Making his way into his room he put his bag down and jumped onto his bed. He was tired but also excited tomorrow he would be an official tamer. He had dreamed of this since he found out he was adopted then again it wasn't hard to tell. His skin was a caramel-like tone and his hair was black and curly. 

His little sister loved braiding his hair stating that it was better than her dolls. So he worked hard whether it be in school or practicing martial arts and learning about Digimon. He didn't want to let the people who gave him such a good life down in any aspect. But most of all It was to prove to himself that he was worth something even though he had been abandoned.

That's why he had hoped to be a natural tamer; they were the ones whose partners naturally materialized from the digital world into the real world. So they had a greater connection to their Digimon than those who got a digiegg from the Union and had to form that bond over time. Not only that, natural tamers Digimon started with stronger base strength overall.

Even so, he knew he could reach the levels of those truly powerful in the digital world. Getting off the bed he went to the bathroom, took a shower, brushed his teeth, got dressed, and went back downstairs to play with his little sister. When he reached the living room though he froze, it was as if something inside him was burning but it was a pleasant feeling.

Slowly something started to materialize in front of him until it took the form of an egg. It looked different from regular digimon eggs it was completely red except for the black digital hazard sign in the middle. Looking at the egg Cyrus realized the burning sensation he had felt was the awakening of his "digisoul". A digisoul was the link between a tamer and his Digimon it allowed for a tamer to grow stronger. It was different from a 

Grasping the egg in both hands Cyrus felt as if he had finally found something he was missing. Quickly sitting down and focusing on the sensation in his chest he followed the teachings of his father. guiding the energy from his soul to the egg because of his inexperience, the energy didn't flow very fluidly but he was talented and the energy reached its destination.

A red glow with black specs in it surrounded his arms and made their way into the egg. After about five minutes the egg started cracking and slowly disappeared and in its place was a small red creature with black eyes and two horn-like protrusions on the side of its body. Looking at his Digimon Cyrus's usually apathetic face showed a rare smile he was beyond excited. He was finally a tamer and a natural one at that, looking up he saw his family staring at him with smiles on their faces.

"That's my boy!" Cyrus's dad said while smiling happily for his son.

"Wow, mommy look Cyrus got a Digimon!" Diamond said as she ran over with Teddy in her arms.

"Yes, he did baby your brother is very lucky and talented," She said while smiling at her son.

While all that was going on Cyrus was just looking into the eyes of his Digimon and it stared right back. He wasn't just staring because of his excitement but the fact that his Digimon was a Jyarimon. He couldn't believe it was a Jyarimon, the last tamer to have one as a partner was a legendary tamer.

Most Digimon eggs hatched into Botamon or Poyomon. They were more common and most people's digisouls when first awakened weren't strong enough to handle Digimon that had more data inside them. Not to say they couldn't become powerful Digimon but that just wasn't the path he had wanted for himself.

Either way, he had just become a natural tamer and one of a Digimon that hadn't been tamed since the beginning of the digital world. He had a solid foundation to achieve his goals and all he had to do was push forward.

"Hey, my name is Cyrus I know you just came into this world but I want you to know that we'll become strong together. We will strive together and probably face death but we'll make it through and have our names resound through both this world and the digital world." As he said this he could feel his soul almost heating up as Jyarimon started hopping up and down in his lap.

"Alright from now on your name will be Agni!" Cyrus said as he got up.

"Can I hold him?" Diamond said as she walked over to him.

"Sure thing," He said as he handed him over to her.

"Agni, meet your new family this is my little sister, Diamond, my mom and dad, and the one you're currently biting is Teddy," Cyrus said as Agni was nibbling Teddy who was looking at the newborn Digimon like he was about to hit him with his tail.

"Today just got even better. Not only is it my baby girl's birthday but my son also became a tamer," His mom came over and hugged him hard.

She was happy for him but also worried she worked as a doctor and had seen many people come in barely alive. Especially tamers, she remembered when her husband used to come home with cuts and bruises. But she never cried. She just patched him up happy that he was alive and able to come home in the first place.

"Don't worry Mom I know the dangers but this is something I want to do and I have Agni here to protect me. Plus I'm going to work hard to become a strong tamer," he said while hugging her back.

"I know baby I just got a bit overwhelmed, now come let's go celebrate your sister's birthday I brought a big cake," She said as she let him go.

That's exactly what they did Diamond was even more excited because she had someone else who shared her birthday. His dad couldn't stop smiling as he looked at his family. Life was good and he was going to enjoy it for as long as he could.
