"Now, before you die, mind telling me your name?" Henry asked as his dagger sliced Nico's right arm. He was now confident that he could easily defeat Nico as long as he dodged his chains, but who knew that it was his biggest mistake?

As soon as Henry played the same trick again, a grin formed on Nico's face. He closed his eyes, focusing his energy in one place. "Spiritual domain!" He shouted. In just a few seconds, a large sphere-like structure covered the entire third floor. It was made out of spiritual energy, controlled by Nico.

"Looks like you can't rely on your guards anymore. Now then… let's begin?" As he finished his sentence, Henry appeared in front of him, only a few inches of gap between their bodies. It seemed impossible to dodge as Henry swiftly aimed his dagger at Nico's throat with a smirk.

As the dagger almost reached Nico's throat, only a few moments away from piercing it, Nico disappeared. "Huh?!" Henry jumped back in shock. He couldn't believe just how monstrous Nico's reaction speed was. 'What kind of monster is this?!' He thought.

"Hmhm~" Suddenly, Henry whipped around as he heard a humming sound from behind, and at that moment, Nico's body became visible again, standing right behind Henry. "Hah, gotcha!" Wrapping his chains around Henry's neck, Nico pulled him down to the ground.

He stomped his feet on Henry's chest, making it difficult for him to breathe. "Ugh!" Henry cried in pain. He struggled to get up, trying to take Nico's leg off his chest, but to no avail. Nico was applying too much pressure and Henry couldn't handle it anymore.

He started coughing violently. He picked the dagger up from the ground, stabbing Nico's leg. "Argh!" Nico groaned as he felt the sharp pain in his leg. The dagger cut deep into his skin, making it hard for him to walk.

Henry took the chance and quickly got up, sending another dagger flying at Nico. "Die!" He shouted, coughing up some blood. Nico noticed the projectile coming at him and dodged it, jumping to his left.

Quickly healing his wound, Nico sent his chains flying at Henry. "You're the one who'll die!" He swiftly controlled the chains, dodging Henry's attacks. He spread the chains all around Henry's body, and with just one slight pull, the chains got tighter. Henry's body couldn't move anymore. He was completely immobilized, trapped in the grip of chains.

His eyes widened in shock as he realized the situation he was in. "Ugh!!" He struggled to break free from the grip of the chains, but they only got tighter. "What kind of magic is this?!" He stopped his futile efforts to escape, realizing the nature of the chains.

"Who sent you?! You can't be any normal magician…! You know every kind of magic, how is that even possible?!" Henry shouted, enduring the intense pain.

"Haha, it's nice seeing you struggle… You should know how my mom felt at that time." Nico picked the dagger from the ground, touching its sharp edge with his fingertip.

"You wanna know who I'm… right? Do you remember an innocent boy, his mother, and a dog? Do you remember me? I am Nicolas." Sadness was visible on Nico's face as he talked about his family.

Henry's eyes widened in disbelief as he heard those words. "A-are you Nicole's son… Nicolas?!" He stuttered as he asked. Not in his wildest dreams could he have thought that the kid had survived for centuries. "No! You can't be alive!" His body trembled.

"Well, it's up to you whether to believe me or not, but I'm Nicolas, and you're dying today- oh, wait… I have a better idea." A wide grin formed on Nico's face as he dragged Henry's body away from the place, deactivating his spirit domain.

"Argh! Help!" Henry shouted out loud, but before the guards could come and see what was happening, Nico had already disappeared with Henry.

Daniel finished his meal before heading upstairs. He plopped on the bed and checked his phone. "I hope the earnings are good…" he prayed before he opened the auction site.

"Woah! Just one sword was sold for so much money?! Selling the Inuzuma sword was worth it!" He was surprised by the big amount he gained from selling an epic grade item.

He suddenly received a notification that gained his attention. He clicked on it and got redirected to the forum site of Divine Path. On the top, there were many hot topics of the day, but the one that stood at top made Daniel raise a brow.

"Huh?! New epic grade weapon they say? I wonder what it is…" Excitedly, he clicked on the article page. After reading the first few lines, he scrolled down.

[And the name of the weapon is… 'Inuzuma Sword'!]

"What the hell?! Isn't that the sword I just auctioned?!" He got up from the bed, reading the name again. "Ah, this explains why it was sold for such a large amount!" He joyously closed his phone and walked to the gaming capsule. "Time to log-in!"

"Haah!" Daniel got up from the ground and patted Lumi's soft head. She was resting on his chest. She woke up, opening her small eyes, looking at her master.
