Kathy looks up at the sky and she watches as The Daleks all start returning to their ships.

The 1st Doctor smiles and says "well, look at that...you won" The 14th Doctor says "we won".

Moments later, Martha walk over to them as a UNIT vehicle is parked up nearby.

Martha says "is it over?" The 14th Doctor says "it's never over, you should know that Martha" Martha smiles "thank you for coming by the way, you saved the world...again" The 14th Doctor says "yep, I'll see you again hopefully, some day" Martha smiles at him "bye Doctor".

The 14th Doctor looks at The 1st Doctor "right then, want me to take you to your Tardis?" The 1st Doctor says "actually, I think me and Vicki will explore this year...I can't really remember what happens around now" The 14th Doctor smiles "you're in for a treat then".

Kathy smiles "see you later".

The 14th Doctor smiles "see you".

The Doctor and Kathy stand around the console as it's in flight.

The Doctor looks at Kathy and he smiles. Kathy says "what?" The Doctor says "nothing, just...I'm glad you're with me" Kathy nods at him "me too".
