Origin Point

The system gave off several prompts in succession.

[Environment subroutine has been reactivated]

[The Environment subroutine handles the absorption and dispersion of gaseous materials and radiation levels. This particular subroutine will analyze and catalog the gaseous materials automatically for the Host. Reactivation of Environment subroutine has unlocked the body regulation function.]

[Upon reactivation the subroutine has used the collected atmosphere and light to establish your world's spatial environment. It has been treated by the system to remove contaminants. The environment will be upgraded and adjusted according to further environment samples collected.]

[System requires Host's presence to initialize activation procedures]

This was it the moment he had been waiting for.

He entered his world without any hesitation.

Upon entering everyone was shocked by what they saw. The entire world looked different. It no longer had a flat two dimensional feel. There was no longer any blank white space. The amount of land had increased with the reactivation of the Earth subroutine.

The entire area was now a tiny planet. It reminded him of the Z fighters and a certain king who had his own small planet.

There was a feeling of life that had been missing previously. Energy flowed from one system to another. The system would now generate dimensional energy for Zanir. He wanted to see how much he had and what it could be used for.

[Name: Zanir

Age: 18

Dimension Status: World (Level 1)

Dimensional Power: 100

Powers: None

Skills: None]

Checking out the newly activated Dimensional store he saw that there were several categories he could choose from. Consumables, skills, produce, livestock, knowledge, and even more. Everything looked so amazing he didn't know what to pick first.

He saw that they even had items from Earth!

They were out of his price range for now but Zanir was relieved to know that one day he could bring back his favorite animals, vegetables, and recipes. He could make a fortune with these exclusive items. That would have to wait until he had more power as even something basic like corn or a tomato cost a few thousand points.

Checking the powers tab Zanir saw several things that immediately got his attention. Flight, x-ray vision, super speed and all manner of bizarre abilities. Could these be superpowers?

He came back to reality when he saw that the price tag for these powers. It started in the hundreds of millions of points and the strongest were a few trillion points. Zanir decided to check what else could be bought.

The skills tab was much more realistic. There were active skills he could use periodically. A dash to escape enemies, an extended jump, projecting an air bullet to attack from a distance, those kind of things. The cost for the more basic skills ranged around twenty to forty thousand points.

At the higher end there were a few more advanced skills like double jump which cost a couple hundred thousand points. There were also passive skills which were always active. Zanir knew that stacking together passive skills could really add up.

Some of the passive skills like Iron Body and Elemental Resistance seemed similar to warrior training techniques. He would be able to save many valuable points if he could unlock them by learning techniques outside the system.

Consumables had several general goods available. It could easily be called the grocery category as well. Zanir saw many packaged goods, small tools, and components here. The prices were reasonable for the items and varied greatly.

Relaying the information to his parents they discussed the system together. There were a few things he wanted to get right away like Remote Collection and the Analyze skills. His parents readily agreed with him. They both told him that his safety was top priority.

Knowing that he needed many more points to get started Zanir consulted the system to find out how they were generated.

[Dimensional power is generated from the world's life cycle. Air, water, and land provide the basis for all living beings. Every plant and animal inside gives off energy throughout their lifetime which becomes your dimensional power.]

[To increase to a higher level world Host will need 1000 dimensional power. Host is encouraged to collect enough livestock and produce to unlock the Farming and Livestock subroutines. Excess stock can be digitized for storage or sold for points]

Checking on the materials he had absorbed it seemed that they would all contribute slightly to his total dimensional power even if they were in storage. They could also be sold permanently for extra points but would no longer provide any income. For now he was going to hold onto the materials. It would be better to have some income coming in.

Zanir and his parents left the world space after observing the changes. They were all amazed at the space and what it could do. This would mean big things for them. Everyone was curious to see how the products raised inside would turn out.

His father started making plans right away. He was busy trying to figure out what they could mass produce first. Kevin knew he would need to see how the various crops and animals reacted to the space. The environment could be adjusted so they could grow things that had specific or harsh requirements.

That was one of the reason magic crops were so valuable. They could only be grown in a few remote areas with protected climates. The seeds for many varieties were widely available and for low cost. It was just that germinating those magic seeds was all but impossible.

While his father was thinking of future fortunes to secure the family legacy his mother reminded Zanir not to forget about the trunk that she brought over. He had almost forgotten about the inconspicuous old trunk.

The trunk was physically smaller than the piles of material he took in earlier but Zanir knew that the contents would be equally, if not more, valuable. He approached the old trunk and opened it forcing the hesitant container to emit a creaking sound. He coughed as the trunk gave off more dust than initially expected when opened.
