42 Wicked Desires

Nadia pushed the glass door open and they took the elevators up to the highest floor. Nadia's eyes still held the glint in them and Annalise focused instead on trying to get her heart to stop beating so fast, her chest tightened as the numbers on the elevator changed.

When the doors opened, Nadia turned to her and said excitedly. "Isn't it so beautiful?"

But Annalise was too preoccupied with her thoughts to even bother taking in the view of the place. Her heart had never pounded so loudly.

"Wait!" She said to Nadia as they were about to go through another set of doors.

Nadia smiled at her reassuringly. "It's fine, I'm here with you. Okay?"

Annalise nodded and let her step in, going in after her. There was a long corridor behind the door and they passed through it, headed to the last only door in it with four tall, heavily buffed men in front of it.
