75 Chapter 75: Calm Before the Calamity…

After waiting and already awakening the Pterodactyl I already sent it to the members of Group of Terror as I already told it not to kill them or Apeman. Horn Bun, I already sent there to make sure they don't do anything stupid.

At that, while it would be good searching some more Danger Beast, I called it quits for now as something just as important is about to happen here in the Northeastern area of the Empire, near the border of Hakurou River.

That would be the complete annihilation of the Tengu Mercenaries while the members of Elite Seven begin to attack them to death. That was why I'm currently near Hakurou Town instead of Toushi Town.

Because I can catch them by surprise as well as observe them from the distance. I can't exactly go up to them with Gozuki around that guy can spot something wrong the instant I'm in his view.

His skills speak for himself when he entered Toushi Town by himself spotted the Spy just from his years of experience even though the spy tried to hide but was sneak attacked using wallpaper to hide on the walls.

Still, though I made sure to put my real face on and not my mask because what I found there after a few days have passed was the fact they put a wanted poster on my face… well more like my Hei's mask as they called me the 'Walking Calamity' because of my show.

Although it does bring a nice ring to it.

But they surely have the gull to pin this all on me for destroying the Tensui Village. Those bastards but I can't help but admit it's a safe move on their part maybe Najenda work trying to appease the other nations.

Pin the blame on the people there that are more likable plus the dead bodies are more believable for the nations to believe. Not a bad plan but now that makes facing the Elite Seven all the more difficult.

This was why I shouldn't have left some alive as I set them as an example of not to piss me off I wonder how many dead bodies will be needed to get that point across. Although it would be more likely that they come to attack me straight out instead of small chat…

Fuck that would make convincing Akame all the more difficult if Gozuki were to drop the news about this and knew about what happened to the actual mission from Tensui Village… I would be a very dead man against her unless I can convince her of the truth…

Yeah…

Akame isn't going to buy it unless I show proof that Kurome is alive but then comes the rest of her family as well to deal with Gozuki as he conditioned them with love and affection that alone is near impossible to break.

A prime example of this is the shooter as she is completely loyal to Gozuki no matter what happens she listens like a dog. But the issue then comes with who else is like that under Gozuki control is the main threat.

As much as I like don't like to admit it Gozuki is pretty sly and dirty doing this kind of chain on them. But I'm only here for Akame as that will make Kurome happy but I question myself why I need to do this?

Maybe to feel I accomplished something or feel a need or obligation because I know how they will end up or is because despite being cold-hearted, I want to be the good guy here and not a sociopath.

Sigh…

Shaking my head as I walk around the streets of Hakurou I can see it resemble Italy from my previous world but with more assholes of scum around this place. So basically nothing too unusual about it.

Entering inside a tavern to get something to eat to pass my mind I talk to the owner as I was looking at the menu on the view, "Yo! I'll take a Benton Bull Burger with some fires on the side with some water."

The owner came by and he looked at me as I took the coins I have and gave them to him as well as extra as he changes his face to be happy as he spoke, "Sure thing customer it will take us a few minutes to cook it just right. Want anything than water though?"

Shaking my head no I don't want to be drunk since I'm a light drinker of alcohol as he nodded at that and began to go to the back to cook my meal.

*Creak*

*Thud*

That was when my [Observation Haki] lit up as I detected some strong powerful people with aura are within my range as I didn't take a look to check since I don't want to be suspicious as I waited patiently as I took my water mug.

But I was listening to their conversation as they were in front of me as they try to get their orders from the tavern owner it happens to be two members from Elite Seven…

Green and Gai huh?

The personality of Gai was that He is shown to be rather perverted, frequently visiting brothels whenever his team goes to a village. He also challenged his teammate Cornelia to a grappling contest, which was an attempt to "accidentally" touch her.

So basically, a man who thinks with his dick at times.

Green on the other hand is a serious and intelligent young man. He was usually calm and relied on strategy rather than brute force. This was shown in his first mission when he used trickery to efficiently kill his target in the manga and he is in love with Akame and occasionally tried to impress her.

