Chapter 92

　　Javon's POV

　　I didn't plan to hide it from Cora when I received Patricia's call at night. I knew she was listening. But it didn't matter.

　　Actually, it was me who called Patricia first. I hung up before she answered the phone so that she would have to call me back.

　　I didn't think I could hide it from Cora forever. She would find out sooner or later. I just hadn't figured out how to let her know in a suitable way that wouldn't hurt her feelings to me. That was what I was concerned about most.

　　After finishing the phone call, I went to the kitchen to have a glass of water. On the one hand, I implied to her that I had finished the call, so she didn't have to wait anymore. On the other hand, I did want to take a breath after talking to Patricia. Her voice always made me uncomfortable.
