1 It’s always been here.

It all started on my 6th birthday.

After opening m presents and eating cake, me, my older sister, and my parents, where going to a fun trampoline park. But when I got out of the car, I saw these people, everywhere, who were a very pale color. Majority looked sad. I was confused, so I went up to you of them, while my family was getting out passes, and hadn't noticed I left. I pointed at a man and said, "Hello, whats your name?" The man was shocked and started doing weird things, but the weirdest thing he said was, "you can see me?" He kept repeating it, I called my mom over. She came and said "what is it honey?" I said, "Look I made a new friend!" She was confused at first and said, "great." She pulled me away and we went to the place. A few hours after we arrived home, my mom was in the kitchen, making dinner, and my dad was sitting on the couch, with me on his lap. I started telling them about my friend. My mom asked what he looked like, and I described him, first I talked about his dark hair, his pale, almost white skin, his all black clothes, etc. They looked at each other and asked me what had happened, I told them about how he did weird things with his fingers and asked if I could see him. My mom and dad suddenly changed, my mom looked scared, and my dad looked concerned. They called my sister down, who was 8 years older than me, and whispered something in her ear. She looked at me, and plastered on a fake smile, moments after, she ran up stairs. My parents pulled me aside and explained I must never talk to these people, never ever. I must also never acknowledge them, I'd have to act like they were... not there. I did as they told From then on, and only continued to for another 6 years, until I was 12. Other times, I had asked about it, but they always said the same thing. "Well tell you when you're older." I hated that, so when I was 12 I made them tell me, I threatened I would talk to these people. So, they told me. After they said, things like, you see ghosts, you're different then us, most people can't see them, you're special, I kinda tuned the rest out. They said they'd tell me more about The why's, and, how's, when I was actually old enough to understand. But they told me all I needed to know.
