11 Norm

All the preparations made for the event had been completed, leaving the village chief to make his speech. The air around the villagers became dense, as the chief began to inform the people of matters before the commencement of the festival. The odd looks on the people's faces did not go unnoticed by Kevin. It was the same worried look the nurse had when he woke up.

However, before the chief finished his speech, a massive explosion was heard from the east gate.

"What was that?"Kevin asked. The explosion caused a few tremors shaking the ground.

"I do not know, "Lilith said in a stern voice before she gazed into the air sky.

A huge shadow loomed over the area. In curiosity, Kevin glanced up, spectating the former east gate crash under a building. The crash shook the ground, scaring people all over.

'T-The whole gate was thrown by the explosion?'Kevin thought something was odd.

Screams began to fill the air as mothers and relatives began evacuating with their loved ones. To Kevin something was odd, yes indeed an explosion happened and a gate went flying like a bird. However, the people ran like they were expecting another explosion.

"She is here!"Lilith announced in a serious tone, an expression Kevin had yet to see from her.

Step!Step!Step!

In the direction of the East gate, loud overbearing steps could be heard approaching, raising the fear in the hearts of people.

"These loud footsteps! I know them!"Kevin exclaimed, knowing full well what was coming.

"Heh, I guess you do know. After all, those are the footsteps of the creature that left you for dead. Or at least its relatives...I think."Lilith said.

Right on queue, a few dozen yetis marched to the center of the village. However, despite the advancement, Kevin noticed the one walking ahead was no beast yet a girl who appeared to be around the age of fifteen. Unlike the Amplers, she had pure white hair, and white eyes, and the rest of her clothes were in a similar color. Looking at all the white she wore, one would think is identical to an angel, however, the cold look in her eyes says otherwise.

Despite the stunning sight, what Kevin noticed first about her were the writings on her right hand, firmly displaying the words 'Queen'.

"How dare you!"An elderly man shouted in rage.

He possessed a few burn marks which displayed the might of the explosion. In a fit of rage, he ran towards the child surrounded by the yetis.

As he ran, he began to conjure water within his palms preparing to release an attack.

"How noisy!"A masked yeti replied, as it simply swang its hand towards the man. The swing appeared effortless at first glance yet the distance at which the elderly man flew told a different tale.

'They can talk?'Kevin inwardly asked himself in shock.

Stepping forward, all the yetis made way for the young girl to pass. The wind slowed to a halt as the air grew colder, a chill went down the people's spine as she opened her mouth to speak in a light yet authoritative tone.

"Hello! Amplers, I hope you are all doing well. We have some issues to be addressed, so pay attention. First of all, one of my Yemen has been found dead in the forest near mount Joku. For your sake, I hope you are not starting a rebellion. The yetis are my family... unless you want to die, bring me the killer.

Secondly, your neighboring village, Tenor, offended the dragon King Ectis. His being a king-level creature is out of my jurisdiction. So, you will have to provide this year or more precisely now!"

"That bitch! She is supposed to be protecting us, yet she just let another being eradicate a village. If only the former queen, Jean was alive this would not be happening." a man whispered to himself.

No one dared to directly oppose her, leaving them the only option of whispering amongst themselves. Kevin could only stare in confusion.

'She is a queen? Forget about Angela, this loli should not even be capable of wearing a bra. Heck, I bet she still wears diapers. Whoever made her queen is clearly on the FBI wanted list.'

"Who is she?"Kevin finally asked a random villager near him.

"How he-"The man was about to question Kevin's intelligence until he saw his hair. Kevin having jet black hair, obviously means he's not an Ampler.

"S-She is the queen of all yetis in this dimension, Norm!"

"Hurry up and bring both the killer and the youth!"Norm demanded.

"Psh!"Kevin could not help but release a giggle hearing a loli say 'youth' like she was any older than fifteen.

"I am the chief of the village, Edward Frost! And we will do no such thing. The days of cowering under your rule have ended, we have suffered too many losses because of you."The old man declared. He was a weak frail old man but showed no fear of earning cheers from some residents.

"Oh?"Norm said, walking to the chief.

Within a few seconds, they were within touching range, doing nothing but giving stares of contempt. Everyone's hairs stood on their ends, not knowing what to expect. A chief is chosen from the strongest villagers in their time but it was clear that Edward could barely stand. What was he going to do?

Taking a deep breath, Edward surrounded his stick with water as fast as he could aiming for a strike. While Norm, on the other hand, formed ice around her arm, forming a type of claw weapon.

clash!

They both struck each other within a second, and now standing opposite of each other. Suspense filled the air as everyone demanded to know who triumphed in the clash.

Edward slowly turned his head towards his people before whispering"I am sorry!"

Red lines appeared around his neck, as his head slid to the floor. Blood began to gush out like a broken fountain, pouring all over the area. The blood began to taint Norm's white figure red.

"Nooo!"

"Edward!"

"Chief!"

"We are all going to die!"

Screams filled with despair echoed through the village. Amidst the chaos, Norm began giving out orders to the yetis. Everyone was to be killed except for Angela, who Norm planned to take.

Swish!

Norm instinctively raised her left arm, which was pierced by an arrow. To be more precise, she was shot with compressed air in the form of an arrow.

"A wind user? You look strong!"Norm said licking her lips as she stared at Lilith.

"I am! Do you wanna dance?" Lilith asked as she ran towards Norm.

"My pleasure," Norm said while wearing a devilish smirk. In haste, she responded by charging toward Lilith.
