Celestial Salt.

The morning sun was just starting to rise as the trio set out on their journey through the dense forest, the cool and crisp air invigorating them as they walked.

The narrow road that led through the forest was lined with dried and dead leaves, the ground beneath their feet crunching with each step.

Sounds of chirping of insects filled the air as the trio walked down the road. As they walked down the road, the surroundings gradually changed, the narrow path giving way to a wider area.

"Are we there yet?" Wang Tian asked.

"No, we still have to go," she replied. "The higher we go, the more likely we are to find celestial salt."

Bu Suzhe quietly followed her.

Wang Tian watched Bie xue's back as she led the way.

While Wang Tian and the group was searching for the celestial salt, a group of people arrived at the place where they stayed at the night.

" I told you they would come this way, elder Yan Li," a tall man said. His full body was covered in bandages.

" They were looking for celestial salt when we caught them"

Wang Tian and the group stood before a rocky surface. The rocky area was covered by moss and small plants.

" This is it.." looking at the area Bie xue said excitedly.

" This place definitely have the celestial salt"

" Let's go and take a look.." Wang Tian said. Her face was so eager Wang Tian couldn't help but said so.

" Okay.." She nodded with a happy smile and rushed towards the rocky area.

Bu Suzhe also followed her silently.

Wang Tian stood there alone while looking at the area carefully.

" Now it's better " he muttered then began to walk towards the area where the two went.

He came to the place where the two of them were standing.

" Did you find it.." he asked Bie Xue who looked sullen.

" There are two areas left, we will check on them first.." she said getting up.

Wang Tian followed her. They searched the place but there was nothing.

" Grgh.." Bie xie groaned in frustration.

Normally she would not have the chance to come here but now that the lord of the forest was absent she wanted to grab this chance and get the celestial salt.

" Did someone already get it?" she muttered with a sigh.

" Bie xue, there is still a place left don't lose hope" Buu Suzhe who looked her gloomy face said.

Shortly after, they came to the last area. It was different from other ones. It was a rocky cave instead of a normal high surface.

As they entered the cave they could feel the change of atmosphere instantly.

Bie Xue whose face was sullen all this time suddenly lit up. She began to approach with anticipation.

Inside the cave the temperature was cold, the cave walls were illuminated by pale white light.

A salty taste filled in the air.

Soon they saw, on a little hill some handful of shining crystal like objects and beside it was a pale blue grass which was glowing with the same light as the crystal objects.

Bie Xue was so excited that he jumping around like a little girl.

" Ha ha, finally I have the supplement for advancement," she said excitedly.

While she was excited to find the celestial salt, Wang Tian's eyes were also flickering with light.

But it was not for the celestial salt, it was for the glowing grass beside it.

It called 'Star Light Grass' that formed by star essence. Not only it took at least thousands of years to give birth to Starlight grass but various conditions were also needed to form it.

It could enhance physical strength and heightened senses but its most useful feature was that it could also grant wisdom to the one who would consume it.

He shook his head and collected the starlight grass carefully.

Bu Suzhe looked at him with a deep gaze and asked, " What kind of grass is it?"

'Oh' he looked at her for a while. Though he didn't know who she was as she was not in the story but he knew she was not normal.

" You don't know.." he asked while raising his eyebrows.

" Oh, it's spirit grass.. Why do you ask "

" You didn't even care about celestial salt, even though it was no use to you but it could be sold for a fortune.."

" But you look so careful when handling the grass"

" Oh that's why, well it would help in my cultivation" he said simply. After all, it was the truth.

She nodded and didn't ask any further. She wouldn't ask him anyways after all he was their benefactor but looking at him carefully storing the spirit grass she was just curious.

Shortly Bie Xue finished collecting the celestial salt.

As they prepared to depart, the sound of approaching footsteps echoed through the cave.

Instantly three of them became alert looking at the entrance of the cave with a serious face.

Wang Tian quickly extended his spirit sense to assess the situation outside the cave. His heart sank as he realized that it was the same group he had chased away the previous day.

The tall man, whom Wang Tian had injured the day before, was now wrapped in bandages and following closely behind a middle-aged man.

As Wang Tian's gaze fell upon the middle-aged man, his expression hardened. It was clear that this individual was a formidable opponent - his cultivation realm was far above that of the inborn stage.

" So, they have come, " Bu suzhe said calmly.

Wang Tian looked at her.. He remembered what she said..

' You should have killed them '

' They will send more powerful people after us '

He clenched his fist. He should have done that..

He knew he had to have blood in his hand if he wanted to live this cruel savage world.

But deep down, he wished that he could avoid unnecessary violence and the burden of taking lives.

A middle aged man entered the cave with a smile.

Wang Tian remained silent, just looked at him calmly. His face became impassive and his expression unreadable as he heightened his senses, preparing for the battle.

The middle aged man's eyes turn cold.

" Quite an attitude, I will see how long you look like that.."

" Keep Bie Xue safe.." Bu suzhe said.

"What do you mean?" he asked, clearly not understanding her words.

She looked at him with a smile..

" Do I look that weak.." she said.

Suddenly, her body transformed into a massive white snake.

" What the.." Wang Tian looked at her snake form dumbly.

Though he did feel she was not normal, he didn't imagine that she would be a beast.

" Suzhe.. Your injury.." Bie Xie said in worry.

" Don't worry, I can sustain my full strength for one hour .. stay beside him I will take care of the rest" she spoke from her big snake mouth.

" Hiss* you will pay Yan Li.."

With a powerful lunge, she threw her massive body towards him.

Yan Li narrowly avoided the attack, his quick reflexes allowing him to evade just in time.

" If you are in good condition I wouldn't even dare to attack but now.. Ha ha.."

He also attacked with his full force.

" What are doing trashes! Attack.." Yan Li roared.

Soon, twenty or so people entered the area with heavy armor and weapons.

Among them five were fourth stage warriors.

The tall man who was covered in bandage looked at Wang Tian with mocking smile..

Wang Tian's face hardened as he looked at the people coming towards his way.

Closing his eyes for a moment he took a deep breath then all the nervousness, stress disappeared from his face only a stoic and expressionless look remained.

" Stay behind me.." he said in a calm voice.

He took out two swords.

He disappeared from there then appeared in front of the third stage battle king realm warriors.

With a swift movement he cut them into half.

" Argh, Help, save me! " screams of agony soon speared in the area.

It was so fast that it caught everyone off guard.

The tall man's face was contorted with fear as he saw the dead bodies scattered around him.

Wang Tian appeared beside Bie xue to protect her.

He looked at the five fourth stage warriors with a calm face.

" Looks like we underestimate this brat.." one of them said.

" Okay, attack him together with full powers "

" NO! BU SUZHE !…" suddenly Bie xue screamed with grief.

" Huh.." hearing her scream he turned his head.
