Bonus Chapter

Sooo...I decided to write a bonus chapter😊Yes, I'm a sweetheart like that😇

After high school, I moved in with Dave and Dan. We had to juggle school with out missions. Josh obviously didn't approve of my decision of moving in with two guys but he knew there was nothing he could do about. The twins, Josh, Janice and I attended the local college while Ivy attended a college in the next town.

Today is my twentieth birthday and for some reason, Janice and Ivy have been taking me round the whole town. Ivy came to town to spend the day with me.

"Oh and let's try this place. I heard they make some mean steaks." Janice says, pulling me towards the steak house.

"No! Let's take her to the shop down town. Their steak is better." Ivy disagrees, dragging me in the opposite direction.

"She is coming with me!" Janice pulls me back to her.

"Not if I am here!" Ivy pulled me back towards her. I'm sure my arm was gonna rip from my sockets.

"Guys I don't want steak. Let's just go to McDonalds." I suggest. The arm pulling was beginning to hurt.

"STAY OUTTA THIS BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!!!!" They both commanded.

Sheesh! The irony! How can I stay out of it when it's my arm they are playing tug of war with?!

Using a special technique, I wiggled out of their arm before they could comprehend what I did. I started walking back to the car.

"Where are you going?" I hear Ivy ask.

"The north pole!" I deadpan.

"Home of course, where else?" I ask both of them. As Janice was about to drive off, Ivy got a call from Dan which required 'privacy'. She got down and walked away from the car. Dan and Ivy broke up a few months ago. Things just didn't between them so they broke it off. It was the cleanest and first drama free break up I had ever seen. Ivy is currently dating Clive from school. He attends her college. He is a sweet guy. Dan is dating Tiffany. She is in our college. Even though Dan and Ivy are exes, they were friends and will forever be friends. Janice and Dave are still together. They both complement each other perfectly.

Ivy looks at Janice and nods. I look curiously between them both and cock an eyebrow.

"Spill." I command.

"Well, we will be going out this evening so get ready by six." Ivy speaks up.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"A restaurant near by." Janice answers and drives us home.

   At home, Janice drops this dress in front of me.

"Wear this."

"I don't wanna."

"I saiiiiiid... wear this." She turns around to leave.

"Bossy meanie!" I grab the dress and stomp off to the bathroom to change into it. When I come out, I see Janice and Ivy grinning like maniacs. I take two steps back.

"What you doing here Ivy?" I'm very suspicious and scared right now. When these two grin like a Cheshire Cat I know everything is not going to be in my favor.

"What?!"

"Should I go?"

"I think I'm gonna go now." Before I could take two steps, Janice grabs me and dumps me in the chair.

   "What's happening? I'm calling the SWAT team! Leave me now!" I panic, wrestling and squirming in the chair.

   "Be quiet! We will be done in a bit." Ivy scolds.

   "Just don't do anything elaborate." I say.

    "Oh! don't worry 'bout that." Ivy says while Janice holds the make up bag in my face, laughing maniacally. I'm sure I'll die of fear today.

    Many foundations, mascara, lipstick, and blushes later they turn me to face the mirror.

    "TADAAAAA!!!" They yell. The person looking back at me is simply gorgeous. Even the dress is stunning on my body. I feel like a birthday princess today. I know, that sounds weird.

We arrive in front of a building. A building that isn't a steak house or restaurant.

    "Where are we?" I question.

    "We have to do something real quick. Be back in a bit."

  Five minutes later, and still no sign of them. Just when I was about to call, Janice called me.

    "Anaise! Please come quickly." She says and disconnects the call.

What just happened? Oh no!

I jump out of the car and dash towards the building with my gun in my hand.

   "Janice?!" I whisper-yell.

"Come to the roof." Her voice answers back.

I head to the roof and see nothing suspicious. All of a sudden, I hear a sound which startles me. I point my gun towards the noise only to see Happy Birthday Anaise!written in the sky by fireworks. I'm watching it in awe when Janice and Ivy come to me, hugging me.

"I'll take that thank you." Ivy whispers in my ear, pulling the gun out of my hand and tossing it to someone, I'm assuming one of the twins. Janice turns me around and I see Candace, Aaron, Tyler, Clive, Darcy, the twins, Mr. and Mrs. Carmichael, Josh's sisters, and some other school mates holding glow sticks and singing happy birthday. Heck, even Mentor is here. I tear up at the sight. Happy birthday they yell after the song. I have never had someone pay much attention to me before. All of a sudden, the place lights up to show a beautifully decorated room. And Josh. He looks rather dashing in a grey tuxedo.

"Happy birthday babe." He says to me after giving me a peck.

"Thank you baby." Everybody came to give me hugs, kisses, and wishes. I turn to Janice, Ivy, and the twins.

"Whose idea was it to scare me?" I playfully glare at them?

"Guilty as charged." Dave grins at me.

"Idiot." I smack him.

The party was great. I have never had so much fun in one day. Just when I thought the party couldn't get any better, the lights dimmed.

"What's happening?" I whisper to Ivy.

"I don't know." I turn to see Josh on one knee holding a silver coloured box. My breath hitched.

"Anaise Otis, we have known each other for almost three years now. And those three years have been one the best three years of my life. Would you make do me a solid by becoming my wife? Will you marry me?"

Ohhhh my God!!!

"Yes." I say. My vision is blurry and I'm sure my mascara will leave black lines on my face in a bit. He puts the diamond ring on my finger and I stoop to his level and kiss him.

I can officially say that this is the best day of my life!

Ivy and Janice take me to the bathroom to fix my make up.   

     "Ahhhhhhh girl you is gon be a wife." Janice tells excitedly.

    "I know right. I call dibs on being the godmother." Ivy says excitedly as well.

    "Yo guys chill. Now I have to tell Josh about me. I don't know how he will take it. I had no idea our relationship will last till the point of marriage. I have been lying to him." I'm freaking out now.

   "Breathe girl breathe!" Janice says.

   "He will have to understand that it's your job. Don't fuss anymore. We will cross that bridge together when we reach there. Let's go, the guests are waiting."

     "Thank you for today." I say to Josh when we are alone.

    "Thank you too for agreeing to be my wife. I love you."

   "I love you too."

I will have to tell him another day. I can't ruin this moment. I will tell him before we get married. I think I should win the award for the most discovered undercover agent ever.
