46 Bloodline Effect

(A/N: I am removing title from the system and changing Level to stage)

As Charles lay on the ground, unconscious and vulnerable, the hobgoblins surrounded him, reveling in their triumph. They mocked him, taunting him for his perceived weakness.

"Hahaha! Look at this pitiful human! He thought he could challenge us," one hobgoblin sneered, nudging Charles with its foot.

"Pathetic. I expected more from a supposed warrior," another chimed in, grinning wickedly.

The hobgoblins laughed uproariously, their voices echoing through the village. They reveled in their superiority, relishing the moment of their apparent victory.

The surrounding goblins came, hearing the uproar.

"What's happening?" One of the goblin asked as he could not see what was happening because of the crowd in front of him.

"Nothing, Just some human trying to fight the leaders. Tsk, how weak, he didn't even last seconds against them." Off course he was lying as he also just arrived.

As the crowds grew larger, curiosity and excitement spread among the goblins.

They pushed and shoved, trying to get a glimpse of the fallen human warrior and the victorious hobgoblins.

The hobgoblins were also proud in defeating, just as they were exaggerating the story about defeating Charles, the pressure their grew.

"Hehehe..." A mad laughter came from Charles.

Meanwhile, Lucious who was planning to control his body stopped, "The bloodline is acting up, guess I don't have to intervain."

"Ahh!" The hobgoblin who had his legs on top of Charles screamed.

"My Leg... You fucking lunatic!!" The hobgoblin exclaimed, as charles tore a chunk of his feet.

"Sorry, I mean to completely detach it but I was too weak." Charles replied with a sadistic tone, as the green blood of hibgoblin dripped from his mouth.

As Charles slowly rose to his feet, a chilling transformation took place. His eyes, once filled with determination, now gleamed with a disturbing mix of madness.

A twisted grin spread across his face, sending a shiver down the spines of both hobgoblins and goblins alike.

"Since, I feel bad for you let me end you quickly." Charles said, slashing the head of the hobgoblin. "Ahhh!!!"

The goblins, who moments ago were reveling in the apparent victory, now felt a surge of unease as they beheld Charles in his altered state.

"W-What?"

They exchanged nervous glances, their excitement turning into trepidation.

The hobgoblins, initially amused by their triumph, suddenly realized they might have underestimated their opponent.

The atmosphere grew tense as they cautiously took a step back, eyeing Charles warily.

Charles's voice dripped with a sadistic edge as he addressed his pry. "Where are you going? I haven't had much fun yet."

His words sent a wave of discomfort through the goblins. The initial curiosity and excitement that had drawn them to the scene now transformed into fear and uncertainty.

Charles's transformation into a cold, merciless figure unnerved even the boldest among the hobgoblins.

They exchanged anxious glances, silently questioning their decision to provoke this unpredictable and vengeful human.

In a swift motion, Charles unsheathed his sword, its blade gleaming in the fading light. The sound of metal scraping against metal cut through the air, intensifying the atmosphere of impending chaos.

The hobgoblins, realizing the gravity of the situation, reluctantly readied their weapons.

Their bravado had turned into apprehension, but they were not ones to back down easily.

A silence fell upon the village, broken only by the distant sounds of goblin chatter and the rustling of leaves in the wind.

The momentary calm before the storm enveloped them all.

With a sudden burst of movement, Charles lunged forward, his sword slashing through the air with deadly precision.

'The last thing I remembered was getting hit by Mage Hobgoblins attack.

But I was shocked when I opened my eyes. The once-thriving goblin village lay in ruins, buildings reduced to rubble, and flames still smoldering in the wreckage.'

"Did an asteroid or something hit?" Charles muttered seeing the scene in front of him. "Master, did you take ov-ahh!!"

He was startled seeing his sword, impaled deep into the chest of a fallen mage goblin, stood as a grim testament to the carnage that had unfolded.

The air was heavy with the acrid scent of smoke and the eerie silence of the decimated surroundings.

"What happened here, master?" Charles asked. "Did you take over my body. How many stages of my realm dropped?"

"I didn't do anything, it was your bloodlines skill." Lucious explained.

"Bloodlines effect?"

As Charles scanned through the information displayed in the system window, his mind raced to process the implications of his bloodline's power. The revelation left him both amazed and disturbed.

"So, this is the power of my bloodline," Charles muttered, his voice tinged with a mix of awe and concern. "It explains the uncontrollable rage and the devastation that followed."

He realized that his bloodline's ability to transform had been triggered during his unconscious state, unleashing a terrifying and destructive force that had ravaged the goblin village.

The chaos that unfolded was a consequence of his altered state of mind, as mentioned in the bloodline's description.

"I must learn to control this power," Charles whispered, his voice filled with determination.

Charles walked away from the ruins of the village.

10 hours ago, at the inn.

"Why did you wanted to tell me?" Lita asked Chiristina as she had stopped her from going with Charles.

"Just follow me." Christina replied, gestureing Lita to follow her.

Lita and Pristina followed her towards her room.

"Don't tell anyone about what I am about to show, ok?"

Lita and Pristina nodded as they saw Christina taking out a book.

"What's that?" Pristina asked.

Christina didn't reply and opened the book, revealing its contents to Lita and Pristina. Both of their faces turned beet red as they realized it was an adult magazine.

Lita stammered, "Wha-what is this? Why do you have...this?"

Christina chuckled mischievously, enjoying their embarrassment. "Well, I have my...interests. And I thought you two might find it amusing."

Pristina tried to hide her blushing face behind her hands. "I-I can't believe you're showing us this."

"Don't worry, it's just a bit of harmless fun," Christina reassured them.

She then turned around to look at Lita, "Although, I don't trust Charles but for your sake, I thought I could share a technique from this book. It might help you...spice things up with him."

Lita's eyes widened, a mix of curiosity and embarrassment swirling within her. She hesitated for a moment before finally mustering the courage to nod.

That day, she explored a new world of possibilities and desires, guided by Christina's bizarre advice.

With each page turned and each secret technique learned, Lita's curiosity grew, and a newfound confidence awakened within her.

'Tonight, I will give you the pleasure that you will never forget,' She thought, her eyes shining with determination.
