146 Chapter 146 Experimenting

Looking at his attributes, Eero nodded thoughtfully; physical attack and magic defense are the spirit race's weaknesses, and magic attack is zero, he doesn't have a magic class yet.

"There are other advantages and disadvantages of the spirit race. Anyway, soon all these weaknesses will disappear," Eero muttered thoughtfully.

Eero raised his ghostly hand looking at object virtualized in his hand, a gold coin appeared with the infinity sign engraved above.

He nodded satisfied, "My talent still works in the official version of YGGDRASIL,"

He was able to use his Virtual Reality talent inside the games, which he found out after playing as a beta player,

His talent basically can virtualize and Realize imagined objects in game and reality; that's why it is called Virtual Reality.

Also, the gold coin with Infinity is his exclusive gold coin modified by him to his liking in-game modifications.

The gold obtained in YGGDRASIL wasn't just used to buy items; it was also used for many other things in the game. One of these things included covering the administration fees for managing a Guild's base-defense systems.

In addition, it also provided the costs for automatically summoning servants of level 30 or higher, as well as a required medium to launch certain spells. Gold was used to pay the manufacturing costs of items and even the revival of dead NPCs too, in which the price for doing so would vary depending on their level.

Through using separately sold creator-tools, players could even customize the appearance of YGGDRASIL's gold and experience points in place of its original setting.

For example, say a player killed a dragon. Gold, data crystals, and experience points would still continue to drop by these dragons as per normal DMMO-RPGs, but by modding the game, it only made the visuals of them being dropped by monsters different.

While the dropping of gold and experience points did not change, crystals containing data were the ones that dropped instead.

Gold coins are always in a stack and they had no weight to them.

Defeated monsters often tended to drop money very easily.

This was because there were many crafting classes in the game. Most of them made scrolls, wands, and staves, which were frequently used by magic casters, which they could use as well.

If less money dropped, magic item production would be very difficult, and magic-using classes would have to think twice about going into intense combat on adventures. This went against the design philosophy of having players explore the world.

Therefore, the game was actually much more generous than its contemporaries with dropped money.

Based on this game's economy, top-class weapons in any YGGDRASIL's player shop were estimated to cost at least around 100 million gold coins.

...

Eero then flew toward the stray monsters and ghosts around, also some skeletons are moving around, with player names and levels.

Eero can see their level and name also; he can see the hint beside the items they are wearing.

"It seems it's my rogue class specifications; I can see through the items and their attributes; it will not work on high-level items though," Eero muttered.

Then he flew toward the outside direction of the novice area. Heteromorphic races can upgrade their level by killing and conquering other races or exploring dungeons and completing quests and gaining rare classes, like raising racial level to become the lord or king of their races.

Also, Following the storyline crosses the nine worlds and defeats the final boss world-devouring dragon.

Eero then started leveling up, started hunting monsters, zombies, ghosts, undead, as a beta player, he knew reaching a high level would allow him to have more racial classes or occupation classes.

Inside a narrow path, Eero moved forward; it is a novice dungeon always given beside those novice villages and areas.

Looking at the two Lv. 0 bat-shaped monsters flying toward him,

Eero halted and then with a swift double strike,

One of the bats instantly fell to the ground, paralyzing the other one died directly.

A sign appeared above the dead bat,

Eero then slashed again, killing the paralyzed one,

Exp +1

Looking at Experience is gathering in a separate tab, he can use it himself to level up any class,

While playing as a beta player,

Eero already had two types of classes, Basic and High.

But actually, there are three types of classes.

They're usually ranked between basic, high, and rare. Base job classes can be leveled up to 15, high classes can be leveled up to 10, and rare classes, like World Champion or Eclipse, can only be leveled up to 5 at max. In fact, some powerful classes could be unlocked by PKing a certain number of heteromorphic or humanoid beings for entry without consequence since they don't suffer from any penalty while doing so.

Nonetheless, every base job class had a maximum of 15 levels to invest in. In order to reach the overall level cap of 100, one would need to take at least 7 different classes. However, players could take as many classes as they wanted as long as they met each class's prerequisites. A player could even take 100 classes at level 1 each, although that was considered as very inefficient. As such, in this system, it was virtually impossible to make identical characters unless one was deliberately trying to do so.

Eero then moved forward, killing Lv. 0 monsters bat and then he finally encountered a level 1 boss.

It's a giant bat, Eero became speechless looking at a sleeping bat with a few small bats looks like his harem. 'This is probably a bat nest, and this guy is probably the king here.'

"Well, I am sorry to disturb your fulfilling life, but I have to kill you at all costs in order to experiment on something, I didn't want to do before," Eero muttered, raised his hand and a few flame grenades virtualized in his hand,

Pulling the pin out and throwing them inside the cave.

He turned around and ran away,
