After my time in the royal capital. I started my return to the Hanse County and my tower abode with Gabriel. Although Elia was reluctant to see me leave.

I decided to make a stop on the way back though. As I was free to return on my own. As I noticed an old temple that wasn't being used anymore on the way to the capital. This gave me an opportunity to address some people. As I have felt them observe me with some worry.

As I had at the dilapidated temple that was a forested hill. I took in the place. As the temple was well built and would be quite the sight if it was not dilapidated. Temples like this are not around anymore by my understanding. As this temple worships every major god of this world. Even the evil ones. The temple has a statue for all of them.

22 main gods had their statues in the main hall of this temple. No longer is it like this, most temples like this one have been destroyed. This one survived mainly because it is out of the way in rural country.

When I got to the middle of the room I said aloud, "Hello. I have noticed that you all have been glancing at me. Since this world is technically mine now. I suppose proper introductions are in order."

Soon after I finished, the 22 gods appeared in front of their statues and circled around me. Their statues did them justice. They were easy to recognize.

Grandios was the first to speak, "You are a dimensional entity that has chosen this world to be tethered to your authority. We had thought that this world was out of the way enough to not attract a being like you. Why have you chosen Hendall?"

I laugh, "I did not choose this world. It was a random tether. Your world just pulled the short end of the stick. Or perhaps my coming to this world will be a blessing. I am not an unfair entity. I also understand that each of you have roles to play and are each important to the fabric of Hendall. So you all don't have to worry about being stamped out as long as you act within your authorities in a balanced manner."

I then spent some time speaking with all the divine beings. When all their worries about me were mostly assuaged. They started to leave.

I did speak with Wella on the matter of slavery as well. I spoke with all the 22 deities about slavery. What even surprised me was their used to be a god of slavery, but Negaton killed him. So none of the 22 gods, even the evil ones put any value into slavery. Which was an additional surprise. When I told them about I plan to get it abolished worldwide, they either didn't care or voiced support.

As for Gabriel, the good boy was liked by all 22 deities of course.

We left the temple and went all the way back to the tower abode. When we got back, it was business as usual.

Of course people would learn I was living in the tower. However, the bootlickers quickly realized their licking would not be welcomed within the first week. My store of oddities regained normal operation soon after. Which would mean mostly empty.

I spent an entire year just attending to my tower and improving myself. Which resulted in 126,144,000 DE being gained. I wasn't just not paying attention either. I kept my ear up. I wanted to see what effect my book would have after a year of being in circulation.

The result was slow. Many people began to speak out against slavery. Some barons have even outlawed the sale or enslavement of people in their territory. Being barons, their territories are usually small and insignificant. Although they were still being pressured for their decision. Which made most barons cave. Not of all of them though. The few that remained became iron walls against it. Now the middle class of the nobility needed to step up. As the common people have adopted an anti-slavery sentiment for the most part at this point. Even if they are not expressive about it. You can tell by how they act or the faces they make when the topic comes up.

I also decided how to spend the DE. I added 50 kilometers of land into Oroum and a lake. Added a few animals.

I also worked my way up and bought Divine Trifect Mana Art after I experienced that lower levels. I also bought the Dragon God Combat Technique. Now I was beyond hero or any other mortal power level system.

Over this year, I learned that being stronger than everyone was an odd feeling. I lost any sense of danger and my confidence almost got away from me; almost turning into arrogance.

Once the year passed, enough time had been used. It was time to begin change. Which always starts small. Starts with the young ones.

Which is why I had Count Hanse help me with building an orphanage under my name. Funded and managed by me. The first orphanage will just be me learning how to run it. Then I'll open more across the kingdom. I want them to also double as a school. So the children can receive a basic education. They will be eligible to remain in the orphanage until they are 18.

It was actually a culture shock to learn that kids are normally kicked out when they are 14.

The orphanage was opened under the name, Haven Orphanage. As for staff, I...made them. through God-level magic, I made fully self-aware humanoids that looked exactly like humans. However, they are different. They are creatures of magic, and have much longer lifespans with a great potential for magic. I made them dangerous in order to protect the children.

I have only created 5 of them to operate this one location with me. I named their kind, Roan.

I named the five, Kalsha, Turmen, Logi, Opera, and Ana. 3 women and 2 men. The building I had made within Haelith was actually large. It could easily house 300 children with how many floors it had, and how wide it was.

Most would think 5 staff members are too little. That is only the case if they aren't Roan. With their magical capabilities, they can handle everything with waves of their hand. When Haven opened, we of course had no children. We had a solution though. I asked Count Hanse for the authority to round up the homeless kids on the streets. He gave it to me easily.

Which is which is why I sent all five of my staff out into the city with one goal. Catch all the kids and bring them here.

They were very effective with completing the order. As the kids were magically teleporting to me. I talked to them and calmed their nerves as they came. When 50 kids were caught, I recalled my Roan. They brought back another 5 all together. So now the orphanage had 55 kids.

My Roan surprised me a little with how effortlessly they handled the children. The children became attached to them quickly too. I did make them to be charming, but this is still impressive. These five Roan are turning out to be great caretakers and they've only just started.

We did the same thing the next day, but only two of them were sent out. The rest were managing and teaching the kids with me. By the end of the day, we had 110 kids in total.

As the sun went down, a child came to the orphanage herself. A little girl wearing a ring that I recognized quickly.

I knelt down in front of her, "Hello Nihla. It is good to see you well. Have you come to join us here?"

Nihla smiled and nodded, "Yes Elder Oro!"

I stood up and smiled back, "Welcome to your new home Nihla. Let's go inside now.
