The next daybreak Xianwu woke up as she sat on the bed baffled. Her hairs ruffled and her clothes wrinkled. She blinked her eyes as she got up and little click took her attention as she saw the necklace dangling on her neck. The nightingale sang gently over the pillow. "Good morning~" she greeted with A light smile. Looking around the window the sky still seemed dark. "Looks like there's no morning in the inferno city…" she thought. Gently standing up he gaze shifted towards her ankle. A thick golden mark was carved around her entire ankle. Suddenly her heart began to beat faster. How come?!" she thought in panic. Why is it still here?" Soon memories of past came rushing in her mind.

"Yue Xianwu you traitor! You filth! Just go and burn in hell!" "Yue Xianwu, you hereby sentenced to death." "Xianwu I'm sorry to do this to you… however the seal on your ankle will never let you live in peace and fortune will befall you even after death and the one on your arm will take away all your blessings… this is the punishment we devised for you…" "I'm not wrong!! Believe me!!" Suddenly clutching her chest, sweat dripped her forehead as she tried to trace her finger on the forbidden seal however, unable to she simply clutched her dress. "Looks like even death can't break the forbidden seals…" she whispered helplessly.

All of a sudden, many demon women entered the room. "Highness Fairy are you awake?" they asked. Gasping in surprise Xianwu hid her feet with the sheets and nodded. The women looked at each other slightly worried "My lady, you don't look so good… is something the matter?" they asked. "No nothing at all. I'm alright. I am just not adapted here that's all. Thank you for asking." She replied trying to hide her worry away. Just that?" they asked together. "Don't worry milady, you'll surely adapt here in no time!" they guaranteed. Xianwu smiled nodding.

Looking at demons of so many kind their appearances didn't shock her anymore or more likely she became used to them. "Milady here's your dress and accessories sent by the sovereign. Kindly change into them." One of them said bowing low in respect. "Yeying? Where is he?" Xianwu asked while looking at the clothes. "My lord is out of the city for some matters, he won't be here today." Replied a demon women.

"My lady don't be late, Sovereign's brother are waiting for you outside! You better hurry." She continued. Xianwu looked at her as she remembered the three of them. "Hm! I'm coming!" she replied as she rushed to change. "I better stop worrying about trivial things. Even if I would've been alive. I still would have the punishment seals." She thought while looking at the one on her right arm. After a while she came out, her hairs moonlight blue neatly tied into a braid with a white robe dazzling. The little nightingale hidden under her hairs. She made her way towards the veranda where Feixing, Fenghuang waited. Seeing their figures she walked faster. "Brother Feixing! Brother Fenghuang!" she called. The two of them looked at her with a smile. "Princess Xianwu!" called Feixing. Xianwu stood in front of them as she panted. Fenghuang gently patted her back. "Easy! Who told you to run so fast?" he asked worriedly. "Sorry…" she replied standing straight.

Xianwu looking around noticed one of them missing. "Where is brother Shentong?" she asked. Feixing rolled his eyes in annoyance "He was making a big fuss to meet Xiao Ye even when he knew he wasn't here, so I accidentally hit him on his neck and he fainted on the road." he explained while walking towards the teleportation array. Upon his words Xianwu looked at Fenghuang slightly surprised. . "Poor Brother Shen… he got hit on the neck and fainted on the road…" she repeated in disbelief. Fenghuang sighed "Till the very end I wonder was it really an accident?" he asked. Xianwu signalled a no with her head. "Let's go! What are the two of you doing?" Feixing called as the two of them rushed towards the portal. The portal flickered and they went in leaving not a single trace behind as the demon city was again filled with bickering and laughter.

The portal opened in the middle of the Ascension plane. As the name stated 'Ascension plane' was the place where mortals ascended the heavenly palace with their dignified behaviour and achievements. Sometimes even kingdoms would ascend and become a part of the heavenly sight! That sight would be seen once among thousands of millenniums. Xianwu stood there with a sad smile remembering, once she was also there ascending with a long blade, most respectable and most powerful and afterwards her kingdom flying towards the heavenly city and becoming a part of it as well but now it was all different.

