Davis looked at the Pestilent Dragonfly Dust Spawn become attracted to the High-Level Earth Grade Poison Essence, like a moth that was drawn to a light source. It used its cunning nature to ambush once again displayed in its actions and caused it to incapacitate it successfully.

It didn't absorb quickly but had in it its grasp.

However, Davis could see that it had yet to digest the previous Poison Essence, or perhaps both. 

His eyes brightened! 

'Maybe I won't need to use the Mid-Level Sky Grade Poison Essence after all...'

He became satisfied with the Pestilent Dragonfly Dust Spawn's progress but didn't count on it much as he knew that his selfish expectations might be arbitrarily betrayed by reality. He silently watched it play with the captured High-Level Earth Grade Poison Essence, seemingly torturing it while it seemed to be screeching in pain as a result.
