1 Prologue

After leaving college, Wang Tian joined a major goods firm, is living alone now at the age of 26. Having nothing but a boring life.

His parents were in his elder brother's care thus his life was that of an independent, a single noble.

He had neither lack of looks nor status yet he was quite unpopular among his female co-workers. Maybe it was his boring life to blame.

" Wang Tian! sorry for keeping you waiting"

With a cheerful smile a young man approached him.

More specifically, the young man was his college friend Chu Feng. They were both graduated same year and then Chu Feng joined another company.

The reason for this meeting was five year reunion of college friends.

" Chu Feng! It's good to see you ." he greeted him with a smile.

" How's the life treating you so far.."

" Oh! it's pretty good. I really love my work. How about you? still stuck in that boring goods firm" he asked.

" Yeah, well it's same with all the companies, wherever you go you have to be a slave worker" he said.

" Who said I did that.." he said with a flustered face.

" True true" Chu feng nodded with a teasing expression.

" By the way, I will be marrying next year, I have met the perfect woman in my life so I am planning to start a family," Chu Feng said.

" What seriously!" Wang Tian was shocked to hear this. He looked at his friend with a little jealous expression.

' Even this moron got a beauty by his side.. damn am I the unlucky star or something..'

Seeing his mood Chu feng stopped talking about his girlfriend. In college so many girls madly followed but he didn't have interest at that time and now the same boy had been living alone. It sadden him.

"It's going to be great seeing everyone again. I can't wait to hear about all the exciting things everyone's been up to," Chu Feng said with some nostalgia.

As they chatted and reminisced, Wang Tian couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and possibility. Maybe this reunion was just the push he needed to shake up his boring life and try something new.

Suddenly, the sounds of panicked screams filled the air.

"What's going on?" Wang Tian shouted over the commotion.

"I don't know, but we have to get out of here!" Chu Feng yelled, grabbing Wang Tian's arm and pulling him along.

Turning to the sound of the voice, Wang Tian saw a man with a gun and holding a bag was running toward them.

He saw the man, he saw the gun, where it was pointing...

" Chu Feng "

Wang Tian's body moved automatically as he hit Chu Feng out of the way..

* Bang *

" Argh.." a burning pain filled in his body as the bullet passed through his heart.

{ Damn! what a pain! now I have to hide..} hearing the shout he saw the man was running away.

Wang Tian lay on the ground, his face contorted in pain. He clutched at his chest, feeling the warm sticky sensation of blood seeping through his fingers.

With a difficulty he turned his head to make sure that Chu Feng was safe.

' Thank god, he's safe'

" Wang Tian!" with a loud sound, Chu Feng cried out as he hurriedly approached him.

"Call the ambulance!" Chu Feng shouted to the nearby people. He knelt beside his friend Wang Tian, who was lying on the ground covered in blood.

"Hang in there, buddy. The ambulance is coming," Chu Feng said, trying to reassure Wang Tian.

" Cough* stop it you are too loud" Wang Tian whispered with a heavy breath. The road beneath his body was covered by blood.

" Hang in there..."

' Agh.. this pain! why am I feeling this much pain.. kill me already'

"Oh god, oh god, what do I do? The blood is leaking too fast. I can't stop it," Chu Feng said, his voice shaking with panic.

He grabbed at his clothes, trying to find something to use as a makeshift bandage. But the fabric was thin and the blood just seeped through, staining his hands and clothes.

"Wang Tian, hang on. Please hang on," Chu Feng begged, tears streaming down his face.

" Why did you do it.. buddy " Chu feng said with pale face..

" Ha ha.. you will marrying, how can I let you die...." Wang Tian uttered.

" Don't utter such thing you will be fine just hang in there a little.."

' huh--what is this...sound, you have been playing with my head for a while now..' he tried to speak out loud but no words came out.

" The ambulance is here... quick get him to the ambulance.." a nearby person shouted.

" Wang Tian! hang in there .. the ambulance is here.. you will be alright." Chu Feng said while carrying him to the ambulance.

But Wang Tian, he could feel it, his time was over. His body was losing strength at a rapid pace.

' Will I die...like this..'

' I wish I could see my mom and dad for the last time, tell them how much I love them and how proud I am of them.'

At this moment he really regretted the way he lived his life. He thought he should have live differently than the live he lived so far.

"I'm sorry," Wang Tian whispered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm so sorry for leaving you all behind."

With this thought the young man named Wang Tian died..

In an instant his soul fused with the system.