Thousands of Supremes passed by her but none recognised her and the ones who did, silently retracted their steps, taking a path away from her. An unbearable feeling filled her chest which she suppressed. "That's right Xianwu… it's all in the past… don't remember." She consoled herself. Suddenly a shout dispersed her thoughts. "Feixing! Fenghuang!" shouted Shentong with tears in his eyes. "You are really the worst! You left me on the street and didn't even take me to Xiao long~" he cried while hitting his fan over their heads. Feixing exclaimed in return "Quiet! Stop your whining! Xiao Ye was not there how many times I should tell you that! I think you deserve to be thrown on the road again!" he angered.

Xianwu joined the fuss to calm them down. "Yes! Brother Feixing is right Yeying wasn't in the palace, the palace caretakers told me in the morning." She said to Shentong calming him down. "Really?! Okay if you say so then I'll believe it!" Shentong replied. His behaviour turning into a carefree one once again. Xianwu looked at him puzzled. "Xiao Yue!!!" shouted a girl in middle of the road as she rushed like a speedboat and glomped Xianwu. In a moment Xianwu thought that her head was going to come off clean. "Little darling how are you? Did you sleep last night? That demon didn't do anything to you right?" asked Meizhen as she pulled her front and back aggressively with her dozens questions. Xianwu was choked and out of life.

"Meizhen~ calm down a… little. I'm dyi…ng" said Xianwu. Meizhen realised as she kept her straight "Oh I'm sorry! I was too excited." She told while rubbing her head. "I am alright. How are you?" Xianwu asked adjusting herself after the horrendous waves of shock. "I am alright as well!! You know the whole transmission course is talking about me! For right now I'm the wealthiest person in the heavenly city after the emperor!!!" exclaimed Meizhen with pride. Xianwu looked at her with a complexly. The transmission course was a spell. Just like a group chat it connected all of the heavenly Supremes for instant noticing and informing purposes. For how everyone assembled the last time when Shentong told about the fortune was just like this. The news spread over the transmission course and even the emperor knew it in seconds. Transmission courses however were also used for most stupid purposes as well like chatting, backbiting about the heavenly Supremes who despised each other and lottery wining.

Xianwu smiled at her "Really! Then congratulations!!" she said. "Thank you!! Now you can ask anything from your sister, I'll give you everything without a price!!" Meizhen offered her with pride. "Hmm…" nodded Xianwu. The five of them walked together towards the palace. "Princess are you sure to take cases from the emperor?" asked Feixing worriedly. Xianwu nodded "Yes! If I have to live I have to earn merits and merits from the emperor are powerful enough to generate my life span… Yeying also gave me permission." she replied. Feixing nodded back. "Look its Shashou!" called Fenghuang tracing him and waving him back. Shashou walked towards them.

"Welcome back! Xianwu." he greeted. Shashou was the Heavenly supreme of all knowledge regarding the heavenly world with the mortal world and his palace was also within the stellar library. Shashou carried a loads of scrolls more likely a mountain, half of them flew in midair. Xianwu greeted with a bow "It's good to be back…" Shashou gazed at her with a smile. Looking at how heavy the scrolls he might be carrying she said "May I help you I anyway?" Shashou stared at her slightly surprised. "Thank you Xianwu… how kind of you. However, I'm fine" he replied. "Really… I wonder, just how are you different from your past self? It's as if your kindness states that nothing ever happened at the first place?" he thought.

But, hearing how Heavenly Supremes talked about her from the sides made him slightly worried. "Xianwu…" he called. "Yes?!" Xianwu asked. "The voices around you… ignore them. Don't take them to heart. Stand strong okay?" he told lovingly. With his words Xianwu realised how much she was scorned by the people around her behind her back and u in front. "Yes brother Shashou… I will" she replied.

"By the way the emperor calls you in the heavenly palace for your task. Don't worry about the scroll I already gave it to him." he told. Xianwu nodded. "Then I think I'll leave first." she said looking at Feixing and the others she left towards the heavenly palace.
