Miriam kept battling with the water because of the cloth she wore until she finally found herself out of the swimming pool. She stood at the other end of the pool soaked and cold yet nobody seemed to notice she was even there. 'Chris… Chris… my child… I don't want to lose my child Chris. This baby is the only memory of your late brother that I have left" Louise cried as she held on to Christopher ever tightly. 'You're going to be fine. And if anything happens to you, I'll make whosoever responsible to wish they weren't born," Chris replied as he carried Louise into the mansion living room while waiting for the doctor's arrival.

Chapter 35

MIRIAM'S POV

I couldn't really tell when I slept off in his arms but as usual, I found myself in my room, well laid and covered on the bed.

There was no one around when I woke up this morning, unlike yesterday when I had guards around me like I was going to get hurt from even sleeping.

I got off the bed and hurried to the bathroom because I was incredibly pressed and I am not sure I woke up at night to ease myself. As soon as I was done, I felt a little bit of relief but it seemed like this baby was sitting right on my bladder.

I came out of the bathroom without having my bath,I was actually too lazy to bathe. I just felt like going to bed again and sleeping all day but that would not be a good idea. I have a lot in my hands already and I was beginning to get things in check and more under my control.
