Chapter 14 : Escape at the price of thousand life's

Sam went inside the cave and started to move inside the cave it could fit 10 people easily and was quite wide, but before entering he called thunder back as there might be some danger,

after running for 5 minutes he saw there was a light coming for the other end of the cave he walked for another 2 minutes and saw a huge space with was untouched and never been discover there were no beast around but a lot of trees and a good water source , Sam sent thunder

to investigate the area thunder was back in 2 minutes which meant that it was atleast 30 kilometers huge as thunder didn't go much deeper.

Sam told thunder to used thunder bolt and made a clean area without any trees around for people to stand there, Sam got red, void , brown and black to come out and stand guard if any unnecessary things happens as for thunder he was called back and void was asked to mark this location and he was also called back.

Sam opened a portal in the basement which shocked everyone even 2 elders who were forcefully brought back, he summoned thunder to stand guard near the door and asked void to open a portal at the other location voids portal was 30 meters in height while Sam's portal was 5 meters in height , after things were set Sam said in loud an clear voice.

" Everyone I know this will be hard on my people, I too share the same pain with you as my grandfather is also fighting there and he is also my only blood relative left in this world, please enter this portal and it will take you to a safe space". as soon as they heard this ajax was the first to enter as he can handle the crowd there with Alice next were the kids who went inside following women almost all the people went through the portal only 200 remained all were the the people selected by Sam.

Sam looked towards them and asked " why are you guys still standing here move out",

They replied " chief we would like to stay and fight till our last breadth".

listening to this sam frowned " do you guys think this is a joke, if you guys perish here what will happen to those 10,000 people who just went through the portal who will protect the new village ".

after listening to his words they couldn't day a word and started entering total process took about 25 minutes . Sam turned and looked towards the 2 elders and said " I hope you guys don't make a foolish choice here and move to the other location I know it is very hard to leave bit think about the next generation of people".

both the elders also followed inside the crowd and went through the portal and he saw no one was around he closed the portal recalled void and thunder and teleported outside in a few jumps he reached the main village gates while only blood and dead bodies could be seen , seeing this scene Sam's heart ached all the heros lost their life to protect our village , but soon Sam realized that in front of him around 6 kilometers away 2 beast were fighting but it was a one way fighting bloody jaguar had already lost 2 of his hind legs and on the brink of death , he also saw John who had lost one of his arm and was kneeling on the ground Sam teleported 2 kms away from them and shouted grandpa Everyone has evacuated , let's go you don't need to fight anymore.

seeing Sam safe and sound John had a smile on his face and that everyone was evacuated he replied to sam " Sam my time is up , thank you for protecting my dignity I hope I can repay you in next life".as John finished his works and together jumped with bloody jaguar on the dragons face and self destructed , loud growls of pain could be heard as dragons eyes were lost and Sam in a distance was shouting " grandpa noo" but before he could complete the sentence it was already over, Sam opened the portal and vanish from the battle scene.

other places in savana region almost 90% of the villages were defeated only few survivors were left from these villages and other who survives also had many casualties.

Behind the water fall :

as everyone saw Sam they were quite happy to see their leader returned , in everyone's heart he had already achieved the leaders position and had enough extraordinary powers, as soon as Alice saw Sam come through the portal she jumped and hugged him and said In a low voice while crying " don't ever scare me again like that I thought u will never return to me ",

he patted her head and move away and went towards a huge rock and climbed up .

" everyone I want to keep a 2 minutes mourning silence for those great souls who have lost their life for us and our future, I have witnessed my grandfather the current chief of the village sacrifice himself in front of my eyes and blinded that dragon, today I Sam take a pledge to avenge all those lost souls in future when I'm powerful enough".

after this everyone was silent for 5 minutes.

again they heard Sam's voice

" I need all the 304 men and women here including the elders , we will divide into the team of 9 and search this whole area I need 30 people to stand guard near the entrance of the cave and I need rest of the 90 people to go 20 kms east and build a base there make a perimeter of 5 kms and my tamed beast brown will help you guys make the house as per your requirement, elder Adam and elder trinity I need you guys to lead the way and please make sure to make a underground warehouse and above there should ebe awakening ground please instuct brown he will help to make the exact design and don't worry about food and water ,

there is a water source 30 kilometers in the same direction and I will provide the food ".

listening to this all the people moved out and the only kne standing on the open was Sam with tears filled in his eyes , he had held back all this time , but the pain to lose a close person is not to be handed off so lightly.