He was especially attracted to Akame's armpits and even got a nosebleed while looking at them during a mission talk about creepy but I won't shame his fetish preference I'll leave that to his issues.

Also, it can be noted that unlike the rest of the Elite Seven, Green also began to realize and become aware of the Empire's corruption and was not as blindingly faithful/loyal and trusting towards their adoptive father, Gozuki's teachings regarding its deterioration, as some of the other members of the seven more specifically Tsukushi, Poney and Cornelia.

However, despite having come to realize the truth, Green is pragmatic and intelligent enough to know that if he spoke out regarding these issues, he would most likely be killed by Gozuki or be turned on by the more loyal members of his team and as such focused-on surviving through their missions instead.

I can see that happen because that was exactly what happen to Akame when she confronted Tsukushi about it as she turned on her when Akame shows signs of rebelling against the Empire.

Have to admit though his being pretty strong-willed if that is the case to figure all of that out at a young age and kept on living is an admirable trait.

Due to this, Green found himself becoming Akame's primary confidant regarding these thoughts about the Empire, where he constantly warned her about the likely results if she spoke out about her doubts and would assist her by subtly reminding her to prioritize her own and her sister's safety first.

That means Green is someone recruitable if the chance was given like say being kidnapped and along with Akame if I show her to Kurome and give her the low down of what to do.

Meaning I have two potential members to add to my ragtag team as Green already mentioned of how brainwashed Tsukushi, Poney, and Cornelia are they aren't worth saving. Maybe putting them down before they become a problem would be more likely the scenario.

So, taking out those three and taking two that only leaves Gai and Najasho as the remaining members left to be taken into the equation. But taking Gai's love interest with Cornelia and Najasho taking being a leader responsibility highly I'm afraid I can't exactly take them with me in this small encounter.

Concluding the only actual people I can take with me are Akame and Green because they are the more logical of the group that can be reasoned with. Plus having Kurome brainwashed removed will certainly make things go a lot swimmingly well.

However, I came here to get the Teigu [Murasame] from all of this encounter against the Elite Seven and all of their Shingu as well. Those things heavily rely on stamina base with unique abilities that I want.

I can pretty much rob them of it.

Would I care what happens when I take them off their hands not really because those guys were meant to die… well except for Poney and Najasho for their spin-off but not everything is going to be all according to fate.

Listening in to their conversations I can hear the two arguing about their love life for Gai and Green just casually talking about ordering the food for others as well talk about how Akame has been down lately…

Well, if it's any constellation I'll make sure to kill Gozuki for mentioning that I was the one who killed off Group of Terror even though five are alive. I think he must have concluded the fact that I the 'Walking Calamity' must have killed them after their uses or worst.

Honestly, though it might be for the fact to capture Akame more in line with the Empire goals so, not a bad plan ensuring that she stays loyal to the cause though. The big mistake however was the fact that he blamed me for her murder.

Although this is just my thinking that could happen or I could be overthinking the situation for something else but no matter. Everything will go down at night I just have to be prepared for the inevitable to happen.

No matter what happens tonight I must get the Teigu users and the assassins of Oarburgh those who can't escape from me. Fortunately for me though I made sure to place plenty of markers ahead of time during the lake to see who I get from my memory of the manga.

I'm not a fool to take them all on by myself that's plain stupid best to lay traps for getting the right people for the job but for that, I need to make a public appearance as what the Empire likes to call me the 'Walking Calamity' best to make it happen, I guess.

*Tap*

That was when I was brought out of my thoughts as the tavern owner placed my meal with a smile as he asked me in a cheerful tone, "Hello their valued customer here your order like you requested Benton Bull Burger with some fires on the side. Want a refill of your water and some ketchup?"

Nodding at this he began to get me some as I have to make sure to get those members Kurome, Gin, Womyn, Remus, and Natala to go. But for now, me first as I have the major case of the munches.
