1 Chapter 1

The Beginning Of The Adventure

Alexei's Diary

May 5th. Axel Town –I am writing this passage in my native language, after my brain was bombarded with this world's language and reading knowledge I lost the ability to write and read any other language I ever learned except my native language. This place was too big to be called a startup town, maybe a médium-sized city if we compare it to the standards of my original world, it was so colorful and beautiful, it reminded me of the town where my grandparents lived 16 km from Brașov. This town is pretty pacified if we consider that this world is being terrorized by a demon king.

it was quite early in the morning, people were just opening their shops and people of different races that I had only seen in fantasy and some anime were rushing to their jobs, it was fascinating to see this fantastic lifestyle, I never felt I would get tired of such a landscape.

Confidently I approached a man who was arranging vegetables on his wooden stand. The man was dressed in a moss-green linen shirt, brown puffy leggings, and a pair of leather gloves.

"Hello, it's a pleasure, good sir," I said with feigned calm because I didn't know how to act in this situation nor know the basic etiquette of this world, but the man gave a big smile.

"Don't call me sir, nice young man, I don't wear the clothes of a nobleman or his fine style," he said without taking any importance to my comment. "Are you from Wildechill by any chance?" I ask doubtfully.

"Oh no, I'm from a small town far up north and I've never had the pleasure of seeing the surrounding towns," I replied cautiously, not having the slightest idea what the man was thinking, but still playing along.

—Oh Sure, I assumed you were from those areas, your accent was quite familiar to me, by the way, what do you need?

"Do you know where I can find the adventurer's guild?" —I finally asked what I needed, I didn't want the man to ask me any more questions so I got to the point.

—So you come to become a new adventurer, then allow me to welcome you to Axel's village of new adventurers —He said with a smile —Okay, listen, go straight on the main street and then turn right, there you will see the guild sign. I wish you, luck boy —He said goodbye after thanking him energetically, a nice person next time I'll buy him something.

-The Adventurer's Guild-

It is a place where only the skilled, brave, foolish, and adventurous people meet, the adventurers take jobs that for normal people are difficult and dangerous to do in return the employer pays the guild and in turn, it acts as an intermediary with the adventurer getting a small commission from each job.

The establishment was large compared to other houses, if it weren't for the striking flag hung on top you could mistake it for the home of someone very rich with a great desire to flaunt his money, the roof was made of reddish brick and its walls they were made of square stone placed with great care so as not to ruin the aesthetics of the place, under a round window on the large wooden door was that strange flag with the silhouette of a bird of this world raised majestically on a blue background.

The chimneys in the place belched smoke from the kitchens, dispersing a pleasant aroma of food in the air.

In front of the doors John was looking nervously at the place, he knew that the moment he took the first step inside his life would change completely, he would go from being a traveler to an adventurer who would fight dangerous monsters to eat.

Similar to the books that John once read as a young man while still living in his parent's house, he would be like Geralt of Rivia or like Van Hellsing.

Without waiting another moment John took a step forward full of courage and bravery after that first step he no longer stopped and opened the doors, due to the early day it was not so crowded, although some drunk people on the floor refused to wake up, even if the maids kicked and yelled at them.

"Rough treatment," John whispered ironically, trying to calm his nerves.

A rather attractive waitress with short blonde hair and brown eyes noticed John and gave a big smile practiced to exhaustion "Welcome, if you're looking for food please take a seat, and if you have any questions you can go to the counter" she gave him a quick welcome to continue with his work.

John thanked him and went directly to the counter, surprised by the interior decoration: the large shelves with statues of well-known adventurers, the wooden tables, the plants that gave life to the interior, the columns that supported the ceiling, and even the lamps that John was wearing. sure they shouldn't exist in this world, but there they were lighting up the bar.

-You need something? - a delicate but strong voice spoke to him, John was a little surprised, but he looked ahead to see a very attractive woman like almost all the people he had seen so far, she had blonde hair tied in a ponytail with two lines of hair that fell to the sides of his face, his eyes were honey-colored and a pronounced chest that made his attractiveness stand out more.

John quickly regained his composure, not wanting to ruin his first impression any more than he already had.

"Good morning, I'm new to this town and I'd like to register in the guild." He spoke as relaxed as he could, trying not to let his nerves surface, but respectful enough to the attractive woman to avoid offending her.

"How polite," he replied with an amused smile, "My name is Luna, if you need something you can talk to me."

—Well before registering you need to pay the registration fee.

"I see, and how much would that be?" —I ask, remembering the money that the god who sent him gave him.

—For the registration fees, they are a total of one thousand Eris —John sighed calmly. The god had only given him ten thousand Eris and he didn't want to spend the little money he had to pay a single registration fee, he still had to buy basic equipment for the adventurer and a weapon.

John took out of his leather bag a golden coin with the value of one thousand Eris approximately 20 US dollars.

Luna took the coin and from behind the counter took out a blank card —Do you know what this is? John shook his head at the card.

