=================================

The sun was setting behind the tall trees of the forest casting a warm golden glow over the landscape.

The air was cool and crisp, filled with the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves.

Wang Tian was passing through the forest, his senses were on full alert looking for any possible danger.

Suddenly,

Clash* Clash*

Distinct sounds of heavy metal clashing reached Wang Tian's ears.He stopped then looked at his ahead, after hesitating for a moment he cautiously approached and peeked through the trees to see what's happening.

As he peered through the trees, Wang Tian's gaze landed on two women, both dressed in cultivation robes and surrounded by a group of armed men.

"Hand her over and we'll let you go," the tall man with the spear demanded, his voice cold as he gestured towards the icy blue-haired woman who was defending the woman behind her

.

"Bai Suzhe is my friend," the blue-haired woman said icily. "If you want to touch her, you'll have to get through me first."

"The Church of Doomsday and the Thirty-Three Divine Beast Sect are mortal enemies,"

" If you force us anymore we can send you to hell with her…"

Wang Tian stood by, silently observing the confrontation taking place before him.

" Isn't this becoming too common first those two and now this," he muttered.

" System, tell me their power levels.."

[ Answer- 3rd stage battle king realm ]

" Well, they shouldn't be any problem to me..then"

" But church of doomsday hmm, I did read about them.."

------

"If you want to fight, let's fight," the blue-haired woman said, ready to fight at any moment.

"Bie Xue," the woman behind her called out, her voice filled with concern as she watched the blue-haired woman prepare to fight.

" Attack!" the tall man ordered.

The men draw their weapons ready to attack with their full power.

Bai Shuzhe clutched tightly at Bie Xue's robe, her expression one of fear as she watched the other woman gripped her sword, prepared for the coming fight.

Bi Xue's posture and grip on her sword revealed her lack of combat experience to anyone observing. Despite her obvious determination, it was clear that she was not a fighter.

" Wait!"

Suddenly, an unfamiliar voice cut through the tension in the air.

All eyes turned towards the unexpected voice.

A handsome young man stepped out from behind the trees.

The tall man fixed the newcomer with a cold, hard gaze as he asked " Who are you?"

"Who I am doesn't matter," the young man said calmly. "Just leave these women alone. They're no match for you, anyway."

" It's none of your business" the tall man sneered.

"Take care of the kid," he ordered, gesturing towards one of the men behind him.

"Hey! You idiot, run!" the blue-haired woman shouted.

"Don't worry, after we take care of this kid, it'll be your turn," the tall man said coldly, his eyes fixed on the young man in front of him.

" Ah fuck it.." He cursed.

"Why are you acting like third-rate villains? No, not even that. You're just a bunch of side villains."

"What did you just say! " the tall man growled. In a fit of rage, the tall man swung his spear towards Wang Tian.

The two women closed their eyes, unable to bear witness to the inevitable outcome of the fight.

"Ugh, how original," Wang Tian groaned, rolling his eyes. He saw this type of scene so many times in cultivation novels.

He clenched his fist and casually tossed it towards the spear.

Boom*

With a loud bang the spear shattered into pieces and the man flew away twenty meters in the distance.

Cough*

The man lay on the ground, coughing up blood and seriously injured.

Actually Wang Tian only used 20 percent of his strength as he didn't have any intention to kill the guy.

He looked at the rest of the group, his eyes glowed slowly releasing his ruler's aura

"Leave or die," he said. Due to Ruler's aura his voice was like whispers of death.

The armored men suddenly shuddered as they felt intense fear and crisis.

"You'll regret this," the tall man said, his voice shaking..

" Let's go.."

The armored men hurriedly picked up their injured captain and fled the area.

The two women's eyes widened in shock as they saw the scene before them. They couldn't believe the person in front of them was this strong.

Wang Tian looked at them for a moment.

"Thank you," the blue-haired woman took the initiative first and said, her voice filled with gratitude.

If it weren't for him, she didn't know how she would have escaped from the dangerous situation.

"I am Bie Xue, an immortal chef," the blue-haired woman introduced herself. "And this is Bai Shuze, a sect member of the Thirty-three Divine Beast Sect."

"I'm assuming you overheard our conversation,"

Wang Tian nodded as he already listened everything he needed to know.

"You should have killed them," Bai Suzhe said suddenly, her voice low,

Wang Tian looked at Bai Suzhe, confused by her statement.

"They'll just send more powerful people after us now," Bai Suzhe said, worried.

Wang Tian was silent for a while.

It was true that the cultivation world meant dog eat dog world. But he was a person with a modern mindset even though he had the memories of this world. He couldn't adapt to such change in a matter of days.

