Chapter 3: Arriving At Konoha [EDITED]

Before the sun could even come out, Ayuna already moved and started his travel back to Konoha. Base on his current speed, he guess that he would arrive in 2 days. 

While jumping from trees to trees, Ayuna analyzed his body more truly. As expected, his chakra capacity was at Genin level and his chakra control was average. So using the free time he had, Ayuna decided to train his chakra control. 

He quickly grabs some leaves and started trying to stick it to his forehead after removing his forehead protector. 

As he was constantly moving, Ayuna was having a hard time sticking the leaf into his forehead. However, Ayuna did not stop and try it again and again. 

In the 47th try, Ayuna successfully stick a leaf in his forehead for a few second before he lost concentration. 

Elated by his progress, Ayuna started trying again. And after 2 hours, Ayuna can finally stick a leaf without it getting blown. 

As Ayuna always stop to rest every 30 minutes, he noticed the difference when sticking a leaf while running and while staying still. He could actually stick almost 3 leaves when staying still. Sadly, he did not have the luxury to train while staying still as he needed to go back to Konoha immediately lest he got ambushed and killed by ninjas from other villages. So he had no other choice but to practice while jumping and running. 

This is not without advantage. At least he can increase his chakra control more quickly while doing this. 

= 1 Day Later =

Ayuna was already near Konoha and by tomorrow, he would arrive. He was currently resting in another hidden spot to rest. He already ate his dinner and was looking the clear night sky. 

After a while, he grabs a kunai from his pocket and started slicing some parts of his body. He put a long wound on his shoulders, small wounds in his cheek and other places, and a medium sized one in his flat stomach. He make sure to that it looks he was attacked. 

Ayuna did it without changing his expression. As if he was cutting another person and not himself. After that, he grab some dirt and smeared it on his wound and make sure that it will induce infection. 

As for why he was doing it? It's for deception. He was the only survivor from the team tasked to protect the supplies and it will raise suspicion if he came back only having scratches. Plus he was a mere Genin. All of the large and fatal wound this body suffered previously was already healed by the old god and he only left the bruises and scratches. 

Done cutting himself, Ayuna start resting to gain back some strength. Not minding the dirty wounds in his body that was constantly bleeding.

The next morning, Ayuna feel bad. It was definitely from the infection. The cuts were constantly hurting and when Ayuna checked it, he saw some maggots and other insects in his wounds. 

"Yuck!" Ayuna shiver in disgust before he started traveling once again. He already ate ration pills so he was not hungry. 

While traveling, Ayuna let himself get cut by sharp branches to make his act more believable. 

He did not forget his chakra control training and started sticking leaves in his forehead. 

He made sure that when he arrived at Konoha, he will be on the verge of chakra exhaustion by using the 3 Academy Jutsu like Clone Jutsu, Substitution Jutsu, Transformation Jutsu.

After the four full hours of running and jumping without rest, Ayuna was finally near Konoha. 

He started slowing down and makes unnecessary movements. His expression changing from indifference to tiredness and slight relief. If you did not see him a while ago, you would think that he was really a ninja that luckily escaped death. 

Ayuna knew that he have a high chance meeting Leaf Ninjas patrolling so he started his acting already. 

Ayuna's guess was right and in a minute, 3 ninjas arrived in front of him. Two man and 1 woman. One of the male ninja was from the Hyuga Clan while the other two are from Aburame Clan and Uchiha Clan respectively. 

'What a weird combination.' Ayuna thought before acting shocked by the sudden appearance of the ninja. Moments later, he sighs in relief after recognizing that they are from the same village. 

"Who are you?" The man from the Hyuga Clan ask with a hard voice. The other two did not speak but they were ready for battle if needed. 

"I-i'm not an enemy. I'm Ayuna Rotasu, a Genin tasked to p-protect and deliver the supplies to the Iwagakure along other ninjas. We were ambushed and I'm the only one who escaped alive." Ayuna immediately answers while stuttering. 

"Stop him from doing any action. We'll bring him to the village for interrogation." The Hyuga Clan member commanded the Aburame Clan member. 

The Aburame Clan member started making handsigns but he was interrupted when Ayuna suddenly falls down the tree, unconscious. 

The three ninja immediately arrived under Ayuna and break his fall. The Hyuga Clan member opens his Byakugan to analyze Ayuna's body. 

"Large wound in his arm, small cuts and bruises probably from branches, and a medium sized wound on his stomach. All with infections. Aside from that, he was very low on chakra." The Hyuga Clan Member said while looking at Ayuna's whole body. 

"Infections? Ha! Don't tell me he don't know how to use chakra to prevent his wounds from being infected?" The Uchiha Clan member laughed mockingly after hearing the Hyuga's analysis. 

"It seems he's a Genin. Maybe because of his low chakra capacity, he can't stop the infection. Plus, he was running for his life." The Aburame Clan member said, his expression neutral and indifferent. 

The Uchiha Clan member just snorted in dissatisfaction. But she didn't argue because she knew that it may really be the reason. 

The Aburame Clan member started making handsigns once again. 

"Insect Art: Insect Lock." Insects started flying from his sleeves and covered Ayuna's whole body except his face then it started floating. 

"Let's go!" The Hyuga Clan member said before jumping from trees to trees again. The two other ninja followed behind him quickly. 

30 minutes later, they finally arrived infront of Konoha. The guard knowing their identity, he immediately let them enter. 

They headed straight to the Konoha Hospital. Some medic ninjas immediately analyze Ayuna's body after the insects was removed. 

They put Ayuna in a stretcher and brought him to get treated.
