Chapter 20

Aella woke up to the sound of her doorbell. She immediately went to the bathroom and washed her face first and rinsed for a while. She went downstairs and opened the door.

"hey" said the man outside.

"Alexis, come in" she said softly.

"long time no see" said Alexis before sitting down on her sofa.

"yeah, so how are you? Where have you been?" She asked while fixing her hair. Before walking towards the kitchen. And because the living room was close to the kitchen, he heard Alexis' answer.

"i'm good, I've been in London.." he answered "bussiness." he added.

"oh, okay" she answered. "ahm, what do you prefer? Coffee or juice?" she asked.

"do you have apple juice?" She asked him before walking into the kitchen and sitting on a bench there, and sitting down at the table while watching her brew the juice.

"here's your juice" she said and placed the juice in front of Alexis, he immediately drank it.
