1 The dark night

The clouds are dark as there are thunderly storms that are causing it to rain heavily, Shanaya Mheta is alone in her room as she was home alone. She sits on the bed sheding tears and hugging her favourite teddy bear which Chirag had bought for her. She keeps memorizing a fight which she had with Chirag regarding becoming intimate before marriage, Shayana claimed she is not ready for both marriage and becoming intimate, which angered Chirag and ended things with her. She is now drowning in her own tears, while Chirag is filled with rage, unable to understand why Shanaya is doing all this, was it because she is not ready or is it because she doesn't wanna commit to their relationship. As Shanaya was busy listening to her own pain, a man walked straight in her room masked on the face and locks the door, Shanaya stood up in shock and asked the man who he was with fear but the man didn't utter a word, instead he walked straight to Shanaya, pushed her on the bed and violated her. A second man entered the room as the other one had finished his shameless act, he started reprimanding him, Shanaya stood up and picked a glass jar, as she was about to hit the man who violated her, the other one held her hand and the one who violated her picked a heavy material and hit her on the head, she fainted and started bleeding. Both the men were shocked and unknowingly left a necklace which had three alphabets, 'CSO'. Right after they left, Uday returns and finds his sister on the bed drowning in blood and tries to wake her up.

"Shanaya, Shanaya what happened to you?" Asked Uday as tears were dropping down his face terrified by finding his only sister in such a state.

"Shanaya wake up don't do this to me, Shanaya!" He keeps on trying to wake her up.

 He picks her up and put her in a car and rushed her to the hospital, where it is confirmed that Shanaya had been raped, the doctor also informs Uday that Shanaya may have lost her memory so once she wakes up, he shouldn't be shocked if she doesn't remember anything. Uday became so terrified unable to believe what had happened to his sister, he calls Chirag and informed him, he also calls his family members and they all rushed to the hospital. Chirag arrives first, he ran straight into the room finding Shanaya in a very bad condition, he started crying and talking to her.

"Shanaya, Shanaya wake up it's your Chirag. Wake up and tell me who did this to you." Said Chirag in a terrible state.

"You do know that I can't live without you Shanaya, how will I remain alive if you are in such a condition, please wake up dear." Said Chirag as he was crying his heart out.

" I know I said so many mean things to you I'm Sorry, I didn't mean any of them, Shanaya you have to wake up, please wake up so I can apologize properly, I won't speak about leaving you and I won't end things between us either, please say something Shanaya." Said a crying Chirag.

"Those who did this to you will be punished I promise you, I won't stop until I find the people who have put you in this condition, wake up so you can tell me who did this to you. Said Chirag crying.

A crying Uday holds Chirag's shoulder and started crying even more.

"Shanaya I said I'm sorry please wake up now i can't stand seeing you like this, I need you to tell me who has done this to you so I can bring them to justice." Said Chirag crying.

"The doctor said Shanaya may have lost her memory, which means she may not remember the incident nor the culprits." Said Uday in a terrible state.

Chirag's world trembled down upon hearing the news, he looked up to Uday's face very shocked and even more terrified, tears started dropping down on their own as if it was just water falling.

"Yes Chirag, our Shanaya may have lost her memory, so until she regains it we won't be able to identify the culprits." Said Uday as his tears continued to flow.

Chirag fell on his knees and holds Shanaya's hands.

"Shanaya....I don't believe any of this, Shanaya wake up and prove them wrong, I need you to identify those culprits." Said a terrified Chirag but Shanaya laid there lifelessly with oxygen pipes.

The police arrives and asks Uday to take him to his home so they can see the crime scene, Uday refused to leave Shanaya alone but then, the family arrives and told Uday they will stay with Shanaya, he should go with the police maybe they can find evidence leading them to the culprits, Uday leaves with the police and took them to his house, where they searched Shanaya's room and gathered all the evidence needed to catch the culprits. The police left the house after the job was done but Uday starred at the room terrified by the state he found Shanaya in, he looks at all the walls and the blood, he screamed and fell on his knees , as he was crying, he saw something shining under the bed which caught his attention, he went and picked it up and saw that it was a necklace. His hands started shaking as he was about to read the alphabets on the necklace, his heart started racing fast, he reads the alphabets as they were 'CSO'. He knew that the necklace belonged to the culprits and phoned Chirag whom didn't answer his phone as it was on silent and the doctor was informing them that Shanaya will be discharged after a few weeks as they have to do more tests including the pregnancy test, the doctor tells them that Shanaya could be pregnant. It was as if it was Chirag's worst day on earth as he believed that his death would be been better than Shanaya's current condition.
