Chapter 30: Rest and Catch up

~Third POV~

After the events of Tatsumi finished off the attackers tried to ambush him he continued onwards to his next destination towards the map of the routes he was in. As he kept on going towards his spot, he began to set up camp for the night.

Taking out from his bag he began to set up a tent covered in Danger Beast repellent he got from the Black Market made from the smell of Class 3 Danger Beast Aromatic Butterfly. The Aromatic Butterfly uses its pollen to ward off any invader coming to its destination or nest.

This pollen is used to distract the other dangerous beast from any damage to their senses, but it seems that it has little effect on humans. So, using these homes and villages use the pollen from the Aromatic Butterfly as protection from the other Danger Beast harming their villages.

Setting up his small tent and building up a small fireplace cooking up some meat and starting the fire using the fire orb from [Big Leaguer] he smiled at the scene cooking some meat, "Man those idiots made me work up an appetite. Thankfully they were very kind for letting me loot their food for their lives. Good thing they only saw my mask, not my actual face."

*Chomp*

Beginning to chomp down on the food he began to relax a bit as he had his guard down while enjoying his meal of meat bone with some side of bread as he ate. While eating he observed the night sky with slight glee.

Enjoying the night sky away from his home village.

*Beep*

[Ding! The members Princess, LittleRed, and SwordBae are online to the chat!]

Although he was reminded that the Group Chat existed his mood turned sour remembering his nickname within the group.

Then again, a smile was expressed on his face as he couldn't help but see the other members wondering what they have been doing in their own free time.

It wasn't Tatsumi's job to know what they do or oversee them. They have their life to follow after all so they should be doing what they want not to have someone over watching them what they do.

With everyone here, Tatsumi just nodded at this and greeted everyone accordingly since they haven't met each other for a while.

EsdeathBitch: Sup everyone. It's been a while since we talked like this right?

LittleRed: Yeah, it has been a long while since we talked with everyone here. So how's going, everybody?

Princess: I see everyone is doing well.

SwordBae: Hello again everyone how's it going.

With that, they all began to talk about each other's day and what happened after their quest in the One Piece world as they all began to talk to each other's lives.

Ruby was busy explaining to everyone after the events that she returned home she got the reward of using her points to get the research notes about how devil fruits can be eaten by objects.

Then she began to explain that she kept some clothing from the One Piece world in her closet as she liked a few of them from the Conomi Islands.

But didn't reveal that she created her weapon fruit as she was disappointed by the fact that she needed a sea prison stone to fuse it from the research notes. And also didn't waste all her gold on cookies and Dust or else she wouldn't hear half of it from the members.

Saeko was also the same as Ruby but still had some of her gold as she kept some of them in her home but also talked to everyone about what she was doing training her swordsmanship using her stand [Silver Chariot] to make some combat sparring attack.

But she kept her part of creating a zombie team a secret for now as it's her problem to deal with not the groups.

Hinata on the other hand seems to be enjoying the fact that she explained to the group that she was finally able to return to her Team 8 members again as she was feeling a lot better about herself.

Also, a large part of the return was the fact that her newest reward of the skill book [Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist] that she copied it off as her newest taijutsu that got her in again along with her skills.

Then it was Tatsumi's turn to explain his latest adventures in the Eastern Region of the Empire along with the two Teigu's [Lionel] and [Big Leaguer] while making sure he doesn't sugarcoat it as the other three were surprised by his actions.

Saeko was certainly surprised by the brutality of Tatsumi's actions but knowing who Champ was she could only nod her head in satisfaction at the news of such an animal being put down. But also some worry in her heart as Tatsumi is now off script of what he usually does.

Hinata on the other hand seems to have a darkened expression of the story told as she was reminded of her little sister Hanabi being violated like that in place to the girl who was violated from his adventure. Safe to say at the end of the tale where Tatsumi explained how he tortured the animal to death by tearing him apart piece by piece as well as cleaning up the kids to give them a proper goodbye to the afterlife made she smiled at that.

Hinata's heart flutters at that as despite the world Tatsumi is in he was still sane and compassionate to others makes her see Tatsumi in a new light and somewhat comparable they are.

Hinata perceived to herself to Tatsumi as he had a painful childhood without the love of his biological parents, has trained to please his friends and take care of them as he did and has considered close to them worth risking his life like how he took out Arlong without worrying the members without concern.

She could relate to them as she saw how close they are as she is a Ninja and Tatsumi an assassin.

Ruby was shaken by his story especially with how cruel the people are in Akame ga Kill and how they let threats and creeps like that exist.

