*ka-clink.... ka-clink..... Ka-clink!* the sound of weights being continuously lifted and lowered echoed out through the small gym in the woods agency. Standing alone on one of the many specific muscle straining apparatus performing numerous reps of curls stood Kamui woods.

Within a month and a half he had started to bulk up substantially from before all whilst maintaining a figure capable of acts of extreme flexibility. Swimming and yoga are the key ingredients for that little feat.

*exhale* kamui (going to call him his hero name as that is what most people refer to him as) reaches for the nearby towel and water bottle. A small sip was taken followed by a generous pampering with the towel.

Kamui looked in the mirror nearby sizing himself up, with a quick flex his exposed skin changed to a greyish colour rather than the previous brown, some minor red head highlights matching the colour of autumn crawled through on the wood.

The colour change was a result of replacing his bodies original bonsai wood with Australian bullock and a plethora of other types of woods. His body seems capable of merging wood typings to produce composite woods. The transformation came with advantages and disadvantages.

Firstly his body grew more durable and gained the advantages of each wood such as him gaining the ability to release a poison based on the type of wood he had absorbed. His poison resistance raised as a side effect which he discovered against a poisoner villain three days following.

In exchange kamui's body had grown heavier and his movements had slowed, he felt as if he was wearing weighted vests at all times so he decided to train to regain and surpass his previous self.

The current society is far more advanced than his previous in terms of medical studies. The art of bodybuilding has become vastly greater as a result. No wonder a 15 year old like deku can get hench within 10 months, all Mights meal plan included a list of specific supplements for building a quirk worthy body.

Kamui visited several specialists to discuss a workout routine and diet to attain the results he wanted. As a prominent hero all doors opened for him so he spared no expense in modifying the agency for a few new machines.

With a stronger body came a stronger quirk, every day the methods in which Arbor was utilised improved. He learned how to manipulate wood that had been detached from his body like it was still rooted to his arm sockets.

The speed of deployment reached micro seconds along with the quantity in which it is produced expanding. Spending a month in the forest continuously shooting off as much wood as he could after a day of patrolling produced amazing results.

Shape manipulation has also improved a fair amount as compared to the standard tentacle formation. Recreating wood style jutsu used by Yamato and obito proved to be the best starting direction however recreating hashirama's has proven inadvisable at the current moment off time. Quantity and quality off woods are currently lacking along with the trees lacking leaves.

Seeing as grand constructs like nativity off a world tree jutsu were off the table kamui tried performing weapon transformations. Imagine a transformation performed by a transformer, their arms morphing into knuckle dusters and blades.

The best weapon construct to date was a replica of Ryu han bin's wooden great sword from survival story of a sword king. This has led to kamui requiring to take up numerous forms of weapon training on the side.

These are the successful improvements since reincarnation. The side projects that are still ongoing include; hashirama wood style, producing medicinal herbs and aloe Vera which can help burn victims, producing transformer like arm cannons through reproducing the myth busters wooden cannon and improving upon the design (consulting support agencies about it), attempt to produce leaves and or vines.

Try and produce rubber by absorbing Hevea brasiliensis or a rubber tree so that constructs can become more flexible and perhaps mimic Monkey D Luffy in some shape or form. The last project has actually been the hardest to achieve on a personal note hence it will be the longest.

Try to achieve bioluminescence! Kamui has researched about using fungi such as fox fire to learn to become bioluminescent. This in turn should theoretically allow him to produce a cold light thus generate a shelf heating or flaming effect. Not to mention by deploying patterns to the fungi possible means of hypnotism can be achieved.

It is a wild goose chase but quirks are crazy, they can rewrite the laws of science as we know it simply because biology determines that the phenomena are possible. This world shouldn't have a limit on ones abilities, the series proves that through is catch phrase. Plus Ultra! Which means further beyond.

This phrase is chanted by all the populace within Japan who pursue a career in heroics or hold a fascination for the topic. Heck even some villains chant it to themselves when they're in a pinch just to push themselves out of a dangerous position.

Kamui however follows a slightly different Latin philosophy to attain success. Cogito, ergo sum! I think therefore I am!

This phrase empties that if one believes in it hard enough it can be possible. In a world with quirks proving that the impossible such as rewind someone out of existence can become possible then a belief in ones potential abilities should also yield results.

Kamui stands there looking at his gray shaded wooden hand. After compiling a few woods the texture of his wood changed to this which caused his presence in the public to change slightly. They all thought he was pursuing a new look and the fact that his tactics during his heroics changed further cemented that idea.

