1 Chapter One : Error

-Get up.-

She got up.

-Well, it seems you are capable of doing something.-

She frowned.

-If you have time for your snarky facial expressions, then you should have time to fix your flaws, useless.-

She looked down in shame.

-No time for crying either...Now, look at yourself.-

She looked up, faced with a mirror.

-What a disgrace of a human, you look deformed.-

She turned away from the mirror.

-That's right, your appearance is unbearable to look at. So fix it.-

"How?" Her words echoed.

-Oh, she finally speaks...well, your time is up...so WAKE UP.-

She watched as her surroundings turned black and her breathing became ragged.

Celestia's eyes shot open, head rested on the soft, fluffy paper white pillow, while staring hard at the the polished dark brown ceiling. Beads of seat rolled down the side of her pale yet delicate skin as she desperately tried to wipe off her nervousness. Fingers gripping the bed sheets, that have been crumpled into a ball under her hand, one thought was going through her mind continuously. "What the hell was that dream?". The horrendous screeches of the alarm alerted Celestia that she should get ready for school.

Grumbling at the building that wears a façade, commonly known school, Celestia calmed her nerves and pushed all her negative thoughts aside, feet dragging against the road, forming an uncomfortable noise whenever her shoes met the tiny rocks that were lying on the road. Upon passing the gates, Celestia immediately flashed a grin as two people came running at full speed, both whose objective was to engulf her in a hug. Stumbling backwards, Celestia found herself sandwiched in a group hug as she laughed lightly.

"Hey Cel!" They greeted.

"Hey Luna and Nolan" and as usual both of them latched onto either side of Celestia and took her to the rest of their friend group. Celestia wasn't one to hang out with a lot of people but she did get along fine with Arabella. After a bit of small talk, the bell rang signaling the start of a boring day.

While everyone else was busy racking their heads trying to answer the questions provided by their teacher, Celestia channeled her focus on the stunning view that was displayed by the window. A cool breeze from nature flew by, giving a light push to the trees causing the leaves to look as if they were dancing when separated from the tree. She felt herself relax at the sight of the light blue sky sprinkled with clouds served with a dash of sun light, just enough to not hurt her eyes. All of sudden, the picture perfect weather was ripped apart and everything was dark and horrifying. Celestia rubbed her eyes and just like that, it was back to normal. It was as if her eyes had tried to deceive her. The feeling of a hand on her shoulder was all it took to make Celestia flinch back into the classroom, as she met with a Concerned Luna.

"Are you okay Cel?

"Sorry about that Lu, I was spacing out"

"That's alright, but you better finish your work if you don't want to get reprimanded by the teacher"

"Oh shit!" That was enough to get Celestia focused on her school work.

After the endless writing till her hand was aching Celestia was glad to hear the bell ring for once in her life and that because the bell rang for everyone's favorite time - Lunch break. Sitting calmly in her seat, while watching all her classmates turn into rabid animals whose only thought was to eat away and hang out with their friends while pushing and shoving to get out of the classroom, Celestia got up and walked her way out slowly. She saw her friends making their way towards her and they started chatting it up, but Celestia's mind just couldn't keep up with what the conversation was on, feeling more and more down as if her heart was slowly sinking like the titanic, except the cause wasn't an iceberg, nor was it anything else...just an out of the moment feeling...or maybe the weird dream and what she wished wasn't a hallucination, because that's close to going crazy which is a hard pass for her. Celestia's eyes snapped upwards after glancing at her shoes for too long and yet again Luna, joined by Nolan, was giving a look that consisted of worry. Beating them to it, Celestia opened her mouth first.

"You know what guys...I don't think I'm up for the talking...last night was filled with completing my homework and I'm especially feeling out of it due to that...so I'm just going to rest...bye!" and without giving a second glance or even time for a response of 'ok' Celestia made her way back into an empty classroom, where her next lesson would be, and laid her bag on top of the table as she kept her head on it and just stared at the snowy whiteboard that was shining to the point she could make out her reflection on it. Again she felt herself spiritually disconnecting from the classroom as she went to her own dreamland.

Before Celestia knew it, she was already making her way back home after a long day of being jailed in a gloomy space, also referred to as the classroom. Turning the knob of the door, which proceeded to make a slight creak due to the years worth of wear and tear, Celestia tossed her black bag on a random spot and plopped onto her bed with a deep sigh. Allowing her face to be buried in the plump mattress, questions starting crossing through her mind a vicious speed.

"Fuck you too, negative thoughts" she groaned out as she laid on her back and met the ceiling once again.

"It's so hard to be okay" somehow those were the last words she said before falling into deep slumber...Maybe it was because she was so tired...or the luxurious bed that provided maximum comfort...or the unwanted thoughts that weighed her down.

Sometimes...she wished she could sleep forever...