" Well, I 'll be fine, " he said reassuringly.

She fell silent after hearing him.

An awkward silence descended upon the area.

" Ahem! anyways what are you guys doing here," he asked. It was natural for him, after all they were not powerful nor have any fighting experience.

"We came here to find an ingredient, but we never expected to run into those bastards," Bie xue said truthfully.

"By the way, you haven't introduced yourself yet," Bie Xue said, looking at Wang Tian with a curious expression.

" Ha ha sorry about that, My name is wang tian just a passerby.." he replied simply.

' A passerby?' Bie Xue looked at him for a while. She didn't believe any word of it and didn't ask any further.

"Bie Xue," Bai Suzhe whispered, trying to get her attention

" What"

"Why don't you ask for his help?" Bai Suzhe whispered in her ear. "Then we can safely collect the celestial salt."

Her eyes sparkled with hope as she looked at Wang Tian.

Wang Tian looked at them curiously.

"Can you help us one more time?" Bie Xue asked. "I'll make sure to repay you."

Wang Tian was curious about her request.

" Tell me.."

" You have to help us collect some celestial salt.."

" What's that?"

" You don't know?"

" Well, I am not an immortal chef"

" That makes sense, so the celestial salt is a rare salt crystal that absorbs the star light. I need it to reach the next level .." she said, looking at his expression for an answer.

Wang Tian thought for a moment.

He didn't have anything on his mind right now.. He was planning to head back to his village but he could delay one or two days.

" Yeah sure…" he said, nodding his head.

A beautiful smile formed on her face upon hearing his response.

" Thank You, thank you very much"

"When do you plan on setting out for the celestial salt?" Wang Tian asked.

" Today is already late, we will set out tomorrow morning," she said looking at the darkening sky.

After searching for a while, they found a place to stay for the night.

Bie Xue and Bai Suhze set up a tent for themselves, while Wang Tian preferred to rest under the open sky. After spending a month in a cave, he didn't want to being enclosed in a small space like a tent.

Not long after, Bie Xue emerged from the tent, carrying a medium-sized wok and a knife. She also had some fish with her.

Wang Tian walked over to her with a curious face.

"Are you going to cook that now?" Wang Tian asked, eyeing the strange-looking fish that he had never seen before.

"Of course," Bie Xue replied with a hint of pride in her voice. "As an immortal chef, I could never settle for just grilled food. I need to keep my skills sharp, after all."

" So what's on the menu?"

" I will make koi fish soup and spirit rice.." she replied.

Wang Tian nodded and took a seat, leaning against a nearby tree as he watched her skilled cooking process.

She was truly fitting the name of an immortal chief. It was like an art.

' Isn't there someone who is the best immortal chief of the whole myriad realm in the story' he thought as he looked at her cooking skills.

' What's her name again? Ah I remember it is distinguishing snow..yeah '

' Wait!' his thought snapped as he recalled the appearance of Distinguishing Snow.

Then he looked at the young lady in front of him who was skillfully cooking.

' Ha ha don't tell me…'

Bie Xue looked at him.

" What are you laughing at?."

She thought he was laughing at her cooking.

" Ha ha nothing, by the way don't you have any dao name?" he asked.

" Well, I do have but not many people know,"

" What is it?" he asked curiously.

" It's Distinguishing Snow.." she said.

"Ha ha," Wang Tian laughed, finally confirming his thought.

' So it's really her..'

Bie Xue frowned at his reaction.

Half an hour later,

Wang Tian sat by the campfire, while the two of them sat on the opposite side.

Using chopsticks, he began to taste the food.

Slurp*

The fishy juice slowly entered his mouth. The sweet and savory taste of the fish soup made his eyes widen

" Delicious, " he muttered.

He had never tasted anything like this in his two lives.

"Hmph," she looked proud as she heard his comment.

Some time later,

Wang Tian found a spot under the tree and sat in a comfortable position, closing his eyes and began to meditate, using the Chaos Supreme scripture.

Although he could increase his cultivation with meditation like any cultivator did, his purpose was meditating to understand his abilities better and comprehend the primal realm.

With his devour innate ability he didn't need to gather spiritual qi tirelessly. He can devour it in various ways. His body then transforms the Spiritual qi or any other form of energy into his innate qi or innate energy.

Then, he guided his innate energy according to Chaos supreme scripture.

As he began guiding his energy inside his body, Wang Tian's breath became calm and a dense layer of aura coated his outer body

Soon, Wang Tian immersed himself in the practice of guiding his energy, he lost track of time and became fully absorbed in the present moment.
