1 CHAPTER ONE: CONFERENCE MEETING

(Author's note; Most names of countries used in my story are imaginary.)

At the international large conference room, owners and CEOs of various best ranking companies sat listening carefully. Outside, many cars parked in the garage and even outside. The drivers chewed their mouths eargerly waiting for their bosses to come out.

"We have to put in place more of the management issues. Of course, in any running company, issues of management must come first. Without good management, most companies collapse." At the stage stood one medium height lady with dark shiny hair, wide blue eyes and rosy lips. Her voice was lulling. She was the second in command in the business world of Grematoria, a distinct country with more business lords recorded in history.

In Grematoria, this wasn't the first business meeting ever held. Also, this wasn't the first meeting Rhea Azaan ever attended as the second in command in the business world. She was always there to give speech, always there to represent different businesses sectors.

Rhea Azaan was a daughter from the famous Azaan family, and not just any daughter, the only daughter and only child of the famous couple. Though brought up in such a wealthy family, she was humble, polite and hardworking. Since the day she took over the State Azaan company, her parents couldn't help being suprised at the impressive records submitted every end of the year. In a matter of a year, the State Azaan company ranked the second in the business world and since back, it has been able to maintain the position under the management of Rhea Azaan.

The same year, her hard work and determination hit the top and sparked the hearts of many business men and women. Many companies now fought for a chance to sign a contract with the company. She was elected the second in command in the business world of Grematoria and it just didn't end there, she was known world wide as the only lord lady, the goddess of business.

In a black business suit, Rhea Azaan stood firm in front of thousands of business people, both men and women and gave the speech, also giving out tips on how best to manage a business, how to handle workers and other tips that were a lot of help to the business people. Her speech reached many, even those outside Grematoria.

"As we all know, we engage in business for profit. In our minds, and on the minds of any business person, profit is the final goal. Though, we have to make sure to give the citizens what they want, offer the best services ever and be able to maintain our in and out transfer of goods, clear usage and directions to the customers."

Rhea Azaan continued with her speech as members took notes and the cameras flashed. The video went live and views streamed in.

After her speech, Rhea Azaan walked gracefully to her seat in the front next to the first in command, the lord in business Antony Ethan. He stood up, addressed the crowd before the meeting was finally dismissed.

People from different corners of Grematoria always streamed into the large conference room for meetings. Today, one tall handsome man with a pale face, black curly hair had attended the meeting.

Kiaan Tilden was brought up in an orphanage. He personally has never met his parents. Neither did he know who they were. But to him, he thought he will recognize them at first glance. Till now, he has no clue who they were.

How he found himself in the orphanage, he doesn't know but has been told he was a child left accidentally by her mother who picked up the wrong kid. Till then, no one has been able to trace his parents.

Kiaan Tilden was later adopted from the orphanage at the age of fifteen by an old couple who ran a simple company in Grematoria, The Finlay company. He now became the only child of Mr. And Mrs. Finlay who loved him as their own kid.

Though it was a small business, Kiaan had tried managing it and expanding it. Though till now he can't even be ranked among the top a hundred running companies in the country, he was not as lower as in the past.

When the meeting ended, the guards were already outside waiting. Rhea Azaan matched out with her personal driver carrying her files. Just before she could get into the car, someone ran to them. The guards surrounded Rhea Azaan preventing the guy from coming closer to her.

"Hello the goddess in business. Am Kiaan Tilden. I'll like to please talk to you." The polite young man bowed at Rhea Azaan, rendering her speechless. For some reasons, she wanted to give this young man a chance to speak.

"Let him get close." She gave the command. The guards gave way, but not moving far away. Kiaan Tilden thanked the guards before moving closer and bowing again.

"What do you have to say?" She asked. Before the young man could speak, their eyes met. The wide blue eyes verses the distant black eyes.

Rhea Azaan felt her head spin, then a painful sudden headache hit her.

"Huh!" Stumbling back and holding the car for support, Rhea groaned.

"Madam, is there anything wrong?" The guards rushed forward almost pushing back Kiaan Tilden who looked as innocent as ever but Rhea Azaan waved at them to move forward.

"Madam am sorry of you are sick. Can I probably have an appointment? I need to personally discuss some business issues with you. That way, I'll be able manage my small business well and probably increase it to higher levels." Kiaan Tilden said politely while lowering his head, avoiding eye contact with her.

"Who are you?" Still holding her head, Rhea Azaan asked.

"Am Kiaan Tilden madam. Please consider my request." It was too polite that she couldn't turn him down. She held out her card to her.

"Give me a call." She said.

"Thank you madam. Thank you so much." Bowing politely, Kiaan Tilden left.

Rhea Azaan shook her head severally.

"Madam, should we call your personal doctor?" Her personal guard Hutson said.

"No... Am alright." She sighed looking at the disappearing figure. Kiaan Tilden entered his old car which he had inherited form his adoptive parents and used it for business purposes and drove off without looking back.

"Does anyone of you has any idea who that young man is?" She asked but everyone denied.

"Probably he's from the far end of the country. That's more difficult to research on him. Besides, those families at the outskirts of the country are very low class families that no one gives them any attention." Hutson explained.

The guards opened the door and Rhea Azaan finally sat uncomfortably into the seat as the convoy of cars drove off. This time, she didn't go straight to the company, instead, she was driven directly home where she entered her room without even talking to her parents.

"What's wrong with the princess?" Her mother, Avery Azaan asked the guards.

"No one knows." The guards replied.

"If she insisted on coming here instead of her apartment, that means she had an agenda or this was supposed to be a family happy meal together. But..." Avery Azaan shrug.

In her room, Rhea Azaan paced uneasily.

"Who is that man? Why did I have a sudden headache when our eyes met? Or? Is he using a certain magic to..." She thought..." Huh! Be positive Rhea.."
