68 Ch. 68

While Xyrus was finally having his first sleep in years, Anya hasn't been lucky ever since she was discovered.

After Chatting with Iruma for a few minutes, she decided to try telekinesis since she was curious and thought that it was fun.

The first thing she did was to call Director Chimera for help.

"What do you need of my service, Anya-sama!" Director bowed his head and asks.

"Anya wants to use Tekineletics!" Anya excitedly said, and because of that, she mispronounced the word.

"It's telekinesis, Anya-sama. Anyway, if you want to try it, then may I suggest some items you could use as a test?" Director corrected her and asked for her permission.

"Un!" Anya nodded her head cutely.

Director Chimera then walked around while looking around, as if he was searching for something.

"Aha!" Director then picked up a small pen before running back to Anya.

"Since you just got your telekinesis, then we should start with small things first. Like this pen!" Director told her and placed the pen on the small table, in front of Anya.

Placing his index finger up, he then said, "Since Telekinesis is connected to the mind, then you should focus and try to-." However, he didn't manage to finish his sentence when a pink aura coated the pen, and slowly floated off the table.

With a huge smile on her face, which could fatally 'kill' someone who finds her cute, Anya was very happy and jumped, "Anya did it!".

"-C-congratulations, Anya- sam-." Once again, he didn't manage to finish his sentence when Anya grabbed him by his hand, and Anya jumped around, making Director waggle on her grip.

"W-wait, Anya-samaa~." With his hands free, Director kept waggling on her grip, while spiral lines were circulating in his eyes, indicating that he was getting dizzy.

Luckily, Anya soon stopped and noticed the passed-out Chimera in her hand.

"Are you asleep?" Anya asks, and seeing that he didn't respond, Anya carefully placed him on her small bed and tucked him in.

After that, she decided to continue practicing her telekinesis, not knowing that the owner of the orphanage woke up and got irritated by the sounds of Anya's jumping.

She then tried again on the pen, and it floated easily as if she just reached out her hand.

She then tried it on a small pillow beside her, and it was also coated in a familiar link aura and also floated.

However, before Anya could continue, the door was busted open and a fat, bald, and greasy man walked inside with an angry expression.

"You kid! Didn't I tel-." But before he could continue, he saw the floating pen and pillow in front of Anya, while Anya herself was glowing in pink light.

Not knowing what's going on and the freaky thing that he's seeing, he immediately pointed his finger toward Anya and accused, "W-what are doing, huh. Y-you freak!".

"Anya was just pla-" Anya tried to reason however, she was once again accused.

She unconsciously heard his mind at the same time, 'Freak! She's a demon? I knew she's bad news!'

Not knowing what to do, she ran away but not without grabbing Director first before running outside the orphanage.

Tears threatened to fall in her eyes while she remembered her past.

'We have no time for your tears.' A man wearing glasses coldly said to her.

'Stop playing and get to studying!'

'We must use your powers to bring peace to the world.'

'What are you doing?! Didn't we tell you to read her mind!'

'You're a failure!'

'Lie on the bed and try not to move.'

Anya kept on remembering her past, all the experiments, all the scoldings, all the pains that she felt.

She doesn't want to remember it anymore. She just wanted to play.

Before she knew it, she was already on the streets, while Director Chimera kept asking her questions.

"Why are we outside, Anya-sama?"

"What happened, Anya-sama?"

"Anya-sama! Are you crying? Who did it?! I'll kick his ass!"

"Anya-sama, don't worry. I'll always be here for you, so please don't cry."

Unknown to her, a greasy and smelly man saw her walking alone in the streets at night, so he licked his oily lips before following after her.

Anya just kept walking on the street, not knowing where to go, when she suddenly heard a creepy voice behind her.

"Oyah, little lady, where are your parents? Are you alone?" Looking behind her, she saw a greasy and burly man looking at her with an unknown glint in his eyes.

'Hmm, a cute kid, and a pink-haired at that. Looks like this night is going to be fine, kekeke.' When she hears the thoughts of the man, Anya doesn't know what it means so she just answered honestly.

"Anya run away."

'Jackpot!' Seeing the innocent expression of Anya, the man can't take it anymore and was about to drag her away, however, unknown to him, Director Chimera was coldly glaring at him and was ready to kick his ass when suddenly.

A portal flash appeared behind the burly man, and before Director Chimera could process the situation, the burly man who was in high spirits earlier was already gone from his vision, leaving the middle-aged man who just appeared.

"What happened?" Director asks.

-5 minutes ago-

Xyrus who was sleeping peacefully was suddenly woken up by a loud alarm ringing inside his head.

"What's going on?" Xyrus asks the system.

[One of the members, specifically, Anya is currently in danger.]

"Danger? Danger how?"

[A rapist has set his target on her.]

"Rapist huh? Been a while since I killed one." Xyrus seems to reminiscence the past.

"Anyway, bring me to her," Xyrus told the system.

[Affirmative, sensei.]

Suddenly, Xyrus was engulfed in blue light before disappearing.

Once he arrived in Anya's world, he was greeted by a sweaty and oily back, looking towards a pink-haired child in lust.

Sneering in disgust, the first thing that Xyrus did was to open a portal underneath the dirty man, which is connected to the Loop Dimension. A dimension where whoever was inside it, will continuously fall for eternity.

And before the man could react, he fell into the abyss before it closes up.

After the man fell into the portal, only then that Xyrus could sense that there is a soul on the doll that Anya was carrying.

'He must be the doll that Anya received in her Novice gift pack.' Xyrus thought to himself.

"This must be our first time meeting, and you must be Anya. I'm the Sorcerer Supreme, nice to meet you." He then put his hand forward, asking for a handshake.

Anya first stared at his hand before smiling and gave him a high five.

"Anya."
