Meanwhile, before Xyrus fought the Hero Faction, chaos ensued at the Tepes Faction that was caused by a 13-year-old boy.

(Shang-Chi PoV)

What they said was true! Master is crazy! Sending a 13-year-old who recently joined the faction on a mission, If it's just a normal mission, I won't care but this mission is about attacking the Tepes faction, although I have 2 teammates who help me in this mission it is still suicide!

The mission is about rescuing a dhampir who was suffering by being experimented due to her sacred gear.

Honestly, now that I think about it, I feel like doing this suicidal mission. Not because I'm a masochist or something. It's because one of my friends Gasper was the one who issued this mission. According to him, he's been a member of the Mystic Arts Faction for a whole year, in two months he graduated from newbie to skilled, then he kept on doing missions pilling up his Mystic Points before issuing a quest on the Quest Hall. And as his friend, I encourage him success on his mission but then my master thought It'll be a good chance to gather experience in doing missions before I graduate but of course, for my safety, he became this missions supervisor.

By the way, his master's appearance is really weird, those thick eyebrows and shining bowl haircut wearing green spandex pants while his upper body is naked exposing his muscles and scars, his appearance was also the same for his son Duy, a half Chinese and half Japanese, one of our faction's uprising Martial Arts/ Taijutsu student, although a master should wear a Green robe that was only a standard uniform for masters, if they want they could have their own design, along with their student.

Now that I realize it, I was wearing full-body green spandex with a few dark green outlines here and there. While also wearing a thick and heavy long gloves and on my feet are just normal sandals with a few weights attached to my ankles, once I graduated to Master, I'll immediately change my outfit.

The good news is, The Sorcerer Supreme let me borrow an artifact called 'Ten Rings' he gave me a week to practice with the artifact. And oh boy, I feel like I am complete just by wearing the artifact.

The Ancient One said that I'll be given this artifact permanently once I reached the Master rank, I can't wait.

(3rd PoV)

But before he could think more, he felt pain in his back, so he used the ten rings to slam the ground, knocking everyone back.

Soon the fight resumed, throwing the rings like a boomerang before coming back to his forearms.

Meanwhile, far away from the battlefield, one of his teammates a girl named Leslie was firing her enhanced sniper rifle using Eldritch bullets towards the vampires on the battlefield.

Both Shang-Chi and Leslie's job was to create a distraction so their other and last teammate Gasper, could go inside the Tepes castle to rescue the Dhampir.

(Gasper PoV)

I'm already inside the castle, now I just need to find where Valerie is, then I could portal us back to the sanctum.

After checking each doors, I finally reached the basement. Going downstairs, I hold the knob but before I turn it, I decided to use my Sacred Gear and stopped the time around the basement including inside, just in case.

(3rd PoV)

So he went in and he saw her. Her childhood friend who likes to crossdress him is wrapped on the bed while tear stains can be seen on her cheeks and temples.

He immediately runs towards her, and freed her, he was about to conjure a portal back to the sanctum when he sensed danger on his back, so he immediately carried her and jump on his side just to see the destroyed floor on his previous location.

He looked at the one who attacked him and saw a middle-aged man, looking at him with a bit of surprise shown on his face.

"What do we have here? You dare take something from me, what a bad kid you are." The man mockingly said.

Meanwhile, Gasper was already in position to defend himself and his best friend Valerie.

"Quite a nice Gear you have," Rizevim said while looking at Gasper intently.

Deciding to attack first, Gasper casts eldritch whips on both of his hands and used them to whip Rizevim.

Rizevim who saw this just smiled, before a magic circle appeared on his stretched hand and a translucent barrier appeared.

If only he is in his prime then he could block the whip with his hand without even trying. It was all because when he used his innate skill against the Sorcerer Supreme 10 years ago his strength as Super Devil decreased back to Peak Ultimate class. (Lol. Enemy nerf.)

The eldritch whip hit the translucent barrier before Gasper dodged the incoming kick of Rizevim but he suddenly felt pain in his chest when he saw a magic circle on Rizevim's hand.

Rizevim then dashed towards Gasper intending to fight him with his fists. Meanwhile, Gasper who saw this used the eldritch whip as his main weapon.

Gasper knew that his time-stopping ability has a limit, he can't stop the time of those who are stronger than him.

But during his 1-year training, he manage to control his Sacred Gear to give him a slow perception, so he could see the world in slow motion.

So he has an advantage in this fight but also a disadvantage because slowing his perception consumes mana.

But he knew he cannot give up, he and his best friend Valerie's lives are on the line here.

So, with a determined expression, he decided to fight with all he had and decided to wait for his teammates to assist him.

Meanwhile, outside the Tepes castle, 2 raging vampires are fighting a 13-year-old boy who was using an artifact on his forearms.

"Sorcerers! You dare to fight us here! Are you seeking war with us!" Lord Tepes said while he and his son are fighting the sweating boy in front of them while using their senses to dodge all the bullets speeding toward them.

"Of course not! But I was permitted by the Sorcerer Supreme himself to attack your faction because you tried to turn a sorceress into a vampire." Shang-Chi gave a reason for their attack. In fact, what he just said is true, the Sorcerer Supreme himself permitted them to proceed with this attack.

Meanwhile, Lord tepes just growled in anger, he didn't think that the Sorcerer Supreme will caught wind of this.

"You're clearly no match for us! Surrender now peacefully!" Lord Tepes said while inside his mind, 'Finally! This is a good chance to make a sorcerer a vampire then we'll make him loyal to us and share us the most versatile magic of all time, the Eldritch magic, kekekekeke'.

Meanwhile, Marius Tepes just wanted to end this faster so he could go back to his lab and continue his experiments there.

Shang-Chi then punched the ground with the rings to give himself some space while backing off.

The two tepes father-son was knocked back, while Marius turned into a bat and flew very fast towards Shang-Chi.

Shang-Chi who saw this threw one of his rings towards the speeding Marius while Marius just dodged.

Shang-Chi then conjured a portal in front of Marius while another portal opened to a sun concentrated place.

Meanwhile, the speeding Marius felt his skin burning up when he felt the sun on his fucking face.

He turns into a mist and spreads himself to avoid getting a 4th-degree sunburn.

Shang-Chi who saw this sighed in relief, he should have done this earlier, what kind of an idiot is he.

So, he opened another portal focused on Lord tepes, who immediately dodged the incoming ray of sunlight.

While Shang-Chi just smirks at this.

In fact, he doesn't need the sling ring to create a portal, his Ten Rings already got that and are also more versatile, not only could he create portals with the maximum of Ten, but he could also move the portal he creates according to his will.