As she has heard this makes her wonder how she originally thought Tatsumi was evil at first but with scums like Champ around it makes him look like a saint.

While the idea was on her mind she wonders if her world is like that in her world comparing the two if that is possible. And that is something Tatsumi faces with every single day as it made more sense as she remembers their talk.

In the beginning, she hasn't taken his words seriously as she took it with a grain of salt thinking that his world wasn't that bad but still remembered it from time to time.

She is a kid after all with a hero complex so how could she understands what hard work or pain is to her with her family around. How could Ruby understand how hard it is to stay alive.

Now she understands what Tatsumi meant that she had the luxury to speak such a question as guilt washed over her now not taking his words seriously as he was looking out for her during the quest.

Then came the part where he's now actually being hunted that caught them by surprise because he killed off one bad guy people are going to be going after him so long as he has the Teigu [Big Leaguer].

Hearing this Ruby couldn't stay quiet at that as she raised her voice in concern.

LittleRed: WHAT! That's not fair you were only taking care of a bad guy how could –

EsdeathBitch: How could they do that to a guy that has taken down a crazy bastard like him but is only paid with getting hunted down instead? Truly Ruby I envy your world to have the luxury to even ask that question. Even after learning the shop function I already kind of guess how my world works.

Princess: From the way you're saying it seems like you don't have that much concern over your wellbeing is that it Tatsumi?

EsdeathBitch: Oh, don't assume I'm not worried it's just that there are only a few people to fear from in my world. Although there might be a chance to meet them it's very unlikely considering their position in power. Plus, the small fries that come after me the more I have an honest chance to loot them.

SwordBae: Wow… Tatsumi it sounds like to me that you're a bandit to them. And with your Haki, it seems almost unfair… I said almost.

LittleRed: So, what does that make Tatsumi the King of Bandits or something?

EsdeathBitch: Well, you're not exactly wrong but then again, I'm facing an issue of holding my stuff with me together at all times. After searching for a convenient Teigu –

LittleRed: Wait you mean to say you have something like that in your world?

EsdeathBitch: Pretty much it called Dimensional Formation: Shambhala. A space type Teigu that allows the user can manipulate space and currently I'm on the track finding this Syura guy.

SwordBae: Oh… I mean… well do you know exactly who you're up against here Tatsumi?

EsdeathBitch: Yeah, basically Prime Minister Son is also a real piece of shit that wants to recruit Champ in his secret police force. The Group Chat was more than willing to explain his past crimes and his Teigu was worth taking seeing I'm going to need an inventory soon.

SwordBae: Ok seems like I was worried for nothing if you know what you're doing it seems. But what's with the weapon change?

Princess: Oh! Saeko-san is right what happened to your sword Tatsumi-san?

EsdeathBitch: Oh right… afraid my old gal couldn't keep up with the mission and finally, when I got home and fought against some Danger Beast it got dull. Shame really as I always take care of it now it's become metal scraps.

LittleRed: Your poor weapon! It's a real shame!! Your weapon is like a part of yourself an extension of one's being!

Tatsumi seeing Ruby ranting raised an eyebrow at that as he was just getting used to a new weapon for when it's time for him to get [Incursio] he could get used to the fact of using its spear as he never saw the armor with a sword.

Shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders the other members laughed at Ruby's antics as Tatsumi began to respond.

EsdeathBitch: Why make it like a big deal? I'm just starting to use a new weapon use other than my swordsmanship and martial arts. I'm decent at marksmanship though I change it up.

SwordBae: You thought it was wise to change your weapon with people coming after you? The not very wise choice you know?

EsdeathBitch: True but can you say the same that they can survive a [Conqueror Haki] and with my skills to fight against the common enemies?

Saeko once she read that response thinks for a bit placing her finger on her lip thought about such an outcome in Tatsumi world.

Remembering that Tatsumi world is filled with deranged and crazy dangerous people not a lot of them have strong wills to even contend against [Conqueror Haki] as she once experienced that pressure first hand.

The feeling was very dominating once she felt it as she succumb to it. But comparing that in the world of Akame ga Kill…

A smirk escaped her face as she responded to Tatsumi.

SwordBae: True. The people you usually face are insane in the head so you using your force of willpower on them. I can only pity them since they can't handle it, but the Generals are a different story.

EsdeathBitch: Yeah, but it's a very unlikely chance though but anyway it's been a nice talk with all of you again. I hope you guys have a good night because I'm tired as hell. Still nice to see you all are doing well. Night.

Canceling out from the Group Chat Tatsumi began to sleep as he had his [Observation Haki] active as he could before he fell asleep.
