The four of them sat closely. The wind blew harshly. Xianwu who had nothing to wear tried to keep her shivers in check. Senlin looked around as she asked "The tribe… outside the forest. Where does it lie? Because if we stay here a bit longer we'll be turned into ice rocks!" Xianwu stood up. "I've been sleeping for long. I really don't have an idea where the tribe lies…" she thought. "Sister," Xiao yin called. "The tribe lies at the entrance to the 'Bridge of forever silence' It's said that the tribesmen are quite unwelcoming. The moment they find us, they're going to capture us." He explained.

Shijei sighed as he questioned "You! What do you study?" Xiao yin replied mockingly "It's something you don't even take a glimpse at… it's called Common Knowledge." Shijei looked at him angrily his veins popping out.

Xianwu smiled back. "Why are the tribesmen unwelcoming? Did something happen? What if the kidnappings of heavenly Supremes are performed by them? But, on the other hand the heavenly Supremes are very powerful than normal humans…" she pondered. "Should we find them?" Xianwu suggested. "Huh?!" Senlin asked in objection. "If we find them and instead get captured. What do you think we are going to do then?" she asked.

Xianwu sighed. "But, if we don't find them. We still won't be able to cross the bridge and if we cross the bridge in front of them. They might still capture us. So, I think I would be the best I we get to know about their circumstances first and then summarize our plan. Because, if the Human eating corpses are connected to the silent city then, being so close to it, they would definitely have awareness about them." she clarified. Senlin and Shijei shared glances towards each other. Shijei inquired "So… how do we find them?" And for this Xianwu had nothing to reply back. It had been so many years since she last visited this place, she had truly forgotten everything. Moreover, the night over their heads had made things much more worrisome.

Suddenly, a shadow went past them. The bushes quivered. Senlin and Shijei with their peak battle senses stood up aiming their weapons. Xianwu who kept gazing at the treacherous forest behind her guessed "I think it came from the sides…" Senlin instantly extinguished the fire with her single stomp. Shijei grabbing Xianwu pulled her closer to him. "Stay quiet, and don't make a single noise." he ordered. There were many times in the past when Shijei would make this same move in order to stop Xianwu from getting into danger but every single time she did the exact same. And that was to get into danger. Xianwu couldn't help but remember. Xiao yin stood beside her. His eyes gazing at a single side continuously. Senlin and Shijei continuously stood on guard.

All of a sudden, the bushes moved and arrows came flying towards their direction. "Hundred sword defense!" Shijei claimed while thousands of swords divided their arrows in half protecting them. Fa ling instantly caught on from the impact as she pondered "These arrows are…" she tried to make out as Xiao yin took over "They are made up of redwood and metal sharpened from stones." Xianwu continued "That could only be made by the tribesmen!" she guessed. "Senlin, stop don't attack them. And the moment I talk to them hide all your weapons!" she informed.

Senlin and Shijei looked at each other anxiously. Xianwu looked at the arrow "Now I only have to hurt myself a little… but where should I?" she thought. In a brick of moment Xianwu cut herself with the arrow. Xiao yin looked at her stupefied. "Ouch… it hurts…" Xianwu thought as blood oozed out from her arm. Xiao yin's eyes enlarged and his expression turned into a grave one. Xianwu looking at his discomfort comforted "Don't worry… it's all for work. I got hurt many times before. Don't worry!" Xianwu applying her blood over her fingers, gently applied over his cheek. Xiao yin who was shocked to the core couldn't utter a single word. Xianwu explained "In this way we could explain them, that we got hurt with their arrows and are normal humans…"

Xianwu did the same to the other two who kept defending them as well. "Are you out of your mind?!" Shijei asked in shock. "I'm really sorry if you feel disgusted. But I'll make sure you can wash it off." Xianwu gasped with a smile. Shijei turned around in anger "What do you mean by feeling disgusted?!" he repeated. Xianwu walked out of the barrier. However, Xiao yin who was left behind in a daze clenched his palms and gritted his teeth in rage. His eyes burning red.

"Excuse me! Will you kindly stop firing your arrows over us, my friends and I am really hurt!" Xianwu pleaded. "Kindly stop shooting them. We seem to be lost here. Please help us!" instantly with slight whispering around the bushes the arrows stopped. Many man wearing ragged clothes and marked with black lines over their cheeks came out. The arrows were set in a bow. Senlin and Shijei had already hidden their weapons as told. The four of them were soon surrounded by people who seemed to be lot like tribesmen and a long heighted and broad built, aged man made his way towards Xianwu with a medieval sword in his hands. Xianwu gulped in in so called restlessness.
