The One Named Destiny

"Who was that?" Katsuo asked extending his hand to try and get the gun from my brother.

"Miss Sybil, an old friend of mine. My sister told them to bring me here so she would be able to meet up with the exorcist," my brother explained, adding him the gun.

"An exorcist? I always had a feeling she was crazy nobody is ever that crazy," Mina said sighing.

"This is a different type of exorcism instead driving evil spirits out, this person takes them in. My sister gave me that gun just in case Miss Sybil couldn't protect me,"

"So where did she find you?" Katsuo asked, examining the gun. He noticed a D on the handle of the gun, he thought to himself so she made it for him.

"Did you ever ask my sister what she does in her free time?" my brother asked looking out at the people from the glass door.

"I find it surprising she has free time, she's usually all about her work," Hiro said, watching him.

"I wanna go home," my brother said looking down, it was obvious that something had just startled him, "um I'm going to be right back," he said rushing to leave.

"Hold it, where are you going?" Hiro said.

"Don't you sense them too?" my brother said anxiously, "No matter I'll be in another room," he said leaving.

"What is he talking about?" Mina said as she was about to follow him when a woman rose up from a starry portal. The woman looked to be in her late 20s, white hair tied back with a star clip, she wore a galaxy-themed dress with a slit in it going down her thigh. Mina almost fell backwards as the lady rose up from the portal.

"Hiro, why haven't you answered any of my calls?" she asked Hiro giving him an icy glare with her purple pupils. Hiro looked as though he had seen a ghost and stumbled over his words.

"M-my a-apologies, my phone was on silent. What did you need Ms. Destiny?" Hiro said nervously.

"Wait a minute, who are you?" Mina said looking at the woman, she just smirked.

Katsuo sighed, "This is Lady Destiny, our benefactor for the unit. She often spends a lot of time with Director,"

"That's right, speaking of which where is she?" Lady Destiny asked.

"She's not here right now," Hiro replied.

"Aw, I was hoping to have a cup of tea with her again. She's been putting me off lately and it's beginning to break my poor heart," Destiny said putting a hand over her heart. Mina looks at Katsuo.

"She's taken quite the liking to Director, they usually meet up every week," Katsuo whispers to her. Destiny turns toward the door my brother just exited from.

"There's a presence more than you three, do you dare lie to me?" Destiny asks.

"What?" Mina asks looking at her.

"She probably noticed you know who, we should figure out something to call him," Katsuo said getting up. "You can come out it's fine, she won't harm you,"

"A-are you sure?" my brother said from the storage closet.

"That doesn't sound like Director," Destiny said trying to leave the room.

"Well his voice is deeper than hers, not to mention their manner of speech is far from similar too," Mina said.

"I'm sure, she's actually a really good friend of the Director. Don't mind her energy you'll be fine," Katsuo said trying to get my brother to leave the storage closet he was in.

"I'll just stay here, thank you," my brother said.

"Ugh enough of this," Destiny said marching right up to the door opening a portal on the door and putting her hand through it. She pulled out Director's brother from the closet into the hallway. "Your energy is very noticeable but I had to really focus to find you, why is that?" Destiny said looking at my brother, he closed his eyes and said nothing.

"I'd be careful if I were you," Hiro mumbled.

"What was that Hiro?" Destiny asked letting go of my brother.

"Nothing," Hiro said almost immediately when she asked.

"He said I'd be careful if I were you," Mina replied.

"Mina!" Hiro yelled at her as she giggled.

"And why is that?" Destiny said as she approached Hiro.

"Well that's because...um..." Hiro tried to say something.

"Because Director is his little sister," Katsuo said as my brother tried to walk back into the closet, Katsuo trying to stop him.

"What? Director did mention a brother but I thought he was long dead," Destiny said.

"I really should just die, shouldn't I? I'm a terrible father, a horrible brother and a joke of a husband,"

"Wait you're married?" Hiro asked, "You don't look that much older than us,"

"I got married 8 years ago but things ended up falling out between us and she ran off with Mayumi. I have been looking for them ever since but I found my wife passed not long after leaving me,"

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," Mina said.

"Wait how old are you?"

"38,"

"Where is Director right now?" Hiro mumbled to himself.

"She's most likely in a meeting with the Beast, Gem, Shadow, and Nurse families," the Director's brother said.

"That can't be, they were captured and executed," Hiro said.

"Not true one from each family escaped or hid until now," my brother explained. "Each house was raided including mine, am I…the only one who finds that strange?" my brother asked.

"No it is strange," Katsuo said looking at Hiro with an eyebrow raised.

"What?" Hiro asked looking confused.

"Spit it out," Mina said crossing her arms.

Hiro sighed, "Each was raided with only 24 hours apart from the rest, from what I read in the documents someone was trying to kill the Tormentor houses,"

"But why specifically those families?" Mina asked.

"Those families are the foundation for Tormentor society, out of the six families each is responsible for-" my brother paused.

"Why did you stop?" Hiro asked. My brother approached the door and unlocked it.

"What're you doing?!" Katsuo yelled at my brother.

"She's close," my brother said leaving the building and approaching the ice. "My little sister...she's not far,"

"Director is coming?!" Destiny said opening a compact and fixing her hair.

"But where is she coming from? There's a hoard of Tormentors out there, she won't just walk through them to come in," Mina said.

"That's exactly what she's doing," my brother said smiling looking in the direction he sensed Director from.
