1 -how it began

heroes. . .

izuku midoriya had always looked up to heroes. especially all might.

even after he was announced quirkless.

even after his childhood best friend had turned against him.

however, the few words his favourite hero had said to him during their first encounter shattered his whole world.

it was the last straw.

"it's good to have dreams, but you should be more realistic. how 'bout being a police officer? they help people too."

well, so much for 'you can be anything you want to be as long as you put your heart into it'.

'maybe i should just take a swan dive off the roof. kacchan would be happy anyways.' izuku thought as he neared the side of the rooftop all might had just left him at.

and with the one fatal step, he went plummeting off the roof.

landing on a pile of thrown away mattresses, izuku groaned. just when he had the courage to do something for once, the heavens didn't let it happen.

sitting up from his spot, izuku witnessed the knight, a pretty well-known vigilante fighting of a small villian to protect a young girl.

the three figures izuku was staring at hadn't seemed to notice him yet.

izuku's eyes glimmered with hope.

he wouldn't be a hero.

right now, izuku had absolutely no hope in heroes at all.

he wanted to be a vigilante.

someone who helped people in the shadows.

all he had to do now, was run away and train. train until he was strong enough to help people. he didn't want to be the weak, quirkless izuku midoriya everybody knew. he was going to change.

the green haired boy unlocked the door of his house, grabbed his savings and all might figurines which he had figured with be worth quite a lot and a black hoodie along with a pair of jeans. his mother was away at work so she wouldn't know.

he left the house. he didn't think anyone would even try to look for him since he was a quirkless nobody anyways.

about a year of training later, izuku finally decided to start being a vigilante.

so now, izuku was known as the reaper. often seen wearing a skin-tight face mask, a black hoodie, a pair of jeans and vans.

izuku had his own route during his night patrols. every so often he would go up on roofs to check for any suicidal kids.

the reaper prenvented suicides and protected and helped people. his quirk was not known to the outside world. so people always assumed he had one. for example, some people thought it was speed. some people thought it was super strength. however, no one even considered the possibility of him being quirkless.

the only few heroes who had actually came face to face with him were probably endeavor, all might and erasure head. he had always managed to escape without having a scratch on him.

izuku believed the hero killer stains ideal partially. he believed that some heroes didn't deserve their title. but, he also knew that there were several good heroes as well.

and at the age of 15, izuku midoriya had already managed to capture slightly more villians than all might himself. although, quite a number of the villians he had captured were small villians causing trouble. but the rest were, pretty dangerous and well-known. they'd always show up in front of the police station, tied up and knocked out.

there were detectives onto the reaper. but they never managed to connect the dots between izuku midoriya, the quirkless, missing kid and the reaper, the mysterious and powerful vigilante.