As his body became more durable and he became stronger kamui became less hesitant to charge head first against danger. Rather than pierce and restrain with the wooden tentacles Kamui began brawling with wooden contrasts and his combat training that he'd inherited from his previous life.

As he needed to train more his patrolling schedule needed some changing. Rather than spend all day walking around shooting the breeze with death arms until catastrophe struck he spent that time training on call before heading out in the evening time to patrol with night life.

This present kamui as a potential underground hero in the eyes of the populace which the kids found cool, the obvious gains from his new workout regimen attracted more female eyes and his use of cool weapons attracted men's eyes. So? His popularity rose to reach the position of rank 40!

He's ahead of schedule, there's still two weeks until mount lady debuts and deku starts the training montage for his academia. A lot can be achieved within two weeks thought kamui.

*schlink* the door to the gym slid open and night life walked in. "Boss we just got a call from midnight! The notorious villain known as bone crusher has been sighted so he began rampaging in the streets all whilst making his way towards the freeway. She needs back up!"

Kamui snapped to attention "suit up! We're heading out to catch that guy. Prep the transport and meet me outside!" "Yes sir!"

Kamui rushed into the changing room and proceeded to hastily change into his dark blue skin tight suit then changed his limbs. He stuck on some doedrant too~ followed by clipping on a small utility belt with a communicator and some surprise tools that might help later.

As he stormed out of the agency his grey wooden mask encapsulated his face. He saw nightlife dressed in a biker style hero costume on his motor cycle. Kamui hopped on the bike and they took off, night life began explaining about the villain.

"The target is named Bonecrusher! Is a mutant type with an extra prehensile clawed limb attached on the back which stretches above his head. The hero archive registered him as having some strength enhancing quirk! Target dresses in beige and had a slight hunchback due to the prehensile limb. Is known to be incredibly hateful towards everything and everyone.

The target has gotten his hands on some movement type support gear that allows him to scare at high speeds. His strength enhancement quirks means he's crashing through vehicles like a wrecking ball!" Nightlife concluded as we reached the freeway.

We ascended onto a higher road driving towards the sound of explosions and police sirens. Night life accelerated whilst kamui prepared to jump off.

Below Bonecrusher was striding forcefully towards a filled bus containing some salarymen returning home. A manic grin layered his face and his red eyes glowed menacingly. The people in the bus began to scream completely forgetting that they've their own quirks which could save them. But alas they're more scared of a fine than losing their life.

Before the villain could shred the bus to pieces a grey blur slammed into its side from above knocking the both off the edge of the road they were on.

They tumbled together in a ball and landed on the bottom floor of the freeway impacting a mini van. The mother who was driving screamed while the children inside recorded the sight before them.

The villain yelled and took a wide swing at kamui who raised his left arm and let it transform into a a thick wooden shield before batting the strike away.

Bonecrusher then leaned forward slightly letting his claw strike. Kamui side stepped before grabbing the claw and yanking it making the villain lurch forward. While bone crusher was off balance kamui kneed him in the guy followed by his transformed knuckle duster right hand delivering a hook knocking the villain away from the car.

The kids inside squealed at how cool that looked while Kamui continued to engage. Bonecrusher regained his footing and reached near him. He clasped a rode block stashed at the side of the road and hurled it at Kamui.

The hero then performed an impressive display of acrobatics as he jumped to the side and began wall running off a pillar supporting the complex road system. The villain failed to notice the little wood vines that branched out from Kamui's feet that seeped into the concrete as he ran which supported his feet.

A little trick he developed to help his parkour, once he reached the end of the pillar the wood which was only helping him balance previously jutted out launching him at the villain.

Bonecrusher leered at the sight before launching his claw. Kamui then raised one hand and formed it into a clamp shape which he then slammed down onto the approaching claw, once the claw made contact with the floor another wooden weapon approached it. Kamui changed his other hand into a sharp wooden hook which he proceeded to use as a knife to cut the claw off.

The villain howled and blood spurred from the new wound. While the villain whined Kamui pulled the claw back and changed it into a heavy flail. He reeled his arm back before flinging it as hard as he could sending the weapon at the villain.

With a *konk* the villain was truck upside the head and proceeded to fall on his ass KO'd. Not taking any chances kamui reaches for his back with his left before making a swift throwing motion.

From his back a wooden boomerang formed and was launched at the down villain. Before it made contact it seemed to change shape and begin to wrap around the villain fully subdoing any potential movement.

Once the villain was firmly rooted to the ground he lowered his guard slightly and made his approach to begin disarming the villain not noticing the family he saved behind him with their phones out broadcasting the fight.
