The moment she entered in, she was backlashed by the roar of voices. "50,000 is the largest bid for the white silk scrolls!! Anyone one else for the highest bid?" shouted a heavenly Supreme. "I bid, 55 000!!" shouted another. "No! I bid. 60 000" continued another one and so on. "No way! Throw everyone aside I bid, 100 000!" shouted a girl. Xianwu instantly realised it was Meizhen's voice "After all being the wealthiest in the Heavenly city… is no joke!" Xianwu thought proudly. Voices rang in her mind like drums as she sighed. "Looks like it weren't only the rumours, they did really assign auctions in the group transmission…" Xianwu thought with a deep sigh.

"Hello?" she called. "Anyone? Could you tell me about the Silent city and the human eating corpses?" Xianwu asked. However, on the other hand she thought she might have rudely barged in their joyful conversation when everything went silent after the words she spoke. "Hun...?" Xianwu thought anxiously. "Everyone listen up! The white silk scrolls are sold to Lady Jiu Meizhen!!" said the same heavenly supreme. "Next! Next! What is the next item?" called the others. Xianwu stood puzzled. "What the heck happened? Was I literally ignored?!" she thought baffled.

"Well whatever… I can't change their mind if they don't like me…" she thought and Just as she was about to leave the transmission Shashou's voice flooded her mind "Xianwu, what are you talking about in such a vast transmission?! Jump to my individual transmission." He said. "Okay…" Xianwu replied in her mind immediately jumping into the private transmission. "Brother Shashou, I was just asking about the Silent city and the human eating corpses…" Xianwu repeated her question.

"What did you want to ask about it?" Shashou inquired. "No. nothing much. Emperor Zhijun talked to me about it yesterday, I just wanted to ask how it's going?" Xianwu replied. "It's still being worked on. In spite the fact, it's my biggest hassle right now. I haven't slept for a week now working on it." Shashou said. Even though, Xianwu couldn't see his expression right in front of her, but, his voice told his present condition clearly.

"Xianwu, didn't the emperor tell you that Mo Xingchen is in charge of this case. You don't have to worry about it…" he assured her. "I wasn't worried at all… it's just that I encountered Human eating corpses, on the spirit sealing mountain today. I was just worried the village might be in danger. How about I go take a look?" Xianwu asked. "Is this true?!" he asked in disbelief. Xianwu hummed in response. Meanwhile, Xianwu pulled the barrel out of the spring filling it up. "Xianwu… aren't you at the inferno city right now? What are you doing in the mortal world?" he asked instead.

Xianwu froze for a moment. "Haha…" Xianwu tried to giggle. "I-I decided not to live there… don't worry I'm fine! Please just don't tell anyone about it. Kindly keep it a secret" She requested. Shashou became silent. "I really just wanted to ask about this only. Thank you for telling me. I'll leave first!" Xianwu said in a rush leaving the transmission. Xianwu sighed while picking up the barrel and walking back. "The more I never wanted anyone to know about it, the earlier they came to know. What luck!" she thought dejectedly.

"Nevertheless, the case isn't solved. There's really a high chance that the village might face something like this again. So, I think I should make my way to the silent city and find something out…" she thought climbing out the hill to face her little cottage. Xiao yin stood outside, his hairs wet. His clothes were the same ones, only his outer robe was washed and hanged on the rope. Looking closely, he seemed to be tinkering with something. Xianwu walked closer to him. "Xiao yin, what are you doing?" she asked curiously.

"Sister!" he called with a gleam. "I was thinking the door looks so old, should I mend it?" he asked. Xianwu looked at the door wondering. "It really is old…" she pondered hard. Fa Ling stretched himself and bought a paved cloth from the cottage. Handing the cloth to Xianwu she called "Xiao yin, come here let me comb your hairs." Xiao yin nodded sitting on the stone. Xianwu gently dried them after as sort while his hairs seemed to be completely dried. Picking the comb that Fa ling had bought. She delicately combed his hairs.

