Chapter 14: More About Him

Nobody cares to talk between us. I can even feel the awkward atmosphere. I didn't even argue about the shoes thing and him giving me a lift.

However he is still the same, the one who is silent and I'm really glad about it. The last time we saw each other, he's really loud and loves to talk but now he's different. I started to love the silence between us. It comforts me and help me to focus on what to sort in my mind.

"Can I ask?"

He nod while busy looking at the road.

"Why are you there?"

"Accusing me of being a gatecrasher? FYI, I’m invited." He said defensive.

"Who invited you?"

He sneaks glances at me.

I guess, it's Zyra.

"No need to tell. Anyway, you should give me your account, I'll deposit the money for my shoes."

"That's a gift,"

"Why?"
