31 [Not A Chapter] Important Announcement!!!

As usual, this is not a chapter as stated by the chapter tag I added on the title.

This is going to be important so best you read all of this.

Reading this Author's note will allow you to decide whether to drop this now and find another fanfic that is suited to your taste. Or it might even let you choose to continue reading this fanfic.

Just think of this as a filter I set up so that those who will drop in the future will drop now so it saves me the annoyance.

First of all, the chat group is getting me hella stressed. Like, due to my perfectionism, I have to stress myself over getting the canon personality of the characters done correctly as well as the events or information regarding canon. It's becoming more trouble than it's worth.

I know this would be controversial (as if I haven't done any controversial shit since Day 1, lol), but I have already decided. I won't follow canon and will do it AU-style.

With the influence of the chat group, there's no way Subaru can keep his canon personality from the end of Season 1. Since the chat group would have no point if Subaru still had to suffer repeatedly.

Also, there is no way that I can fully replicate the canon personalities of every character in my fanfic involved. After all, I am not the original author of those fictions so I can't write those characters like how the OG authors do it.

Furthermore, the characters from canon aren't even influenced by the chat group. So just think of it that it strayed off from canon due to the influence of the chat group as well as the chat group members being introduced to a wider world.

Although I plan to make it AU, I will still attempt to replicate the canon personalities of the characters such as Subaru being a simp to Emilia and doing everything he can to live and survive in Lugunica.

I won't make it AU where Subaru immediately becomes Gay in the next chapter and instead of going for Emilia, he goes for Reinhard.

When I wrote this, I realized why fanfic authors sometimes make the characters become OC-like in terms of personality, etc. It's because it's too difficult to replicate their canon personalities.

And the reason why they are called canon personalities is because it happened in canon.

Did Subaru ever get a chat group where he can rely on his brothers instead of having to do it all by himself in the original lightnovel? Of course not.

You know, some of the fanfic readers here in Webnovel are quite weird and unusual. They preach that they don't like the fanfic author writing his fanfic based too much on canon. Since in their words, "This is just a rewrite of the original, I'd rather watch the anime again instead of reading this shit."

But when a fanfic author writes it AU in order to give a new reading experience, readers be like, "Nah, what is this shit? Sasuke might be gay, but he ain't a female. Voldemort didn't adopt Harry Potter. And what the fuck? Luffy ain't a celestial dragon."

With that being said, I plan to write the chat group in an AU-style.

For example, in Wu Dong Qian Kun (Martial Universe) or Lin Dong's world, I have only read up to the manhua.

I could choose to read the webnovel but I would have to go for a month or even more worth of hiatus just to read the manga/lightnovel/webnovel of every fiction I involved in my fanfic.

So in this case, I'd just read up to the latest chapter in the manhua and start it AU there. Like, I'll start introducing new plots for Martial Universe as if I took over as the new author of it, instead of having to replicate the original novel.

Same with Re Zero, since I have no time to read all the webnovel chapters. So I'd make it AU starting from season 2 of the anime. (And to tell you the truth, I haven't watched Season 2 of Re Zero yet. So yeah, this is why I want to make it AU. To give the readers a new experience but to also make it more convenient for me.)

An example of making Re Zero AU that I have planned in mind is: Reinhard joining the Main God Space in order to resurrect his grandmother since his grandfather keeps on blaming him for his grandmother's death.

This wouldn't normally happen in canon, but it will now in this fanfic. Since external influences not included in the canon have occurred.

So for those who don't like this, then you are free to drop. I'm already used to it anyways.

But for those who are willing to let me cook, don't worry because even if it won't be canon, I'd still make it entertaining.

Without canon restricting me, I have broken my limiter and can now cook like a fanfic author without any limitations.

Canon? That's just a weapon I used in war!

Plot? That's the land I stepped on!

Characters? Those are just the letters in my fanfic!

Dropping? Heh, the only shit that will drop is the hate and complaints in the comment section!

Since I am writing this for fun without any limitations now, then I'll fully enjoy the process of writing this. Hence, I won't drop this!