Only by a single touch Xianwu's eyes widened as she gasped "His hairs…?" she thought. Why do I feel like I've touched them before…?" A strand after strand she combed dazed in her thoughts. "Sister, why aren't you saying anything?" he asked. Xianwu asked in wonder "What do you want me to say?" "You're thinking about something, but you won't tell me…" he asked.

Xianwu's eyes widened "Xiao yin, I will be leaving for somewhere far right now. It will be a long journey. You should think of yourself at home in the meantime I come back." She explained. Xiao yin who was half shocked and half serious turned around and asked "You're leaving?" Xianwu nodded while braiding his hairs. "To the Silent city?" he continued asking. Xianwu nodded again. "Is it another mission?" he asked again. "Kind of…" Xianwu told. "Can I come with you? I know a lot about that place. I even visited there. Furthermore, I know how to protect myself as well." Xiao yin asked.

This time Xianwu had to ponder. "It's true Xiao yin knows a lot! No, a lot more than a normal human would. But still, he is a kid. He even protected me before and I even left him home the last time…" Xianwu faced him with a smile "Okay! You can come with me this time but you have to promise to stay by my side the whole time." Xiao yin with delight nodded.

"How is it?" Xianwu finally completely combing them. Xiao yin smiled. "Sister, your hands were like jade water. I didn't even realise when you finished…" Xianwu gleamed. Xiao yin looked a lot more handsome and attractive after cleaning himself. Even, Xianwu couldn't help but compliment "You look the most attractive!" she complemented. Xiao yin looked at her astonished. Unable to say a word he smiled back.

The two of them got ready to leave their little cottage. Suddenly, they heard knocking on the door. "Who is it?" Xianwu asked walking towards it. Opening it up, she found the sight of two figures whom even after the world would end Xianwu wouldn't want to see them. Senlin Nuwang who stood while looking sideways and Shijei Enren who stood straight with his arms crossed. Xianwu stood thunderstruck. "Y-you?!" she asked stunned. "Tch! If it's not us then who?" Senlin walked inside vexed. Shijei walked behind her.

"We knew your kindness would even take you to hell, so before you go there we came to check on you." he said sarcastically. "And by the looks of it you are already ready to depart." Senlin continued. Xianwu flustered closed the door behind her, she asked "How did you know?" she asked. Shijei sat on the stone as he reminded "When you asked about the human eating corpses in the between the auction amongst the transmission array, luckily we were there and heard it all, and also, we were added into Shashou's private communication last time. We heard everything you were talking about with him." Xianwu with a sudden realisation thought "You heard everything?!"

"We heard everything." Senlin repeated the words of her thought "And that also goes for you leaving the Inferno city, what's that all about? When did that happen?" she asked sighing. Xianwu looked right and left. "Haha, it's nothing." She made up "I didn't want to live there anymore… so I came back to the mortal world. No big deal!" Shijei and Senlin looked at each other solemnly. "As if the demon king, would let that happen…" Senlin pondered. "Never mind that, are you ready?" Shijei asked changing the course of their conversation.

"Ah! I am, but the only problem is for the travel. To reach the Silent city we would need to walk by foot for ten days…" Xianwu calculated. Senlin rolling her eyes in frustration replied "No need… Shijei's teleportation array can take us there in a second." "Ah…" Xianwu nodded. For a thousand years Xianwu was dead, how would she know the powers and capability achieved by other Heavenly Supremes in that time especially those two. She could only nod. But, after facing all there abusing's, somewhere in her heart there was a dreadful feeling "Why? Why would you do this after all that…?" she thought with a desolate expression. "Is this a new way of scorning me?"

Shijei walked forward taking out his paintbrush, he called "Get ready, Xianwu after drawing the array we will leave." Xianwu was a little bit startled as she remembered she had forgotten to tell them something. "Um…" she stuttered. The two of them faced her "There's something I need to tell…" she tried to complete her sentence but Xiao yin interrupted "Sister, I'm ready. Let's go!" he hopped down in front of her. Senlin and Shijei who were listening to Xianwu had already become solidified by Xiao yin's voice.