"All right let me explain, adventurers have different jobs and these are their record cards, they keep the number of monsters you have killed. When you level up you will get points that you can use to learn skills, Also depending on your stats you will get a class with skills of that class that you can buy, you can also change classes once you reach the level and stats required for that class —John He nodded understanding the explanation.

"Once I change classes, will I lose the skills I got in my previous class?" John asked doubtfully.

—No, in fact, if you have the necessary points you could learn skills from other classes, although this is not advisable because depending on your class it will be very difficult for you to master that skill, they also cost many more points than they would if you were of that same class. class or an adventurer class that is the lowest of all so it is not advisable to do so.

"I see," John replied while inwardly making a smug smile.

—Please fill out this sheet with your information Name, height, weight, age, etc. —She said handing him a form that he quickly filled out.

"Okay, once this is done, I'm going to need you to put your hand on this crystal." John nodded and put his hand, the crystal began to react and he felt how it absorbed a type of energy from it, this surprised him, but he quickly left. He calmed down when he saw that Luna was calm.

The crystal mechanism began to move with what he thought was his mana, soon a beam of light hit his adventurer card directly and it began to fill with information.

—This is an analysis stone, it will tell us how your attributes are distributed, which you can take as a reference to choose your class more easily —he said so that after a few seconds the light went out, and John withdrew his hand from the glass and Luna grabbed his adventurer card and review.

"Okay, let's see, John Aleksei Volkov Great name," the girl praised, causing John to get a little nervous, which Luna noticed even though John didn't want to make it notice.

"…Strength, Vitality, Magic, Agility, and Speed… all of them are a bit above average, intelligence is quite better than your other stats… Huh? your luck points are the lowest I've seen since I started working here, but don't worry that's not very relevant for adventurers... this is difficult, because of your stats, you have very few options to choose your class, you can choose between "murderer", "thief", "Warrior" and "Adventurer" Which one would you like? John wasn't surprised he had never really gotten into training other than that time as a kid when he started practicing martial arts which he gave up after half a year.

"I think I'll go with the Warrior class" Luna nodded and after taking her class she handed John her card.

"Don't worry, remember what I said, you can change classes later," he said kindly before saying goodbye to John and continuing with his work.

John went to sit at a table, and a waitress came over to ask for his order, John ordered the cheapest dish on the menu, some frog legs, and some juice were 150 Eris in total, and he still had some money left that he would use to buy a weapon and armor for beginners.

When the waitress brought his food John was surprised by how good it looked and smelled when he heard they were selling frog legs he wasn't expecting much but it looked edible.

From his coat pocket he took out his adventurer card, luckily he still had some things from his previous world, his clothes, his phone, and his violin, the last gift his father gave him before their relationship turned sour.

As he ate John checked his adventurer card he was surprised to find out that he has skill points, apparently once you get a class they give you some skill points to use, and even though he only had four points that would be more than enough to learn the most advanced skills. basic of his warrior class.

Skills:

Swordsmanship: You become a skilled warrior when you have a sword (0p)

Burst: immobilize enemies with a flurry of Bleeding Blows (1p)

Sever artery: Cause the enemy to bleed with a slash (1p)

Leaf Trace: You throw your greatsword against your enemy, it will move to your target and return to you (1p)

And so John kept looking at the big list of skills for all kinds of weapons a warrior wants to fight with, but John just decided to focus on sword skills.

The first thing he did was learn the Free skill "Sword Management" He wanted to know how the skill he chose would work when he was in that place, he already had an idea because when he chose that skill his mind changed.

The moment he ran his finger over the skill, he felt energy go through his entire body, he felt like a new knowledge was entering his mind, it was getting bigger and bigger and when he saw his adventurer card, many of the skills in the swords section that could buy before disappeared, only the skills that had the use of magic in their form of attack and that gave a type of special damage.

Seeing that it worked John gave a big smile, the skill he chose was "Instant Mastery" as long as he learned a skill or understood the basic knowledge of a skill he would master everything related to that skill in an instant.

Just because of that, the disadvantages of learning skills from other classes disappeared for John.

The people who passed by were looking at him sympathetically, they were getting strange ideas, they thought that John had not eaten in a long time and that was why he was enjoying his food so happily.

Once John finished eating he got up from his table, thanked the Waitress, and approached Luna to ask for directions.

"Hey Luna," he said trying to get the attention of the woman who was cleaning a table. -Something happens?

—Sorry to bother you, but do you know where I can get some cheap equipment? I feel a little bad, but I recently arrived in town and I don't know much about these areas —I said with a little embarrassment because when she turned to look at me her breasts bounced, John was sure that she noticed his reaction from the giggle she let out.

"You could go to the guild's blacksmith, newbies like you get a five percent discount on equipment and weapons," he said, then gave him some directions to get to the place, John thanked him and began to walk out of the guild, the day of today there was a lot to do.

How did you like it, I'm trying to make this type of story mixing various points of view, I took the concept of the Dracula book, we will see John's thoughts when he writes in his diary.

By the way, what do you prefer? Are episodes this long once a week? or short chapters but every few days?

I hope you enjoyed the chapter see you later.
