All around the arena there were fights going on along with the assistant of the two leaders, the military had also acted trying to contain the invaders who were busy killing people senselessly.

Though some of the invaders were at a lower rank, there were also some that were way stronger the others. Such people had up to five people surround them and they were still dominating the fight.

Edward and Orion were doing a good job on their end. With the barrage of attacks, they were close to overwhelming their opponent. They just needed a little more push.

The aides of the leaders attempted to evacuate them, but they remained where they were. They decided that they were going to watch to see the fools that decided that the Citadel where some of the strongest people in the country were gathered was the best of places to attack.

Since Max had deactivated his ability, the invader they were up against now found it easier to use his telekinesis freely.

It was such a bother, but Max could not complain. He knew that fighting without his gravity with Darla by his side gave them an advantage than using it and slowing her down.

After all, she was going all out. Her fists were covered in flames and she walked fearlessly towards the invader. She was still pissed off about the sneak attack and she was itching to retaliate.

As she got closer the invader they were up against began to use his telekinesis to hurl things at her, she expertly dodged everything that was thrown at her. Those that came too close, she burnt them to a crisp before they could touch her.

Max watching from the side while waiting for an opening to launch an attack was impressed, she really was a force to be reckoned with, but still he was confident in his abilities if he had to face her.

As they fought, positions soon changed and the invader was almost backing Max, he had found the opportunity he was looking for. He rushed in for a sneak attack.

He punched at the base of the back, connecting heavily with the tail bone. The impact of the punch sent shudders down the invader's spine, without giving him a chance to react, Max immediately activated his ability.

The shock from the sudden shock and the gravity pull instantly halfed his speed and reflexes. Darla saw it was the right time to attack and with her still flaming fist, she dislocated the invader's jaw sending him to the floor.

Without giving him a chance to get up, she met him on the floor and pummeled him even with the amplified gravity still active.

After making sure he was beat up enough to not attack, she put a hand on his scalp threatening to burn it to ash.

It was either out of embarrassment of losing to two kids or instructions to follow after a capture. The invader bit his lip and his mouth soon turned blue and the life left his eyes..

Jeremy Dupont was impressed by the show of team work he had just witnessed, but he was fed up because 'these fools' as he termed them had come to disrupt the peace of the competition they were enjoying.

The leaders had decided to sit back because the military had managed to stop the mindless massacre of innocent people, there was no other reason for them to interfere in the ongoing scuffle below.

But they had all sat up when they felt a tingle, it was like a wave of energy had been released somewhere. The effect was minimal but they could still feel it.

Jeremy Dupont was the first to react, he stood from his seat and looked around at the intruders.

Jeremy Dupont was already pissed off enough by the intruders and one unlucky intruder saw the leaders above through the glass pane and leapt at the glass pane. He conjured a number of small rocks and hurled them at the glass.

When the air rocks came in contact with the reinforced glass they had managed to put a little dent on it. Jeremy Dupont stood up from his chair and spinning into a bolt of lightning, he shattered the glass.

The only thing that could be see was a streak of lightning bathed in a bluish white light. And a rain of shard of glass dropping twenty feet. He met the invader mid air and grabbed him by his neck.

"That guy, as usual he lets his temper get the better of him." Astor commented.

Dupont could be seen descending to the ground with a wriggling black figure in his grasp. He choked the invader, increasing the pressure on his throat.

"What are you doing here? Why are you here?" Dupont asked the both questions in quick succession.

"Even if you knew, you can't do anything about it.

"You think so?" Dupont smiled manically, by now the lightning that ran through his body had gone off, he was using just his raw strength to overpower the invader, but after the comment he activated the lightning once again. He sent an electric shock through his brain.

By now, everyone had stopped fighting. The invader had stopped their attacks and were now watching Jeremy's unreal display of strength. No one dared move an inch from where they stood.

The little streak of lightning that had been sent into his body made his eye light up a clear white colour.

"Still think so?" Dupont asked again after the invader have had enough time to recover "Now you're going to tell me what this little charade of yours is and why you have decided to attack an event where the five leaders are present"

"The invader was already beginning to shiver, the first bolt of lightning had short circuited his brain. His cognitive abilities were now failing him. For fear of another shock that would rock him to his core or probably kill him, he started to talk

"We are the Mercenaries of Death" he started "and we are here because..."

His neck suddenly went limp and he had stopped breathing.

Dupont was now pissed, someone was controlling him and they had killed him before he could divulge any more information.

He let the limp body fall to the floor and he stared at the next closest person. His body lit up in lightning, just before he could move, all the invader started to sink into the floor
