21 Time to make a decision.

At this moment,in present time

Alex is owner of Raser's body. For the time being.

That aside, how bizarre is the fact that a rituals can connect two separate existences from different worlds?

It was even more difficult to digest the fact that a ritual performed by random individuals was the cause of his transmigration.

Moreover, every ritual has a specific purpose attached to it, and the Absolute Transfer ritual's intent was to completely transfer Raser's disease to an unknown being like Alex.

But there was one thing that scratched his nerve – a question and curiosity about:

"Why is Alex still here when that purpose is finished?"

Raser's disease is already cured, which means he should have been healthy and walking around.

Unknowingly he started to recollect the moment of enlightenment; he had seen a dark spirit attached to the physical body. Through that, he was able to decipher the reason.

Alex remembers something glowing, travelling from his spirit body to Raser.

That means the transfer is still happening, where qualities from his healthy spirit body are transferring into Raser's shrunken infected spirit curing it in process.

What would happen when that is complete?...

He didn't have to guess for more, already familiar with the result: if he didn't do something, his spirit's fate would be the same as his physical body.

At the end he Will cease to exist.

For a moment, he did nothing, like every second around him stopped, and then in the next breath, his eyes widened in realization. Goosebumps started to erupt, engulfing him in an uncanny wave of terror.

"Oh, fuck," he breathed out the mere thought of the result generated an agonizing wave of fear in his psyche.

He buried his face in his hands, trying to block distressing thoughts.

Why? Just why?

One moment, he was lying on the bed, happily enjoying his good night's sleep, and the next day, he was here, amid this hell.

Right now, his physical body is dead in his world. He is sure his parents have entered his room, witnessing his corpse on the chair.

That's because of what? A ritual.

He had lost his family because of a stupid ritual.

Furthermore.

If he leaves things as they are, it won't be long before his existence is also erased.

He can't let that happen. It may not be his chance, but he won't accept things as they are.

No way in hell will he let that happen.

"I have to stop it, but... to kill Raser's spirit?"

That's the only solution that he could think of, but he can't do it.

How can he take the life of a person like Raser, who is a good-natured individual, selfless, always helping everyone without expecting anything in return?

He's a perfect Shonen protagonist – an orphan with a secret background and hidden powers like the mark of the trinity.

Most of all, he seems to have plot armour with him.

Why can't he give up his body to him? Just think about it, Alex had already sacrificed his body.

Wasn't it Raser's time to do the same for Alex?

Does he have to resort to unthinkable deeds like murder?

If he removes Raser's spirit, every trace of his existence will disappear. That's basically a form of killing, isn't it?

"Fuck."

"But..." he whispered,

"If I don't detach Raser's spirit, I-l die."

A battle surged within his mind – a war on one side justifying Raser's act his siblings had unknowingly sacrificed Alex so their loving younger brother could survive.

On the other side of Alex's mind lies his own life.

He closed his eyes, trying to Balance out the tormenting thoughts.

"But they didn't know," he said acknowledging Thomson and Shilla's act.

"They were desperate, just like me." his voice was barely audible.

Scenes of Raser's life and the lady's tragic end replayed, with images of his family, memories of his life before this twisted ritual.

His heartbeat echoed in his ears as he tried to reconcile the moral dilemma he faced. The triangle in his eyes continued its rotation, a testament to the turmoil within his soul.

Each frame etched the weight of the decision that lay ahead.

*Knock, knock.*

The knocking on the door echoed like a distant drum, blocking Alex's turmoil; it was like an reminder to make a decision.

He stared at the door with a clear head.

"Brat, come out."

The voice pushed him into his decision, blocking one side and allowing other thing to echo in his mind.

Suddenly rising from the bed, he started walking toward the door.

His steps were heavy,

Step step step...

He approached the door.

"If I want to survive," his verdict resonated in dark room carrying a weight akin to mountain pressing down on Alex, stifling his breath.embodying The time restraint he face.

For him Each second feels like an eternity as his life and Raser's hang in the balance.

The weight was unbearable, Alex can no longer take it an grapple with it.

FInally taking a deep breath he announced his decision.

"I will kill Raser."

Now, when Raser and his siblings ruined his life in his world, there is no way he would let anyone do the same in this one.

***

Ouside, the house, amidst the howling of serene wind and morning sunlight that permeated the surroundings.

Alex stood in front of the door, seeing Thomson and Shilla in front of him, Witnessing their faces reminded him of the time restriction he faced while bearing conflicted emotions he pondered and understand the weight of his decision

His survival mean Raser death and sibling loss of younger brother but irony was here They had also sacrifice Alex and separated him from his own family although they are unaware of it..

Thomson raised his arm, handing sunglasses to Alex. "You really don't have any problem going with him?" His eyes landed on Dev.

Alex nodded and accepted the glass from Thomson's hand

His face now expression less it was difficult to understand what was running in his mind.

Alex wore the sunglasses and released a breath.

"Ah."
