CHAPTER 1

It was February 15, 2005, the alarm bleared, and Gabriel's eyes flew open, no way, it can't be morning already'. He moaned as he reaches across the bed and grabs the clock off the bedside table, man it was six already. He closed his eyes, as memories from the night before flash through his mind. He celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday. He had a beach party in the day starting from 2.00 pm then leave from there to a hopping night club where he partied until four this morning. Girls were everywhere, left, right, and center, even the girls that were there with their guys had their eyes on him. a smile crease the corner of Gabriel's mouth when even more memories flood his mind, memories of hooking up with more than one girl, around the back of the club, in the bathroom, in his car, in the parking lot and of course the one he hooked up with at the beach, now she was a beauty. He remembered drinking Appleton and Pepsi then black ice he then went on to drink champagne and god knows what else, and of course, his favorite, popping pills.

Easing out of bed Gabriel went to the bathroom and turned on his shower, making sure the water was well cold he stepped in and let the water run over him. This is what he needed right now to get him going. He had a busy day ahead of him. He grabs a towel and steps out of the bath and as he was passing the mirror he stopped, with all that he had been through in life he should have aged ten years but he didn't, he looked pretty good for thirty if he should say so himself, and at the pace, he has been going the years has really been good to him, at 5ft-8inc, a 190lbs of pure muscles, broad shoulders and sporting a very sexy set of six-pack. Getting attention from the ladies hasn't been hard for him ever since he was in middle school. Why; his parents were from Italy they moved to Miami a long time ago, started their own business and a family. His parents were in the oil business, and with the profits, they lived a very wealthy life. They only had two sons, him and his brother Gabe.

He and his brother were identical twins, but man was they different, while his brother was humble, soft-spoken, and always take the safest way out of every situation. Gabriel was rough, hardcore, harsh, and very insulting at times. He couldn't remember ever hearing his brother say a bad thing about anyone, but Gabriel had a very colorful vocabulary. Getting dress Gabriel stared at his self in the mirror and saw his brother staring back at him, that happened to him all the time, every time he looks in the mirror he sees the face of his brother.

They were both born with blond hair, blue eyes, straight nose, and lips that make the girl's mouth water, a very lethal combination. Running the comb through his hair Gabriel remembered when he and his brother used to wear their hair down their backs, he now wears his at the nape of his neck, just above his shoulders. A sharp pain gripped Gabriel's chest and he turns away from the mirror, He went back to his bedroom grab his briefcase and jacket, and ran downstairs. Memories of his brother were always painful. He remembered it like it was yesterday, he was seventeen years old; Gabe went to the library to study while Gabriel stayed home and played video games with his friends. On his way home he stopped at a pharmacy to get some bug spray for the camping trip they were supposed to go on that summer.

A lone gunman held up the pharmacy, rob the cashier, and then rob and shot his brother, he died on the spot. They never did find that guy and he lost his brother. After that Gabriel felt lost, alone, and angry so he turned to alcohol. Alcohol helps for a little while but he needed something stronger so he turns to steroids. Not much just a little something to get him through classes, but as if that wasn't enough, he hadn't suffered enough, when he was twenty-one his parents went to England for a vacation, he guessed they just wanted to get out of the house for a while.

They had taken his brother's death very badly. It almost destroyed them, but they survived, they leaned on him for strength, they also leaned on each other. He leaned on alcohol, Alex, and drugs. They had left him in their hotel room and went for a drive together, there was a lot of ice on the road it so happened that they lost control of the car, it skidded off the road and crashed, they died while undergoing surgery. After the funeral, he sold the business, sold the house, his car, and left Miami.

He had an Aunt in Jamaica, he and his brother used to come here to her when they were younger, but as they grew older they lost interest. He remembers her being at his brother's funeral and then at his parents. She told him that if he ever needed anything he should call her, and so he did. When he got to Jamaica he lived with her for a few months, she lived in Montego Bay, he traveled with her a few times when she came to Kingston and he liked what he saw. So he decided to buy a house in Kingston, and he did.

A beautiful two-story mansion and he spend the next few months fixing it the way he wanted it. Grabbing his car key Gabriel left the house, got in his car, and pulled out of his garage. Just then his phone rang, picking it up he saw that it was his best friend Alex. Alex Anderson is otherwise known as double A. "yea" "Hey prince you up yet?" "Yeah I'm up. I'm on my way to your house right now". "O man". Alex groaned." I'm just dragging myself out of bed so let yourself in when you get here okay.". "Okay". Gabriel said ending the call. He remembered the first time he met Alex, it was his first day of high school, and his parents had taken him and his brother in for registration. Gabriel and his brother were sitting in the hall while his parents spoke to the principal, Alex came over to them introduced himself and they start talking. Right away Gabriel realizes that Alex was a lot like him, rough and hardcore.

Gabriel notices that he wasn't bad looking either at 5ft, 6inc, a little shorter than Gabriel, short black hair, and very dark eyes. Ever since that day he and Gabriel were inseparable, in school and out. Gabe wasn't that interested in Alex, he spoke to him whenever he was around but that was the extent of his friendship.

Alex has been there for him through everything, sorrow, pain, joy, everything. When his brother died Alex was there. He could always count on him; Alex was the only one who knew that Gabriel was drinking and popping pills, he didn't judge him he just supported him and that meant a lot to Gabriel. When he went to England with his parents Alex wasn't able to go with him because he had an exam, but on the night of his parent's accident he called Alex and he was on the next flight to England.

Alex had stuck with him through everything so when Gabriel decided to move to Jamaica Alex was okay with it and came along with him. Coming to Jamaica and living with his aunt Alex was there, going into Kingston with her Alex was there. He didn't think he could have gotten through all he did without Alex.
