They both appeared near a barren hill, beside a lake and small forest outside the Re-Estize.

Brain and Gazef glanced at the boy and girl standing beside the lake talking.

"There they are," Brain said. He walked forward calmly and appeared near Eero and Ada, halting. "I have brought another warrior."

Eero turned and glanced at Gazef, then said, "I know you, Gazef Stronoff. You wish to have unimaginable powers that can keep you safe from magic casters like Ainz Ooal Gown."

Gazef's face changed and became alert. He grabbed his sword handle and asked solemnly, "How do you know about such a name?"

Eero shook his head, gazed at him expressionlessly. His pupils turned vertical and dark black, as if abyssal.

"Gaze of the Abyss!"

Instantly, Gazef sat down on his knees, opened his mouth, and wanted to vomit.

"Don't dirty my sight," Eero spoke, raising his hand calmly. Instantly, Gazef's mouth closed in horror. He couldn't open it, nor could he talk. He gulped a few times, his eyes turning red as he looked at Eero.

Brain also fell into horror beside him, his body trembling as if death loomed above him. Two abyssal eyes hung in his mind, as if ready to swallow his soul at any moment.

"Although I admit you are quite brave because of your upbringing, excessive bravery is synonymous with stupidity," Eero spoke calmly, looking at Gazef's red eyes.

Eero pointed at him. Instantly, a dark ray shot from his finger and fell on Gazef, covering his whole body like a dark curtain.

His eyes widened as he struggled, but slowly all his struggles disappeared. White bone spurs protruded out of his back and shoulders, along with two horns. His height increased to four meters.

Brain's eyes widened as he looked at the pitch-black, humanoid creature. Except for those bone spurs, nothing resembled a human.

Then the dark curtain retracted, outlining a human figure. Gazef, in his original form, appeared in front of Brain and the others. He opened his eyes in surprise.

Looking at Eero, he knelt down and saluted. "Lord of the Abyss, Gazef, Abyss General, pays his respect and loyalty to you."

"Very good, Gazef. Your task is to keep an eye on the capital city, Queen Renner, and General Climb. Kill any heteromorphic creature you see come in contact with them," Eero nodded and ordered calmly. Then he turned and glanced at Brain. "Brain, you go and explore the Great Forest of Tob. Just hunt low-level heteromorphic creatures. If you encounter anything stronger, run away. Don't engage in a fight, and don't reveal your full powers."

"Yes, my Lord," Gazef spoke, standing up. Brain also nodded respectfully. After a while, they both left. Brain sighed in relief.

"Brother, did you transform him into an Abyssal creature?" Ada asked curiously.

Eero nodded thoughtfully, replying, "Yes, this guy is the most important pawn. He is like a knight in chess for me. Abyssal powers suit him."

"Also, with the spirit of the Abyss racial class, I can create abyssal creatures stronger than those undead. But a medium is required. For undead, dead creatures are required. For abyssal creatures, living will work. It's more like a race transition," Eero thought deeply.

They note that they can't fight such monsters. They have become greatly weakened due to a series of unfortunate events and suggest they post a surveillance team to find and monitor Ainz.

The Captain of the Black Scripture is walking down a hallway after a meeting when he comes across Extra Seat Antilene Heran Fouche.

Antilene has heterochromia, with one side of her hair silver and the other half black. Moreover, her skin tone is pale white. Though she looks fairly young, her appearance does not match her actual age, suggesting she has not aged for a long time.

She asks him about the report, but he replies that she should have received one concerning it. They then discuss the recent mission the Black Scripture returned from and how they encountered a mysterious vampire, as well as the disappearance of the Sunlight Scripture at the hands of a man named Ainz Ooal Gown.

Meanwhile, in a wide plains area, Momon and Nabe are confronting an approaching dust storm. The storm, as it turns out, is a Gigant Basilisk being driven by Hamsuke. Just as the basilisk is about to run over the pair, Momon beheads it.

Having completed subjugating the monster, Momon orders Hamsuke and Nabe to relay their success to the Adventurer's Guild, while he returns to Nazarick.

Now donning his Ainz Ooal Gown appearance, the lich hovers above Nazarick, concealed with magic.

He is greeted by Mare, who returns his Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown, which he uses to teleport to the 9th Floor.

Albedo greets her master in a seductive manner, causing Ainz to momentarily become shocked before his emotional dampener kicks in.

In addition, he mentions that various Floor Guardians are on assignment: Aura Bella Fiora is building a base in the Great Forest of Tob, Demiurge is in the Abelion Hills, and Sebas Tian and Solution Epsilon are undercover in Re-Estize.

Ainz questions the whereabouts of Shalltear Bloodfallen, and the scene switches to a drunk vampire in Sous-chef's Bar on the 9th Floor. She has been depressed due to her rebellion, though she involuntarily believes it brings her loyalty to Ainz into question.

They are greeted by Éclair Éklair Éklare, who attempts to cheer Shalltear but sinks her into a deeper depression.

Back with Ainz, although Shalltear has repented her time being brainwashed by the enemy, Albedo still believes she deserves to be punished. Ainz considers her opinion before turning his attention to a new area of interest: the Great Lake, where Cocytus is stationed.

Then, Nazarick started conquering the creatures living in the Great Lake.
