38 MEETING Y-204 (II)

One by one the hall emptied as most students rushed to quickly make it to the Hero Theoretical Knowledge class.

Stare alongside Bobby and Joel had soon joined them as well but not as eagerly as before.

After all, none of them planned on taking seats at a front row, considering what happened last time or exactly joining in the crowd of Students with the status of Supporting Hero Status who were the first to rush off to the hall, after the supposed grudge they held against them…well Stare to be precise.

The trio entered the familiar, spacious classroom with its pristine white walls, opting for seats near the back.

Before long, Professor Kali Linux made his entrance, and simultaneously, Y-204, the enigmatic figure, joined the class.

This recurring sequence of events stirred a sense of suspicion in Stare. However, lacking a reasonable theory to explain it, he relegated the notion to the back of his mind.

Y-204 carried his trademark gloomy demeanor, while the professor, clad in his lab coat like the day before, sported slightly shorter hair this time. His face maintained its customary lackluster expression as he surveyed the patiently seated students, awaiting the commencement of the lecture.

Suddenly, his unexciting blue eyes locked onto Stare, and a smile graced his face, infusing life into his otherwise dull countenance.

Promptly, he motioned for Stare to relocate to the very front row, attracting numerous subtle yet unmistakable expressions of disdain from the other students.

Among those guilty of harboring contempt, Ava stood out. Unlike the others, she didn't mask her feelings, her gaze fixed on Stare as if calculating the most effective method of expressing her disdain.

Nevertheless, Stare remained unperturbed, indifferent to the collective animosity directed at him. After all, he harbored a singular motive for being at the academy: confronting the white-haired boy seated at the far end of the class.

As for the professor's unusual attention, it didn't perturb him either. It held no sway over his plans, and he was well aware that his scholarly abilities were less impressive than perceived. He had no intention of replicating his previous disruptive antics either.

Besides, a little admiration and attention from time to time wasn't too bad.

The class soon started off and after a while the three hour long class had come to an end meaning it was time for their next class, The Fief Awakening class.

For some reason, students with the Main Hero Status were allowed to leave the hall first, forcing the Students to sit back, waiting for them to completely exit the classroom before they finally got the chance to leave as well.

Joel had left with the other Students with the same status as him, leaving just Stare and Bobby who eventually left for their class as well.

Along the way, some students with the supporting Hero Status tried throwing taunts at Stare but since it was nothing serious and Stare knew they were just trying to vent out their frustration he let it slide.

They got to the huge hall with two demarcated doors, one at the right end and the other on the left end.

Unhesitating, the students immediately moved to the door at the left end with the tag 'Supporting Heroes' on it.

Surprisingly their teacher for this class Emma was already in the class with that smile on her face that seemed to make her already gorgeous face radiate more.

Her cheerful greetings were met with reciprocated smiles and positive responses from the students, even Bobby, who had appeared disgruntled earlier, couldn't help but smile, albeit discreetly.

The students were quite hyped up for today's class, after all this was to be their first official fief awakening class.

Supporting Hero or not, fief was fief and the students were eager to learn how to use their fiefs already, Stare included as well.

After all, his teleportation could come handy from time to time.

Regrettably, the class didn't meet their expectations. Instead of delving into Fief awakening, it focused on topics such as survival strategies, responses to various situations, attacks, and different elixirs for injuries. It resembled more of a Red Cross training class, albeit at a more advanced level as it was led by a Tier IV Prime and Hero.

While Stare felt a mild sense of disappointment, he hadn't been overly enthusiastic about commencing his Fief training. Consequently, his expression remained more composed compared to his fellow students.

The three hour class had also soon come to an end, without them exactly learning a thing about using their fiefs which for most was a disappointment.

Next was the Combat Class which Stare was very hyped up for, making the downcast Bobby grow suspicious of his eagerness to attend the class.

Together, they made their way to the class, and Stare quickly noticed a difference within the exceptionally large hall. Aside from the fact that the students with the status of Main Hero were actually there before them, there was also the presence of numerous human-like dummies which were nicely scattered in different parts of the wide hall.

As the students entered the hall, they wasted no time waiting for Lagertha's presence. Instead, they immediately approached the walls, selecting weapons, and proceeded to engage with specific training dummies, swiftly honing their combat skills.

Their actions appeared well-practiced, as though this routine had been rehearsed countless times before. This scene left Stare in a state of bewilderment. Merely a day had passed since he had been incapacitated, yet so much had already transpired.

For the first time since yesterday, there didn't seem to be any form of segregation in this class.

It was everyone with their particular dummy, heck even the almighty Ares barely even looked to his side and was rather pounding on his dummy with his gauntlets.

Well that was quite expectant, considering how crazy that woman was

Bobby also walked to the wall and picked a bow and arrow, which Stare saw as quite an interesting choice of weapon he then turned to look at Stare and even if he didn't say anything, Stare very much understood that message he tried to convey.

"Don't do anything stupid."

Stare just gave him a sheepish innocent smile and silently crossed his heart to promise.

Bobby however didn't seem convinced by his gesture but eventually left for a dummy with his bow and arrow.

With Bobby out of sight, Stare began exploring the hall. As he ventured further, a surge of anticipation, curiosity, and other complex emotions coursed through him.

He finally got to meet that fucker.

After traversing more than half of the hall, a wide smile spread across Stare's face as he spotted the familiar white-haired handsome boy. The boy was busy thrusting his two daggers into the already battered dummy in front of him.

Stare stood still for a moment, frozen.

He wasn't really sure on how to make his approach, he hadn't thought about that before now.

How was he supposed to correctly approach an entity designed to be his adversary, someone who had endured countless lifetimes of combat with him. Each encounter had been a life-and-death struggle.

Yet, in the midst of his contemplation, an audacious idea materialized in Stare's mind, causing his smile to broaden.

With bold determination, he strode toward the handsome white-haired boy and, without

warning, delivered a punch straight to his face.

"It's been a while, hasn't it fucker ?"
