In this book, Earth is a futuristic Dystopian world where nine out of ten people were something called an Awakened.
This is my only book which is DIRECTLY a few hundred thousand years after the events of Unholy Warlock.
An Awakened, is an extraordinary person who has something called a mana core, a translucent crystal orb that allows the holder to harness Life Energy, which they could then use to manifest various abilities.
Be it elemental like fire or water, or enhancing like speed or strength.
A person can only awaken, not transcend like in Unholy Warlock.
But a person can possess more than one Mana core, the highest being a guy who will appear much, much later into the book, called Valen with ten cores complete.
A person with one core is merely called an Awakened Human.
One with two, An Awakened Knight.
One with three, An Awakened Lord
One with four, An Awakened King.
One with five, An Awakened Legend.
One with Six, An Awakened Beast.
One with Seven, An Awakened Monster.
One with eight, An Awakened demigod.
One with nine, An Awakened Sovereign.
One with ten, An Awakened Transcendent..
However, no one save a soldier called Valen had ever reached the Awakened Transcendent level.
The Unfriendlies
The Unfriendlies are a race of powerful Bloodthirsty beasts that looked like a crossbreed between a human and a rhinoceros.
They had human like heads with a sharp horn in their foreheads, one eye, extremely broad human chests, arms as thick as a man's torso and stood at a staggering eleven feet tall.
However, they also had unprecedented power and technology that surpassed human weapons by over a million years ahead.
The Unfriendlies, however also have mana cores that they use to manifest abilities.
One with one core is called An Unfriendly Monster
One with two, an Unfriendly Demon
One with three, an Unfriendly Devil
One with Four, an Unfriendly godSlayer.
The Unfriendlies cannot handle more than four cores.
All the Unfriendlies are led by an Unfriendly Demon as their commander as the higher levels did not see humans strong enough to pose a mild problem.
